Amazing place! Make an excuse to go here! I went during the end of wet season (big difference in the place in different seasons). Food was splendid with loads to choose and they changed the ingredients in one thing I tried which was brilliant! Accessibility was ok with a regular step to get into the regular Lodge room. Back door was a wide veranda sliding door which was pretty flat. Spotless rooms! Aircon worked great! Plenty of plug sockets in good place. No wifi in the Lodge rooms. Rainfall shower head only. Bit of a walk to the parking areas across grass, and they seemed to fill fast without assigned parking, but if you need help getting about they have a small golf cart, although that has a huge step to get up. Pool had a nice ramp leading down into it, no railing though and with a small step on the edge of the pool. Staff were amazing! Very happy to help in any way possible! I was made to feel very welcome. On site attractions are well worth doing. Small shop at reception has loads of essential items and fuel. 60km drive to closest town of Jabiru. I want to stay here again some day for a different season. Only happy memories of this place.

Cooinda is in an excellent location within Kakadu, and the business operate cruises on Yellow Water. The guide we had was just superb. Pitch perfect commentary, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystem.
Wet stayed in a motel room, but if you want to save a bit of money there's a BBQ you can use, rather than eat at the restaurant there (which is perfectly fine).

Perfect location, set in Kakadu. We stayed in a Lodge Room and the room was cool, comfy and quiet. The property is lovely. The restaurant serves delicious food and really great coffee! Staff are all friendly. Definitely recommend.

This was one of our most amazing holidays. We stayed in the Green Ant or Gabor luxury tent and it was just perfect. The team was amazing and the location is unbelievable. Can't wait to return in 2025.

Such a pretty part of the world. Fabulous pool and surroundings. Maintenance person disconnected our power while we were out and was quite rude when I raised the issue

The staff at Cooinda went over and above for us when we were there for a night and had car trouble. Called in their mechanic, gave us lots of advice, and the general manager Jason even picked up the spare part we needed on his way back from Darwin and didn’t charge us for it! We were blown away by everyone’s kindness and generosity. We stayed in an outback retreat room for one night and the bed was very comfortable, everything clean, great view of the trees, and the AC was just what we needed! The restaurant also had delicious food. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a medium sized powered site for a few nights. The pool is absolutely amazing with heaps of space and different depths, which is great for kids. The jumping pillow, playground were also a hit with the kids. The camp kitchen is minimal but enough. If you want the full resort experience that is available to you. Great grounds and atmosphere. If you've been to El Questro think of that but way less commercialised (even though this is still a commercially run operation for sure ).
Loved it, highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. Bring ear plugs if you aren't used to birds whistling all night. The cabin\tent was pretty luxurious for the middle of a national park, well decked out The coffee is seriously good, better than most boutique city cafes. Friendly staff, great tours.

We had an outback retreat, glamping, which we liked very much. Nicely furnished love for detail, and it had all we needed. Sadly we had only one night. Loved the swimming arear.

A great place to base yourself for the quintessential Kakadu holiday. The food is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the Yellow Waters Billabong is only a short bus ride away.

We had an amazing stay, simply put the facilities top notch, the staff amazing, the location perfect there is nothing I can fault about the place at all, oh maybe one thing you can't go fishing unless you want to get eaten by a croc. We will be going back in the wetseason already booked it. Perfect place to stay in Kakadu as it's right in the middle A+++

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the glamping tent we were in was well appointed. I was especially impressed with the shared amenities space - the cleanliness of the bathroom facilities, the gorgeous Kakadu Organic products to use which were divine and a bathmat on offer which I have never ever seen in a shared amenities space before - a nice touch!

It is really refreshing after a long day to find such a beautiful place to rest. The room was perfect: clean, spacious, had everything you could need. Nearby is a restaurant, also you can reserve some tours.

Jeez the food is better than 30 years ago! Had a great feed, a comfortable stay and a memorable Yellow Waters cruise in the capable hands of boat master Dennis

Brilliant place. In the middle of nowhere, but none the worse for that. Excellent service, good food from a busy restaurant and bar. Simple but very nice rooms, and cool! Lovely shady site. Very nice pool. Nice onsite shop. What's not to like!

Wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely loved the outback retreat bungalows. Great air condition and comfiest bed we slept on during our whole trip!
Amenities block is spotless and well maintained. Pool was amazing as well.
Loved the restaurant and their food. It was the perfect atmosphere to grab a cold beer and watch some outdoor TV after a long, hot day.

Very handy if you want to go to the yellow river cruise. Tourist bus leaves from here. Camp grounds beautiful. Shower block great..laundry good..camp kitchen had no gas cooktop..so used our gas bottle burner instead. Very hot at night...lots of beetles..but its in a huge national park so its expected. Very nice stay.
