Originally had planned for my wedding to be in Albany, I’m living in Mandurah so that’s a 4.5hr drive for every guest, due to it being out of budget and personal reasons occurring we have had to have one local, and drop our budget, we had paid $850 deposit with Albany event hire and $750 worth of deposits with other places,

Even giving this company 6 months notice that we can no longer use them they are refusing to give the deposit back, according to the LAW the payee of deposit must not be withheld a refund if there is no damage to property, the service was not provided or there was a loss of income, we paid the deposit a month ago and they have over 6 months to fill our spot.

Also being told they will only refund us the deposit via phone call if we have a lawyer call them amd state exactly what I have just commented, very disappointed.
