I’m only going to speak about the food as I’ve never stayed here.
First thing I can say is: Go!
I’m lucky enough to be able to come to Austria several times a year and every time we do, we eat at least once here and it has NEVER disappointed!
The food is incredible, here you will find the set menu for new year’s evening and it was absolutely fantastic!
For starters we had a perfect egg with a horseradish and a truffle emulsion.
The starter was a consommé soup that was, in its own “simpler” way, as delicious.
The main dish was a perfectly cooked rare duck breast with pommes dauphine, chestnut, apple and wild brocoli.
The desert was a white chocolate pavlova of a kind accompanied by mandarine sorbet and a nice combination of raspberry and what seemed to be mandarine skin curd.
Every single dish was unique in its own ways and always offered a delicious balance of sweet, sour, bitter and savoury!
The service is familiar and friendly, so is the atmosphere and the surroundings!
As said, I’m lucky to come here often and it has never disappointed, the schnitzel is amazing, the cordon bleu is divine, the fish is always a big hit, the chicken and pumpkin seed is my partners favourite…
I couldn’t recommend it more so trust me on this one, just go!

The restaurant is stellar, can't comment on the hotel. From complex Asian fusion bowls to simple traditional Austrian dishes... impeccable quality, great taste and textures. They also have interesting lemonades. Maybe not quite 5-star service but still overall a wonderful experience.

Top 3 of the best restaurant around the wolfgangsee. We almost taste all of them between salzburg and Bad ishl but this restaurant stay definitly the best ! Everything is really fresh home made. An harmony between tradition and modern kitchen ! The knodel are the best I ever taste (not to dry and perfectly smooth) and kurbis panier schnitzle and topfen nougat knodel stay my really favorite meal on earth ! Thanks to the team to stay at the top since 15 years and to keep sharing them magical food 💫💫💫

Stopped here for lunch! Really great food, great outdoor seating. Perfect for families with kids as they have a little play area right next to the outdoor seating.

Came for a family meal after a day in the lake. Wonderful location and atmosphere; very traditionally Austrian. Menu was fairly small, but the quality of the food was superb.

This restaurant is fantastic - big portions of delicious food, nice ambience and most importantly super friendly and helpful staff. Don't miss this place when in the area!

Sehr netter Gasthof, gute Lage und angemessener Preis. Unkompliziertes Personal, dass allen Sonderwünschen nachkommt. Saubere Zimmer mit neuem Badezimmern und schöner Aussicht. Besonders für Familien gut geeignet, weil man von der Terrasse und von der Gaststube aus den tollen Spielplatz im Blick hat. Einzig das Frühstück könnte etwas vielfältiger und qualitativ hochwertiger sein. In Summe aber eine klare Empfehlung für den Wiesenhof.

Essen oder übernachten oder beides geht wunderbar in diesem Gasthof! Zimmer alles was man braucht, und kulinarisch wird man verwöhnt, da waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Großer Außenbereich zum sitzen und verweilen.

Ausgezeichnet!!! Möchte mal etwas negatives sagen (🙃), in diesem Fall, nicht möglich..... Schönes gepflegtes Lokal, wo man beim hineingehen, sehr freundlich( gefühlsmäßig nicht aufgesetzt) begrüßt wird...der Juniorchef zeigt uns das große Gastzimmer, das sehr gemütlich ist und ich habe den Platz beim Kamin ergattert...(Super, man bekommt keine Schweisausbrüche, nur angenehm, überhaupt in dieser Jahreszeit)von den Getränken ...bis zu Essensbestellung , nichts zu bemängeln....der Juniorboss nimmt sich Zeit u beantwortet alle unsere Fragen..weiter gehts in dieser Art...die Speisen kommen, schnell und warm u gleichzeitig u das wichtigste, sie schmecken , auch ausgezeichnet!!! Vom Aperitif übers Bier, alkoholfreie Getränke, die Speisen....die Nachspeisen....es gäbe nichts wirklich zu bemängeln....sie(Wirtsleute) so glaube ich , stehen auch auf alte Dinge,die sie liebevoll in Szene setzten....Österreichische Wirtshauskultur,so wie man sich es vorstellt...(Preise, für einen Tourismusort wirklich moderat)..Ein Besuch lohnt sich u man kann sich dann selbst überzeugen.....

Der Wiesenhof, ein Ort wo man gerne verweilt, ganz so, als wäre man bei guten Freunden. Hervorragende Köche, freundliche und zuvorkommend Bedienung und immer noch angemessene Preise. Und zuletzt das Essen: es werden regionale und überregionale Speisen, von außerordentlicher Qualität serviert. Ich kann nur sagen, ein Besuch lohnt sich zu hundert Prozent. Heute 16.03 2024 wieder besucht, alles wie immer, hervorragend!

Wie immer wird man zuvorkommend und herzlich empfangen und mit einer freundlichkeit bedient. Zum Essen es ist immer hervorragend und köstlich. Da merkt man das es ein Familienbetrieb ist und man fühlt sich wie Zuhause.

Hochwertige regionale und saisonale Küche. Liebvoll eigerichtetes Ambiente. Freundlicher Service. Angemessene Preise. Ein Familienbetrieb der sich Mühe gibt. Sehr empfehlenswert. 👍🏼
