Yummy food with great family ran hospitality! Absolutely enjoyed the place and definitely recommend for Biriyani lovers. Just one slight feedback that the food could been a bit more warm.

This restaurant amazed us. The service was wonderful and very attentive to all our needs. We chose the Banquet 1 option which is good for 2 people. Being our first time eating at an Afghani restaurant we were extremely grateful of the experience and the flavours are just fantastic. Hope to return here one day soon for another experience.

Beautiful. Beef skewers r very juicy and nice. Friendly staff and good service. Good lake view. Cheese garlic naan is delicious but cheese taste is so much stronger than garlic. (forgot to take photos). Dimsum was good too

Went to Bamiyan at Norwest for lunch today with some girlfriends it was great! The food was so delicious, lovely atmosphere inside. Looking forward to visiting again, thank you!

Lovely place, beautiful location being next to a lakeside.
Food is rich in flavours. Especially Mantu dumplings, Chicken Kabuli (1 dish enough for 2ppl). Rice was full of aroma, flavours, dry fruits and Chicken Qorma curry was yummy.
Would love to visit and try some more mouth watering dishes.

What do you do when you want to try something different to eat? Tired of Italian, Mexican and Thai (Ok, not Thai)

You try Afghani. I highly recommend going to Bami's. Lovely setting outside overlooking the lake.

For a good overview of the food, go for the Banquet. A devious smorgasbord of entrees and maim, which will leave your taste buds salivating.

Very good quality food and service was good as well . Food on the pricier side but the presentation and quantity justifies it . Just be warned you if u order chilli on the side they charge you 5 dollars and call it a mini dip

Birthday lunch meal., Lunch time special ,We had a shared Tasting platter which is a good introduction to Afghan food,with a Lamb curry/rice as extra. The food was delicious, service excellent and the Owner give us novices a lesson on Afghanistan's culinary delights.Will always go there for my curries, mouthwatering melt-in -the- mouth dumplings, etc,etc, driving the long distance to enjoy this absolutely delicious food. UPDATE : Another Birthday Lunch meal for 14 people .LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS HAVE EASED,, We ordered our menu Choices the night before, tasty curries , BYO non Alcoholic wine was a bit pricy corkage wise !!!!!

My special favourite here was the flat bread with a layer of potato and chives in it. We chose the banquet that consisted of 4 entrees 2 mains - plenty of delicious food for 4 adults lunch (larger banquets available). There are lots of meat and vegetarian options. There is outdoor seating under cover overlooking the lake, or indoor in air-conditioning. Parking for patrons is available at no charge.

Delicious Afghan food in the area. Venue was super clean and well designed. Food was really great and fresh.
Food portion was good (at least for what we ordered).

Chef was kind enough to make sure we were looked after and happy with food and service.

But the food I will say was not 5 STAR.
There are not enough stars available to give for the FOOD, it was GREAT.
I loved the chicken kadai with garlic naan that was killing, it was great. I loved it.
Even though we had koftas i.e. meat balls curry and eggplant curry and dumplings and many more dishes.

Everything is absolutely delicious, as an Afghan myself I loved every bite of the food. Especially the homemade dough was amazing, service was really good and stunning views

The restaurant was highly recommended by a close friend and was our first experience at Afghan cuisine. We were encouraged by the lovely waitress to try their banquet menu as a formal introduction to the cuisine. They did not disappoint as banquet was an explosion of new flavors and more than satisfied our hunger! Will definitely comeback soon!

Booked a table of 4 and arrived there by 7pm. Ambiance is really good with the waterfront lakeside view. We used to visit their Restaurant in Dural. And this time we decided to give a try in this waterfront one. Bamiyan never fails to astound us with their amazing service and their flavour rich cuisine. We were literally drooling sniffing the aroma of their food while waiting for our one. Staffs were really kind and helpful in recommending the dish. Highly recommended and definitely coming back !!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside (we nearly left even though we had a booking) but once you’re in it’s a whole different story. Service was fine if slightly inexperienced but they got it all I good order and very friendly which is worth more than other element. Lovely place and well appointed but when you get the food it’s magic. We wanted more. Chicken skewers were something else. And I’ve eaten a lot of expensive food. Cheese desert was magic. And the wine is very reasonably priced for high quality. Will go again.
