Stubnerkogel Suspension Bridge

I had this amazing experience of walking on that high suspension bridge. It looks so scary to walk on from outside, but it’s really easy and feels really good. I’d highly recommend to take that experience if you visited the Stubnerkogel mountain top.

Fantastic panoramic view of the Gastein mountain range and a scenic trail with a great view of the valleys. You can reach here via the cable car next to Bad Gastein train station. Also possible to get off at the first stop of the cable 🚠 car and hike up rest of the way.

Excellent view on sunny day. Winter or summer, the view is breathtaking. Really worth while visiting when you are in Bad Gastein

Nice place to walk arround and explore. Breathtaking views 360 degrees. Located next to the top Stubnerkogel cable cart top station which has restaurant and bar to warm up rest and have a meal. The restairant also has free wifi.

Second time visit. Its fun, beautiful views, the bridge moves a little, so not great for people that are afraid of heights There is a camera that you can activate by your skipass and download online, but the photo is not clear. I totally recommend.

Loved it, and that you can access without paying too. If you want one of their photos you can arrange that, and I think it will be a great shot, but you can just walk on yourself and take your own photo too.

It's a place to visit definitely. We were there during summer so everywhere was green and the sun shining over the huge valleys. The suspension bridge is so well done that it's not frightening at all 😁. The scenes are simply splendid with their cows, valleys, horses etc. A cool breeze was flowing over the mountains which refreshed the air.

Amazing view, on the way back, we got off at the middle stop and went on foot — just stunned, two hours of wildlife, fine, there is a parking site, and at the top there is a restaurant with hot soups! the children liked it.

Beautiful! Just a tip ! Don’t take a trein to way back ! You’ll be in the tunnel! Won’t able to see anything till 400m close to the station.
I recommend you take cables car again.

It was very windy when i was up there but either way i got some good pictures and it was a fun experiencr to walk across the suspension bridge i was defineltly worth the money that i spent on getting up here would definetly recommend 5/5 i think its better ro go here during summer if you dont plan to ski which i also did and it was a lot of fun would also recommend 5/5 also grab something to eat at the resturant at the top

Bit slippery underfoot but awesome photograph opportunities of the valley. Great place for a family photo. If you're walking just don't leave it too late in case you miss the last lift. The ski down from here is awesome. The restaurant here is well-used, but in a good way especially in the sunshine. Do need to remember that the last lift down is before 4pm if you are a walker or like us a tired skier that wants a relaxing ride down when the legs a burning.

Not as scary as some state. Very stable bridge and wonderful views. Shorter than I thought it would be.
