Wow what a fabulous experience. So great to see social enterprises operating in the alpine region.
Seeing the indigenous kids smile & laugh is heart warming.
Food & coffee was amazing too.

Lovely hidden place - well worth discovering it! Had the beat cappuccino and fresh raspberries from a local farm.

Beautiful food, cozy atmosphere with kind and welcoming people! I would highly recommend if you're interested in learning about sustainable food, Indigenous youth, art and native bushfoods.

We had brunch at this training cafe, a limited menu, but our different serves of eggs were delicious. Very reasonably priced. The balcony view of the main shopping street Bright is beautiful, the staff friendly. If you are patient this comes highly recommended.

We had a great breakfast experience here. The food was very good, service was friendly and all for a good cause. Will be back again.

We dropped in here for coffee with a group of friends (party of 8) and no prior knowledge of this cafe, we had just spotted the balcony location and thought it would be a nice place to sit. We were surprised to find we were walking into a training facility and perhaps they were a little surprised to find themselves dealing with such a large group. However, it all went well; we all enjoyed our coffees and Dumu balls, and the balcony was a great location. We’ll definitely be calling in again while we’re in Bright.

Really great place! It's upstairs, so you get a nice view and it wasn't crowded like a lot of the other cafès were. I don't know why there weren't more people there, because our food & drinks were excellent! There was an indigenous element to our meals as well, with yummy fruit and dukkah on the side. Plus, the service and prices were excellent too! Altogether... well worth a visit! 😁

Great service, great food, great drinks, great aesthetic and love the view from the balcony and they have local ingredients to purchase and they give young people a fair crack at learning new skills. Definitely would recommend coming here

Our best experience in Bright by miles. Dumu Balcony Cafe is a wonderful social enterprise that provides great opportunities for indigenous youth.

It’s the first time could say when asked where we am were from we could say ‘we are from Dja Dja Wuurung land’ and be understood.

So friendly and happy to have a chat and tell us about their home, their land and their experiences.

Just loved this place. Best balcony cafe in the world.

It's hard to beat the spacious upstairs balcony on a sunny day. Excellent food and coffee. The house gnocchi is a real treat!

The food was just lovely and coffee pretty good too. You might have to wait a bit but that's true of lots of places.
