Very professional and delicious wine bar. Not only great wines but their food and ambience is super. Staff are very attentive and in great manner.

We had a private function there, service was good, staff are very attentive and friendly. They accommodate most of our requests. food was surprisingly nice, shared plates, very tasty, we had the chef premium set menu. nice wine selection, good atmosphere, overall, we had a nice experience. We will definitely try it again this summer.

The most wonderful place in Sydney where the food is exceptional, the range of wines on offer is outstanding and the service is perfection. My favorite place in Sydney to relax, dine and enjoy the gorgeous ambiance. I can't recommend Bibo highly enough. Magnificent in every way .

Love this exceptional wine list, sommelier knowledge and the complementary food. The smoked Mackerel dip is the best I've ever had. Every time I visit Sydney I book a table here. It's moody, atmospheric and never disappoints.

This is a must visit, and should be everyone’s favorite. Staff always has a great level of attention to their guests, food is always tasty and beautifully presented, wine list has something for everyone. I cannot recommend enough! My favorite restaurant in Sydney!

Incredible dining experience. Perfect for a date night. The chorizo was so smoky, duck melt in you mouth, beef cheek fall off the bone and potatoes so crispy. The dessert was incredible! Also loved the Passionfruit martini. Nailed it!!

Bibo is a must try! It's one of my favourite restaurant in the Eastern Suburbs! You will not be disappointed...the food is absolutely delicious - all dishes are a great combination of flavours. The service is very professional and also super friendly. Their selection of wine is extensive and if you don't know which one to pick, the staff will give you tailored advices based on your taste and the food you've ordered. I've actually discovered some unique wines there.
I highly recommend this restaurant - for lunch or dinner, you'll always have a good time with excellent food & wine!

In case regulars were wondering, I am happy to report that the "signature chef share menu at home" actually works pretty good!
The packaging, separation of hot and cold, placing the lids back on the oysters, separate dressing, works well. Brisket travels very well. Bolo de bolacha was ideal comfort food desert. We also like Catherine calling us to make sure that if we ordered directly from DoorDash we knew the menu was slightly different from what appears on the website – the sort of care that reminds us that we are dealing with bibo.
We were a little disappointed that the chorizo did not arrive in flambe, but there are probably health and safety regulations still to be worked out.
Adopt your favourite wine bar for home use, and increase the chances of having a really good place to go once this is all over.

We love dining at Bibo - our
neighbourhood wine bar with exceptional food and wine but most importantly warm and welcoming service especially when we bring our 6 year old to dinner...they even had the chef come out with different pasta choices for him!

My Wife and I were taken to dinner by Friends to the wonderful Bibo Wine Bar and Restaurant at Double Bay.
What a wonderful experience.
From the moment we entered we were treated like special guests by the wonderful friendly staff.
The food is a fusion of Portugese / European , and wow how fresh and tasty it was.
We shared a mixture of entres and mains.
From seafood to Lamb , the food was beautifully cooked and the portions plentiful.
The sauces on the various dishes were amazing.
So tasty and filling , however not overwhelming.
The food is cooked with love.
Ensure that you leave room for the wonerful deserts which are also cooked fresh at the premises.
you must try the portugese Tart with home made icecream
Ive never tasted anything like it.
Lovely ambiance , great service and outstanding food.
I will be returning with my Adult Children for another round of wonderful food.

as always it is a pleasure to dine here - attentive and interesting staff, food is thoughtful and delicious. The octopus , crudo and smoked mackeral pate the stand outs :) We sat out the back this time and it was much quieter which suited us - it was full but great ambiance and you could actually talk to your group

Gorgeous wine bar that is definitely the hidden gem of Double Bay. Amazing wine list, super friendly staff and great decor make this a stand out place that is worth visiting time and time again. Food looked incredible so am definitely keen to come back and explore the menu!
