This park is great, last minute booking and I was in. The park is clean, ammenities are clean, staff are friendly and they are dog friendly.

Good area for dog to play and park is well maintained. Not overcrowded and prices reasonable.

Fish and chip shop at the front open good hours. Very happy with this location.

Very welcoming staff, Cabins are very comfortable. Great setting to sit back on the verandah, relax with a cold drink an enjoy the bush setting. Close to everything Agnes and 1770 have to offer.

Thanks Paul for the excellent food from the take away out the front. Tim was helpful and was great to refill my camping gas bottle. Price is very reasonable, might be an idea to charge a little extra and plough some money into the facilities. The camp sites are very large, housed my 10 man tent, 6.2m boat and car and still had plenty of room.

Cabins are a bit old but they were pretty clean. Excellent place. Had early check in request. Tim from the caravan park office was extremely helpful and nice. He has helped to check us early and gave a good introduction to the place and around. Tim is legend. Will come back again.

We had a fantastic 5 nights here, and we can’t rate that campground highly enough. We usually are off grid/bush campers and are generally ‘put off’ by campgrounds but this place was fantastic. Our site (65) was perfect, out every window including the roof hatch was an amazing view, the campground was very quiet even though it was very busy, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the amenities VERY clean and the WIFI worked well everywhere! We were very sad to leave this morning.
Thank you so much to the team at Captain Cook Holiday Village, we had such a relaxing time.

Quintesential holiday caravan park. Awesome private access beach with friendly staff and well maintained amenities. Japanese out front is one of the best I have had and is a must !

Great location, plenty of space around, however roads could really need some maintenance with lots of ruts and grooves making towing difficult. Nice short walk to the beach, pool was nice, takeaway available our front.

A massive thank you for the great stay! We had a big warm welcome from the resort manager Tim who took the time to go through the facilities and recommendations on what to do and where to eat in the area. Great location between 1770 and Agnes Water. The sites are spacious and the village is well kept/clean. Tim recommended the Rusty Pelican at sunset...best fish and chips with one of the best views I have seen. Will definitely be back. !

Really lovely park with access to beach, walk or 4x4 track.
We had fish and chips from the cafe which was really good!!
We also had an egg and bacon roll which was amazing!!!
They do Chinese on a Monday night.
There is also a Japanese van but it's cash only so next time will be better prepared.
Great mini golf $5 club hire pp
Lovely pool area.

I've stayed at this park years ago in a cabin, they are basic but very clean and have everything you need for self-catering. Lovely peaceful setting and has access to the beach. Scrub turkeys are in residence and other wildlife, too. It's walking distance downhill to the pub, but there is parking outside there. Also, there is a nice little park now, with tables for a picnic, a recent addition by the looks of it. Opposite the pub. The food there is very good

Excellent easy access hidden away caravan park. Beautiful scenic treed area with great facilities & truly exceptional staff that provide great service to all.
Small amounts of food in the front office... A variety of daily breakfasts & dinners also from the front of the caravan park. Pet friendly park. Highly recommend a visit for short or extended stay.

We spent a week at the Captain Cook Holiday village. We camped then stayed in a Villa for our last night. Unlike ALL other caravan parks in town, there is plenty of shade and they are dog friendly. Management were really accommodating, amenities were clean & accessible. We loved the wildlife around the park and also the walk to the beach. Highly recommend trying the sushi van parked out the front as well. An all round great vibe, pack repellent! The sandflys are relentless around 1770

We had the cabins right at the front on the point at 1770 and they were fantastic!
These weren't inside the park itself FYI

This place was great. Stayed here with my partner and 3 year old. It was absolutely relaxing. Went for a walk to the beach. Our 3 year old was so tired he slept all night and that meant we did to haha. Thanks guys. We will be coming back but probably with the entire tribe of relatives.

What a fantastic place to stay, my family and I stayed for 7 nights in a cabin, sitting out on the balcony each night having a wine listening and watching all the wildlife and birds, our son enjoyed playing putt putt, so close to so many attractions. The cabin is comfortable cooking facilities, basic but clean and comfortable, the staff in the office were very friendly, a very nice quite stop to get away from the busy city life. We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get back to nature. We will definitely be back again. A very beautiful place.

A group of 5 with a large dog across 2 powered sites spent 4 days here during Xmas. Such a lovely campsite, we were near the trail that leads to the surf beach which is only 10-15mins walk away (it was beautiful).

Our site was set amongst plenty of bushland with Kookaburras, Kangaroos and plenty of bush turkeys too. Lovely quiet nights sleep and wonderful to be woken up by the sounds of birds.

Only 20-30mins walk into town and 1770, which was nice to do as we were on holiday and it’s another option if you don’t want to drive everywhere all the time.

The facilities were always kept clean, nice hot showers and clean bathrooms and kitchen area. The staff were friendly and very helpful also! I was so pleasantly surprised by this campsite, especially as it was a busy period.

The only thing we were concerned about was the amount of ants nest across both our sites, however they soon retreated and we used tarp to cover the nests.

I would absolutely recommend this place to stay and I would definitely go back to stay. Also, bonus points for being dog friendly!

Thank you Captain Cook crew, keep up the fabulous work you are doing.

This place is great, staff are friendly and very welcoming. The amenities are always clean and yes the roads are a bit rough but it won't ruin your holiday.

The access to the private beach is really cool and a great little walk. Also you can walk 1km down the road and grab some great fish and chips and enjoy a sunset. We are having a great time here and can't wait to come back.
