Stumbled across this on the way to the hairdresser. Have been meaning to try for months.

This is not an “Australian Chinese” this is proper Chinese food. To add to that, food is fresh, handmade and delicious.

Pictured is wonton soup, minced beef soup, and pulled beef burger. 10/10

So happy to have this style of Chinese food locally. Don’t be detoured by outlier reviews and its venue, it really adds to its legitimacy.

Look forward to coming again

It's one of the rare Chinese food with new and healthy taste. I ordered beef water dumplings, lamb soup, and ice soy milk. All of them were good, but the lamb soup is quite special, it taste lighter than you think, but it's magically tasty and fresh. The master wife and her husband are friendly people. All of their food are handmade. They maintain a very clean shop. If you like Chinese food and want to have a surprise, you should try this one.

If you prefer Australian style “chinese food” this may not be the place for you, but it is definitely the most authentic chinese cuisine in Wollongong. If it’s your first time there, the beef ‘minced noodles with soup’ are a very safe option and will not disappoint!
It’s also a good restaurant if you want to try out some regional specialties (西安pork burger), liangpi, warm and sweet tofu pudding, or if you just want a warm cup of soy milk. Remember chinese food is more than just dumplings, don’t be discouraged by a few negative reviews, and stay open to new experiences!

Finally Wollongong gets a good old fashioned street food style Chinese noodle restaurant. Yummy, fast, filling and cheap.

One of the best authentic food locations in Wollongong.
There's a somewhat limited menu here, but that's the point.
This "hole in the wall" style Cafe is reminiscent of the eateries you would find on the back streets of Hong Kong.
The food is prepared with care and skill. Each dish is done to perfection.
We tried the cold spicy beef this time, but you can't go past the pork "burgers".
Great location just outside the mall in Wollongong - go try it.
The friendly staff behind the counter will happily explain anything you're not sure about.
Worth a trip to town just for this.

I ordered the dumpling and the xian beef burger and it was fire! They’re not too salty but still really good.

How do you know when a Chinese restaurant is good ? Usually it's packed with the local Chinese community. For a bargain of 12.50, you can have an amazing dumpling soup with a burger, meet is fresh, flour is fresh, everything was delicious and amazing. Most of it, the staff was super friendly and willing to share their knowledge about the food.

Man, this wonton soup saved my day. It was so bleak on struggle street, hangover lingered on. Then I had the soup. It was amazing!!

I've now eaten through the whole menu and can confirm this place is legit! The food is so homey, the fresh pulled noodles are amazing! And the preserved vegetable, mince and noodle soup is sooooo tasty. I highly recommend it! Good price too :D

Great taste. Had it on my trip through Wollongong. They make the food without chilly to make it adaptable to their guests. I added some salt or/and chilly on the table and it became very tasty.
