Excellent local food in ample portions and exceptionally friendly service. We really enjoyed our lunch here, the welcoming atmosphere and the cozy surroundings.

We'd walk many miles/km to visit here again! Views, menu choices, and great friendly staff - excellent place to visit. Soup, big plate for 2 & strudel were awesome.

When you are first up the valley on New Year's Day, what a beautiful surprise to find this Mountain Chalet, Restaurant & Bar open for a refreshing break. The family are great and with the Lederhosen on, we were very well looked after.

Well worth the walk and nice to see the horses and horse drawn carts heading up the pass as we trundled down.

Also now knowing the story about Krampus, it makes these intricate and interesting masks all make sense.

Lovely place to relax after a long hike, with delicious Apfelstrudel and great views.

Great place for food and drink. Just be careful in winter as the road can be icy walking there.

Service can be slow if you go there with people. But they just got soups to offer. Other than that, nice valley with views.
