Had lunch here . Service was welcoming and prompt. The Pizza was fabulous. Flavoursome and the dough was perfect. The lamb ragu was very tasty. Ice cold beers.
Total forgot to take photos, however,
empty plates say it all.
Will definitely return.

Visited here last week and was very impressed! Worth visiting if you’re in the area. Absolutely loved all dishes we ordered!

I got the ‘Gnocchi Al Funghi’ ($30) - it was delicious and full of flavour. Great vegetarian option! We also ordered the Lamb Raghu pappardelle ($33), crab tagliolini ($33), as well as a meat lovers & Margherita pizza. All dishes were a decent size & were very, very tasty! A bit pricey but a very nice dinner and would definitely visit again.
Highly definitely recommend this place!

Kids meal (margarita pizza) was also a great size portion for a child and decorated fun for the little ones which I thought was cute! (Forgot to take a picture)
Staff were friendly, atmosphere was a little cramped and loud but a nice view of the city if you can get a window seat.
Looking forward to eating here again soon!

We had a great time here. Conveniently located at the top level of the Gateway Building, it is light and bright and quieter due to it being away from the food court on the ground floor.

The pizzas and pasta were all great. The service was very attentive and helpful.

The current $25 lunch special (being selected mains and a drink, including a selected wine, beer, juice or soft drink) is great value.

Been here several times, a few by First Table and some through normal reservation. The food has been amazing each time 😀

I always get lamb ragu and the truffle gnocchi and they never disappoint!!! Extremely great flavours and cooked very well. My first time trying gnocchi was at Salt Meats Cheese and my great experience has made it one of my favourite forms of pasta!!!

Arancini balls are also great too. Very cheesy. Nice ambience and great service. Highly recommend coming here for pasta.

Amazing. Thanks for google!

1. Food
Amazing. I thought i was in Italy to enjoy genuine pizza there. Margherita was really different from other copy one. dough, tomato paste is something different from others. and it was cooked in brick oven so really tasty.
Lamb pasta was also special item in this restaurant. hand-made noodle also upgraded a value of this food.

2. Offered service
Generally, above of average. All staffs are kind.

3. Atmosphere
Just mordern restaurant so it is very fancy and clean.

4. Value
Price is reasonable. but extra 10% will be charged on Sunday based on your order.

We had prosciutto pizza and lamb ragu pasta. Tastes okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The young brunette waiter (long hair with stubble and earrings) offered serving plates for us without us asking, i thought that was thoughtful. Clearly someone is bringing their brain and soul for work and not just working for the sake of it. And for that i give them 5stars, oh and also the lunch package of AUS$29 with 1 main and 1 alcohol is crazy affordable within the CBD. Good job!

Easily the best Italian I've had since my holiday to Italy! Delicious buratta, fresh mushroom and truffle pappardelle, and finished off with delectable in-house tiramisu. So glad my friend and I decided to walk just a few streets over from the main restaurant area to find this gem.

I've heard about this place for ages and I finally got to try it for myself! Love this location as it's super close to Sydney Harbour.

We started off with the 'Housemade Saffron Arancini'. These little rice balls sat on top of a paprika mayo and were topped with parmigiano. Saffron is one of the most precious spices in the world, so if there's any chance I can have it, I will! These were a hit for me, especially when I cut the arancini open to find an oozy, cheesy centre.

For pastas, we ordered both the 'Lamb Ragu Pappardelle' and the 'Crab Tagliolini'. The ragu was packed with flavour and was such a rich and hearty dish to eat. Personally, I would have loved more pasta than lamb, but that's just me! The other pasta dish was a little lighter and they were not stingy with the blue swimmer crab at all. Both absolutely delicious!

Of course we had to order a pizza. Since our pastas were quite filling, we went for something light - the 'Buffalo'. Tomato base, buffalo mozzarella and basil. Simple but one of my favourite pizza toppings ever.

We finished off with an 'Affogato' for dessert. Vanilla bean ice cream & Black Market espresso. It's the perfect way to finish any meal!

Amazing food and amazing gnocchi! Came here for the half kilo gnocchi special for $35. Enough to feed 3 with all its tomato and cheesy goodness. This restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere perfect for a dinner after work with excellent and timely service and attentive staff. The pizzas here are a must try in addition to the wide variety of cheeses on offer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit on a Saturday night. Tasty and quite quick food, great service. Wood fired focaccia is so delightful, I could make it a main meal!

We visited Salt Meats Cheese this evening. Seated by the kitchen, we were given the opportunity to see that the chefs worked with a high level of professionalism and commitment to providing outstanding meals to the customers. The timing between receiving our entree and main meals was perfect. The standard and quality of food was impeccable, we could not fault it. One very minor criticism is that the wait for our drinks was unexpectedly slow as it did not appear to be very busy at the bar. Regardless of this, we would highly recommend this restaurant. Standout meal was the grilled octopus. The flavours were incredible!

Stumbled upon a great place for pizza upstairs in the Gateway. We were lucky to get a table without waiting - right during the vivid festival. The service was also friendly and prompt. The truffle pizza was delicious, and I loved their lemon meringue cocktail, which unfortunately was only a vivid special. Hopefully they make it part of the regular menu!

Everything is delicious. The pizza is authentic Italian. Lots of different toppings with fresh ingredients. We had the vegetariana, the bresaola (without bresaola, but still worth it) and the truffle pizza. The gnocchi with gorgonzola were not my favorites as I do like to see them drowing in gorgonzola, but that is just my taste. The actual dish was very tasty. The saffron arancini were superb: juicy and crunchy, the complementary sauce was a perfect match (to lick the plate!) Truffle fries, just perfect!! So, so good! Everything. Seriously. The tiramisu slice was an actual big portion (not the classic 2 teaspoons worth of tiramisu in a glass). There was an initial misunderstanding due to a website error about their all you can eat options (which we thought we booked, but it was not available at their location). But we were lucky enough to deal directly with the locations manager, who solved the problem quickly, in a professional and friendly manner. Definitely coming back.

Amazing selection of food and drinks. One of the best panko crumbed chicken and gnocchi that I have tried. Fantastic venue to check out. So delicious.

I had a fantastic experience at Salt Meats Cheese Circular Quay! The staff was incredibly welcoming, especially the administrator who made sure I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. I ordered pizza for takeaway and I was surprised at how quickly it was ready, I barely had time to check my phone!

Truffle and meatlovers pizzas were delicious. Menu isn't the largest, but I imagine it's so they can give more attention to each individual dish. Reasonable price too, given the location. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely experience at Salt Meats Cheese with my partner last night for dinner. I had the Lamb Ragu Pappardelle and an Aromatic Spritz. Wonderful service and the food was very yummy. We sat right next to the kitchen and got to watch the wooodfired pizzas being made.
