We are regulars here, the service is consistently good, food is great with lots of healthy options, and they are always accomodating for our toddler. We love it here!

We went during the pandemic. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered two dishes for a brunch session out, the chunky avocado with dukkah and Persian fetta & lemon was really fresh and good portion! The other dish dish was the coconut milk, fig & granola - it was full of great fresh ingredients and they were very generous with the dried figs!

Drinks we got the mango & berries fruit drink which was made with real fruit!

My wife and I visited The Local Collective on our way back from Fagan Park. The staff were very friendly and as it was an hour from closing time the menu was becoming restricted for options. We got what we needed with great help from the staff. The food was amazing and came out quick. The service was excellent and we will be back. Good coffee here too. 👍

Best chicken, slaw, AVO toasted sandwich of my life! Lovely staff were able to accomodate a BLT for my disability client which wasn’t on the menu. Will be back to visit next week on our weekly walk. Thanks guys!

Lovely cafe. Dog friendly seating outside and undercover. Enjoyed coffee and milkshakes here on way to Fagan park. Only wish is that they had the tumeric latte on the menu in stock again soon, as it had run out this visit.

I experienced today, Friday 29th September, 2023, a great flat white coffee and an excellent chicken wrap with Cajun slaw. A terrific location with a pleasant outside setting to enjoy lunch and/or coffee.

Love this place! Been coming here for years. The staff are lovely, food is delicious, fast service and very nice coffee. The chicken toastie is my favourite thing on the menu (and can be made into a wrap as a good ‘to-go’ option).
My favourite place to eat in Galston !

My partner and I live locally and often have our weekend breakfast at the Local Collective. It is consistently a good experience. The food, coffee, service and staff are great. My personal favourite: their bacon & egg roll.

What makes this place great is the owners work and run the cafe alongside their staff. It's busy but they make it work every time. Also, you can tell they care about what they put out. Their recent change from Campos to Cat's Pyjamas, I thought, was a testament to their craft. 10/10 will come back again (and again)!

Our new favourite weekend coffee and brunch joint. First time we were there they were very busy and forgot our food order, when this was highlighted they offered coffee on the house. Great customer service, the way it should be.

Leaving five stars because most days they are, however this review is intended as constructive feedback. I have been going to this place frequently since it opened, probably two years or so.

If I could just pass this one piece of feedback along - you need to find a way to get your coffee out quicker. Be it a larger machine, or more capable barista staff. The last couple of times I have been waiting what I feel is beyond a reasonable time for a takeaway coffee, around 15+ minutes.

It used to be really quick, I don’t know if you had a system in place for takeaway versus people sitting in (who have more time and usually happy to spend time there).

Now it’s at a point where I need to allocate time to get a coffee, it’s not the quick duck in and duck out coffee experience that us busy people need when we are ordering a takeaway.

I used to be able to stop and leave my family/kids in the car because it was a really quick exercise. Now I’m getting yelled at because kids are bored in the basement of Aldi where there is no phone service to entertain them either…:/ I know that part isn’t the cafe fault though. Speaking of phone service, it’s the only other thing that’s quite frustrating in the cafe - whilst waiting for the takeaway coffee, can’t get anything done on the phone. I would suggest looking into a Telstra signal booster, they’re actually quite easy to install.

Apart from that, it is the best coffee in the area, I am loyal and grateful since you opened, it just pains me when I know I won’t have enough time to stop there anymore and need to press on. :(

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, pet friendly. I think the food is a tiny bit expensive, but it tastes great so I'm happy to fork out extra. I would visit a lot more frequently if the prices were reduced the tiniest bit! It usually costs us around $60 for two meals and two coffees, because we have to slightly alter the meals to accomodate our allergies. This always ends up costing extra.

The Local collective has become popular since opening. Finding a seat on the weekend is not always the easiest but it is worth the effort. They make what I believe to be the best Best chicken burger and beef burger in a 10km radius. The bacon and egg roll is out of this world and they have great healthy options on the menu.

Had breakfast with friends early this morning. Could not fault anything. Staff were so pleasant and not in your face. Food was incredible, we all had something different and it was delivered so quickly and was hot and yummy. So cold outside but cosy inside. We live in the area and will make it a habit to visit here. Highly recommend.

Very nice coffee, bacon and egg roll is out of this world and super messy to eat but soooo good. Wagu burger is one of the nicer burgers Ive ever had and all reasonably priced. Cruisy, relaxed but still professional atmosphere. Sit outside or inside. 👍 Pretty darn good really.
