Lots of traditional goat dishes to choose and just a matter of choosing one to you liking. We had no idea what to pick and order random dishes including fried goat ribs sprinkled with different spices, fried goat with lemon grass, stir fried sweet potato leaf and rice. The restaurant also provided side dishes including pickled local figs, rice paper, fresh herbs and dipping sauces. Very popular with the local crowd and tourists. It's a must.

We had a wonderful dinner here during our stay in Ninh Binh. I love goat but it is hard to find at home in the USA. This restaurant, like many others in this area specialize in goat dishes. Back home sometimes goat can be on the gamey side, but everything we had here was so fresh and tasty, no gamey flavor at all. The fried goat ribs were the star dish, but the burnt rice with goat porridge was also excellent. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. One word of caution we ordered the rice wine which was only 20k dong (approximately 80 cents US dollar) while the wine was tasty and fairly smooth it is obviously locally made as it comes in a recycled 500ml water bottle we drank a little more than half the bottle and had a hard time walking back to our home stay a couple km away. When we ordered the rice wine, we asked for two thinking it was a small serving due to the price, luckily the waitress said "ohh no, only one" in broken english, that saved our night.

Good and tasty mountain goat meat with an excellent local bean sauce.

IMHO, a group of 4 or bigger is recommended as 1 dish contains lots of meats.

Recommend the “Stir fried goat” dish

The front of the restaurant is under construction so it's a bit confused to find the place. The staff helped guiding us inside. Overall, the staffs are friendly and the food is great. Recommended 2 dishes "De tai chanh" and "De ap chao" and they are both very delicious! The sauce is phenomenal! Love it!

We had an excellent time here. It was really crowded but the staff was very attentive and fast, we got our first dish in less than 10 minutes. Everything was absolutely delicious and the prices were surprisingly cheap. If you sit at the back yard you’ll get a good view of the ⛰ right next to the water 🏞. You can also order takeaways after the meal. Definitely coming back again.

I liked this restaurant. I came here because of recommendation of the local. Most of local people know it and many people told me to ckme here. The goat meat was awesome, especially the sauce. The price is low. You can easily find way to this restaurant.

Recommended by locals so we come here to give it a try and are so much satisfied with food and landscape surrounding by small lake with lotus

Very good restaurant serving goat in lots of different ways. We were taken here by a local couple who we met in Ninh Binh. We loved it so much we went back the next day.

Stop by here if you want authentic food in this region. It was the only place we visited in the area full of locals rather than westerners.

The place was quite crowded when we went there but we were the only tourists - good sign if you're looking for authentic local food. The "lemon goat meat" was really good, but the "burnt rice" is my favourite. 4 stars (ok food, didn't blow my mind) +1 because of the prices.

We loved the lemon goat meat. The burned rice and broth were delicious! We order fried corn (not in the English menu). Just point out and they will bring it. A bit pricey but it was worth it.

The local restaurant with goat meat

Had a traditional dish with goat meat from Ninh Binh. Restaurant owner came and offered a shot of some homebrewed alcohol. All in all a great experience. They were all so welcoming and talkative.
