Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort

Stayed 1 night here with our family. Service on arrival was great, with a room upgrade to a 2 bed garden villa. The room had everything that you would need or want for a longer stay.

Pool was under maintenance when we were there but looked good. The beach is so close so this didn't worry us.

Beautiful, if remote, resort. Impeccably clean and well stocked villas with stacks of space and good quality fixtures and fittings. Supplied with essentials such as dishwasher powder and laundry powder. The pool was not as clean as I would expect and would benefit from a rail to assist getting in. Very good beach access.

Agnes water is one of our favourite places and sandcastles is an awesome location with great rooms, facilities and a short walk to the beach

Great location with easy and quick beach access. We stayed in the beach home apartment last Oct and had a relaxing stay.
Clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Our apartment was upstairs, however was slightly noisy with a family below using their private pool until late at night. Luckily they only stayed a few nights..

Enjoyed the clean spa and pool daily.

We weren’t too impressed with the restaurant onsite for dinner. However, there are a lot of other places to eat.

This is a great resort in a fabulous location. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment upstairs. The location is amazing - walk to town and to the beach (we could hear the ocean). The pools are lovely, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our accommodation had THE COMFIEST BEDS WE'VE EVER SLEPT ON ... not sure if it was just our room but they were amazing. Take insect repellant if you're sensitive.

Wonderful. The staff are great the rooms are great. We had a wonderful relaxing time well worth the experience. I am recommending it to everyone that I speak too.

Best location in lovely Agnes Water - easy walk to shops and easy, direct access to the beach.
Reception staff were very helpful and we were delighted with beach home 20. It was modern, clean, spacious and had its own private pool! We just loved the morning sun on the patio.
On-site restaurant is great too.

Super impressed with this cute motel. So it’s a motel at the front and down the back near the beach is the resort. We stayed up the front and it didn’t disappoint. Rooms were modern, clean and a small kitchenette (which was perfect for the meal we had in our room). It was nice to have a little private outdoor area for ourselves too - but if you prefer, there is a massive communal siting area just outside the rooms. It’s right next to an amazing restaurant (Drift & Wood). They have a great pool too. All in all a very pleasant stay and very pleasant staff.

Sandcastles was an amazing relaxing getaway for us. We felt so relaxed the whole time and the beach home was incredible. Spacious and well set out, the facilities were also really nice. Lovely spa and heated pool. Great BBQ in the house too, and coffee pod machine. The beach is a very quick walk away and it's in a great spot away from the busier parts of Agnes. Fell asleep listening to waves and wake up listening to birdlife and waves. Easy parking and the on-site restaurant is worth a go really good food. Helpful and lovely reception staff booking, questions, local guidance and checking in and out a breeze. Thanks we can't wait to come back!!

This place is amazing, great location, we stayed in a studio apartment, it was so beautiful and clean, it was equipped with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be coming back again very soon

Sandcastles Garden Villas are our go to accomodation when we visit Agnes. We've stayed 6 visits now and it just gets better and better.
Location is amazing....4 minute walk to the most glorious beach...and a few minute walk into town! Staff are wonderful...Annie, Heather, Holly in reception are fantastic and cannot help enough, always greeting everyone with smiles. The villas are immaculately clean as well.
We always love our stays and cant wait to get back!

My husband and I stayed at one of the Beach Houses for our anniversary. The staff were all amazing and thoughtful - upgrading our room and leaving flowers and a note on arrival! The rooms have everything you need and more and there is a restaurant on site if you don't want to venture too far after a big day. We will be back again!

Variety of accommodation options, decent sized pool for doing laps, walk to beach and shops.

The room we had was lovely, clean, cool and the bed was big and very comfortable. We arrived quite late but the staff made sure we were welcomed anyway! We also ate pizza from their on-site restaurant and it was so good! Even after we checked out, the receptionist was kind enough to let us have the code to the pool area to take a shower after the beach before we hit the road. Even though we only paid for a budget room, the facilities and service provided was 5 star!

After a long drive it was great to check in to our apartment and find that the fridge had been stocked as well as breakfast for the 5 days. The apartment was tastefully decorated with everything we would need to made our stay enjoyable. It was a short 3 minute stroll to the beach where we surfed, snorkeled, rode our push bikes and body surfed. It is just a short stroll along the beach to the caravan park for a great coffee and a chat with other holiday makers. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday that we hope to make a regular destination.

Reception staff was very friendly, made us feel very welcome. Room was clean and tidy.

Great place to get away from the rat race, relaxing and welcoming. Great friendly staff very helpful and accommodating, great location and décor loved the use of pebbles in the shower and the natural ventilation which works really well. We will be back Tyra and Tony

Our first trip to 1770/ Agnes Waters.....accommodation was lovely and suited our family of four. Loved our private plunge pool. Short walk to the beach, quick drive to shops, perfect location. Helpful and friendly office staff who were more than willing to assist. Quiet complex, beautiful gardens and generally a well maintained apartment. We did make a few maintenance suggestions to the staff on our departure.
