Tam Coc Minh Hung Homestay

Great place for peaceful and relax, just in front of the rice fields, for feeling the countryside of Vietnam. Very close from Tam Coc town. Managed by Hung and his family, very kind when sharing their place with the guests. The breakfast was very good, homemade. The rooms very clean and comfortable. The place decorated very gorgeous.
We would like to return in the future, and will recommend to our friends for sure.

The location was absolutely gorgeous nestled in the rice fields and mountains. The pool area was pretty and well cared for. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to enjoy space, would have loved to stay longer and explore all the beauty.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tam Coc Minh Hung Homestay and had the most memorable time there while we were in Vietnam. We stayed at one of their bungalows and the view is amazing! Hung was very helpful and accommodating with our request. He arranged our scooter rental and our taxi to the airport even if it's Tet festival when rides are hard to find. We even received lucky money after the fireworks! Would recommend this place for couples who want to unplug from the busy city life, and those who like peace and quite and enjoy the nature. Thank you!

Had a very nice time here. Good basic breakfast, awesome view, located in a quiet area. They have bikes that you can rent out for free so that you can visit the area. I would definitely come back again :)

Absolutely loved our stay at this place! Room is huge, clean, and modern. But the best bit is the VIEW! You wake up to see the beautiful landscape of Tam Coc… priceless.

The published rates include daily breakfast. They also offer motorbike rental for an affordable rate.

Originally planned to stay here for 3 nights - ended up staying for 5 since we loved it so much! Very peaceful area, rooms were comfortable and lovely pool area to hang out with an amazing view. Our favourite part was Lou, the cutest little fluffy dog 🥹

This place is perfect for those who want to have a peaceful stay in the middle of rice terrace. As one can see in the photos, the place has got Bungalows well decorated and surrounded by trees. They offer bicycles and one can rent motorbike at a very cheap price. The restaurants are just 1-2 km from this place where one can have all sorts of food (western, Indian, Vietnamese, etc) . The rooms are clean and well maintained and provides all sorts of basic facilities as mentioned. The owners are very helpful and they were available all the time. Their son (Hung) can communicate in English and helps with all sorts of transfers or places to eat/ visit in Ninh Binh. We arrived around 05:30 AM in the morning and they arranged a room for half day price. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Tam Coc Minh Hung Homestay. The family running the place are nice and kind. We got the bungalow with King size bed overlooking the swimming pool , garden and beautiful rice fields. It’s so peaceful that we were able to relax. We highly recommend this homestay!

The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is clean as well. We had a very pleasant stay here. Despite that the homestay being a little bit far from tam coc center (around ~1.5km), the view from the back of the homestay is stunning, you will see the limestone formations plus you can also walk along the rice paddies around the area. If you want to go to the center, they offer motorbike rental as well for a very affordable price. Last but not the least, the owner Hung was very friendly and welcoming. He speaks good English as well so communicating was a breeze.

Really great hotel with scenic view, surrounded by rice paddy. Breakfast was also amazing. The owner was super friendly and offered to drive us to the main town (for a small fee) as there were no GRAB available.

Awesome homestay for the few nights we were there. Kind staff and the guy we dealt with spoke English very well. Also helped us get to our shuttle on our last day. 10/10 would recommend anyone travelling to Tam Coc to stay here! Great pool and breakfast too. Cheap moped rental!!

Absolutely lovely Homestay, just outside of Tam Coc, by the rice fields. The rooms are clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a lovely pool and rent out scooters. We extended our stay because it was so nice.

Awesome scenery! We had a great room, nice pool with a stunning view of the mountains surrounding the hotel. It’s very quiet and relaxing but your just a 5 minutes drive away from the centre. Also, the staff is really friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend staying here!!

Nice friendly staff and family. Beautiful setting on the outskirts of town. We used free bicycles and rented moped one day. Enjoyed our stay.

We cannot recommend this place enough! The family are just the kindest people. They do not speak English, but are always smiling and wanting to help! The views are just stunning! Comfy bed and lovely pool. They have free bikes for you to use too, 10 mins to the local restaurants!

Stayed here for three nights. The homestay is in a beautiful area just outside of town. The family is wonderful. They have free bikes available, as well as motorbikes for rent. Would gladly stay here again and definitely recommend them to everyone!

Really lovely homestay! Very friendly family lives here and are super helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Pool is really well maintained and incredible views of rice terraces and mountains while
swimming. Great breakfast too! 15 min walk into main tourist area in TamCoc.

My family loved staying at this peaceful B&B just a 10-15 minute walk on small roads through rice fields to the main street in Tam Coc. The homestay sits with a small group of houses but all the views from the room and dining area look out to beautiful open space and limestone karsts, so it felt quiet and tranquil. The family owners arranged for our transport from the Ninh Binh train station to their place and were easily contacted via WhatsApp. They also helped us with transportation to Trang An and other local sights, being very up-front with cost.

They have 4 first-come-first-serve bikes for guests which we used to get to and from town and ride around the fields. The bikes don’t adjust and are probably most comfortable for people between 5’ and 5’6 or so; they are still usable for taller people. Our younger kid (age 7) rode on the rear rack.

The weather was cool during our stay so we didn’t use the pool much, but we appreciated that it was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was simple and yummy (banana pancakes, or stir-fried noodles). The family arranged for same-day laundry service, 40k VND per kilo.

I would absolutely recommend this place to travelers looking for a peaceful, bucolic stay in the Ninh Binh area.

I would say this was probably my favorite place I stayed at during my time in Vietnam. I was looking for something lowkey near nature and Tam Coc Minh Homestay fit the bill. The location is serene since you are surrounded by limestone cliffs and rice paddies. Nothing beats waking up to that view tbh. The family is really friendly. I felt like I was staying at a cool relative's house. Hung (the son) was very responsive whenever I had a question. He was able to book a bus to Hanoi Airport for me! They do motorbike rentals as well and I would highly suggest renting one if you have no other means of getting around since the homestay is a little off the path. Room was spacious, clean, and had a/c. Would definitely stay here again!

The owner very responsive and helpful. We arrived late and requested pick up from bus station. Morning wake up with beautiful scenery. Only the breakfast need to improve. They have motorbike rental as well that make our trip more convenient.
