Tam Coc Lion Kings Hotel & Resort

We had a wonderful stay in Tam Coc in the waterfront bungalow. The room was even nicer than the pictures, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet options and the spa services are excellent despite being inexpensive. So good, we had spa every day of our stay!

The only thing is the bungalows are thatched, and that means that unwanted guests nest in them. Not a huge deal but it was loud enough that it kept us up. Staff was great and moved us to another bungalow right away

Would happily stay again and highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The receptionist is very helpful organising taxis and excursions. She understands and speaks English very well.

The free bicycles was a great way to move around and explore the town.

Wonderful experience for two nights, 3 days. Staff are extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was bigger than expected, had a lovely balcony and beautiful view. Great selection for breakfast. We availed of the free bikes for all of our time spent in the area and explored many beautiful places. We took a night time bus to Sapa on our last day and the staff kindly offered us a room to shower and change before our bus. Amazing hospitality and excellent value for money. Thank you :)

We stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and everything worked. The hotel itself is in a peaceful location but quite close to the town centre. The staff were warm and helpful. Ms Dzung helped us plan our itinerary. On the last day, as we had to very early, they opened the breakfast service early so that we could eat before checking out. Would recommend staying here.

Stayed a few nights. We were given a map with details on everything to do in the area with prices too. Our room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast food was great with a variety of options. It has a pool table as well. You can hire motorbikes from here for 150,000 per day. They also organised our bus to Ha Long Bay for us. Great service and great location too - very peaceful 😄

My family stayed here 2 nights and we love it. The rooms are clean, roomy with beautiful scenery. The decor fits with old school charm (ie colonial french style) and the town. It's close to many restaurants and local shop. Quite convenient. The staffs are friendly and very attentive. Best of all, the price is very reasonable. I would come back here and highly recommended to anyone who comes to Tam Coc.

Great hotel with a very friendly staff. Our overnight bus dropped us off very early in the morning, around 4:30am, and even though we only booked for the next day, we were allowed to stay in the lobby an at 6:30am they already had a room available for us. We also where allowed to have breakfast without additional payment. Also Ms Dzung gave us a lot of info and tips on what to do and how to get around. Amazing stay and staff!

We had a great time at Tam Coc. The hotel was really nice and located in a quiet part of Tam Coc. The front desk was great. Ms Dzang was really helpful. She organized a vehicle for us on day 1 and motorbikes on day 2. The hotel had free bikes which was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing, they treated us very well. They are very professional, kind and helpful all the time. We enjoyed our stay, we were sleeping in a bungalow and we totally recommend it. Thanks to Ms. Dzung and Ms. Nguyen, we felt very welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were clean, staff was very courteous and food was great. We had free cycles to go around and special thanks to Ms. Dzung for her patience in helping us with planning our day here. She also was extremely helpful in our many last minute requests.

The hotel is super comfortable, and the facilities are very good too.
Also it have a very good breakfast, and the price is completely affordable.
Finally, the front desk of the hotel have very nice people, they solved all our needs, including renting bikes and bicycles, booking our bus to the next city, and showing us things to do in Ninh Bihn.
Also they let us stayed in the pool after the check out time, and offer us a shower to use before taking the bus.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with a nice garden and a pool (we didn't used). We booked a superior room but got a free upgrade to a bungalow, which was very nice. Room was spacious and everything was clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and helped a lot with explaining the locations to see in the area. We ended up renting a motorbike and drove to all the locations ourself. Finally the staff booked us a train to Hue and arranged a taxi to the trainstation. Would recommend this place!

I don’t usually write online review, but this hotel really deserves it!

Yesterday, upon early arrival of night bus from Sapa which is still 6am, they provide us room to have a good rest before start to explore the city 😭 They even let us to provide the passport after we wake up, then after wake up they also let us have breakfast eventhough our check in time still later on that afternoon.

Today after we checkout and explore more of Ninh Binh, they still offer us a nice shower. We’re really touched by their kindness and hospitality. They really went above and beyond!

We’ve traveled all around the world, and never ever found any hotel/accomodation like this ❤ Eventhough the location quite far from some attractions, but the surroundings really pretty and peaceful. We’ll forever remember this, and recommend Tam Coc Lion Kings Hotel to anyone visiting Ninh Binh.

Everyone on the staff was super helpful and friendly during our time here. On arrival, they gave us an overview of the area and how to get to the locations via bike, motorbike, or taxi. We ended up walking to town a couple of times instead of biking (there were plenty of bikers) and it took about 30 minutes. The only sounds you'll hear at night and in the morning are of nature and maybe a few chickens too. We had a nice view of the pond from our bungalow and plenty of space in the room.

Amazing rooms equipped with a balcony that gives you one of the most picturesque views.

Good food, great service. Special mentions to the receptionist Zum ( pronounced "zoom", excuse the spelling ) who was extremely helpful and guided us with tips on the places to visit, what to not miss and what to avoid.

Location is perfect for cycling nearby and visiting a few sightseeing spots.

We had a great time at the hotel. Really clean room with a lot of space and an amaaaazing view. Breakfast was really good, too. But the very best was the friendly girl Dzung from the reception. She organized an unforgettable sightseeing trip wirh a really nice driver. She also offered us, that we could still leave the luggage after checkout, use the bikes and even have another shower in the evening before getting on the bus. The whole team was really nice, but she was definetly outstanding. Thanks for everything 😊

Great place to stay for exploring the Tam Coc area. Nicely located between the town and some of the amazing sites nearby. The staff at the resort where super friendly (especially Ms Dzung) and provided us with bikes and directions so we could explore the beautiful scenery on our own. I would highly recommend staying here.
