Ninh Bình Bamboo Farmstay

So glad we stayed here! Everyone working here was so nice and accommodating. The central area had a cozy feeling and the dogs were friendly and love attention. The food was amazing and we ate here for breakfast and dinner the whole 3 days we stayed. Just be mindful that you would need to rent a scooter which they have available on the property. Can’t recommend this place enough for budget travellers looking for a quiet and relaxed place in the countryside to stay around Ninh Binh.

The hosts were so kind and helpful, they provide laundry service, motorbike rental and free breakfast with the room. They have a restaurant open til 9pm for lunch and dinner too with very good portions. The room was clean and the shower was hot.

They have a small shop to buy snacks and drinks and a pool table, as well as plenty of outdoor seating, sofas, and hammocks.

The highlight of our stay had to be the three lovely dogs they have there which made it feel very homely.

You can book onward bus travel directly here and they even gave us a lift into town to catch our bus. Would love to return one day.

This place was such fantastic value for money! And probably my favourite place we have stayed in Vietnam so far. The dogs here are amazing and we will miss them so much. The hosts go above for anything you need. It’s quite far out so you definitely need a bike to make the most of the gorgeous location. 30 mins ish to both tam coc and ninh binh. They offer motorbike rental for 130,000 VND a day. They also have laundry service for 30,000 VND per kg. Full food and breakfast menu which was divine. We ate here a lot. Breakfast included with our room. They sell all types of drinks / snacks / fruit at the reception. Overall a very chilled and comfortable stay, I wish to return!!

Spent a memorable one night here. Food by Ang and company are delicious home-cooked meals, even the brewed mulberry rượu gạo. Conveniently five to ten minutes by motorbike to Bái Đính Temple, about 20 minutes to Trang An boat tours. Wonderful and delightful amenities and as expected at a farmstay, rooms are basic. Hospitality from the staff is warm and accommodating, plus dogs are friendly and cute. Thank you!

The place is so wonderful. It is exactly a farm with beautiful landscape and corn fields. It is a good place for you to experience the countryside of Vietnam where you can live with nature. Especially, I love the dogs so much. They are so friendly and always welcome us anytime we come back. The landlord is so nice and helpful. In this place, we feel like our home not only a place to visit. Although it is far from the central of Ninh Binh, it is worth to travel a far distance to enjoy your journey.

Very nice owners. Exceptional for that price. They offer all you need. Should rent a scooter or get a bike since it is pretty far away from Trang an and the tourist places, but very close to Bai Dinh pagoda. Rooms are comfortable, ideal for backpackers.

We had such a wonderfull stay. The hosts are so nice, hospitable and helpfull. The food is great, taste and price. The roomd are clean and the outside seating area is so relaxing. Very much recommend. Thank you again!

Loved it here -- they were very helpful and upgraded our room from a double to 2-double bungalow for free upon arrival as a nice surprise.

The food is mostly Vietnamese and made fresh. I ordered the salad and he picked the lettuce for it from his garden 20 metres away! Very fresh. They have really good fruit pancakes for 40k.

We're vegan and I'm gluten free and they were happy to accommodate to our diets (there were other guests that ordered food off menu too and they were happy to do accommodate them as well.) There's drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks for purchase.

The beds are firm (typical for Vietnam,) and the pillows and blankets are very cushy. Really clean and great showers -- hot and great water pressure.

They have scooters (130k) and bikes (50k) for rent with good helmets.

Really great customer service -- on check out day they drive us to the bus stop for free and he waited 25 minutes with us and made sure the bus driver knew where we were getting off.

This place is good families too. Close to attractions and beautiful scenery.

Clean room, the host is super friendly and the location is more convenient, near Bai Dinh pagoda. They have the fresh fruit garden with variety of fruits.

We were welcomed very warmly after a long bike ride and absolute fell in love with this place. If you like dogs, good food and nature, you are on the right adress. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

The bamboo farmstay is a really beautiful and relaxing place. If you want to escape from the crowds I would definitely recommend to go here. Be aware that this place is not in Tam Coc, but at a distance from tourist attractions and restaurants. However this is just what we wanted. Everything is within distance when you rent a motorbike. Next to that I would suggest the farmstay to add some more vegetarian options to the menu.

My daughters and I stay at the Bamboo Farmstay. It was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable and the amenities clean and sufficient. They have a restaurant too which served very nice food at good prices - all with a lovely view. In addition, they offer a laundry service which we were very thankful to use. There are bikes offered to guests for free - which we used to visit the local sights. All in all - a fabulous experience. Thank you to the friendly and efficient staff at Ninh Binh Bamboo Farmstay.

We had a great staying in the place with my girlfriend. The family who runs the place is super nice and friendly, you can tell they make a big effort in taking care of the guests.
Little far from the city, but if you rent a motorcycle you will enjoy the calmness of the place.

A great place to stay in Ninh Binh. I had a motorbike and the location made seeing the natural areas around the west of Ninh Binh very easy to get to. I stayed here 4 nights, and wanted to stay longer. A yard of unique stone tables and bamboo swings make it nice to snejoy the garden and fruit trees. Big, private clean cabins with nice showers inside. The family dinner was always so delicious and plenty of food. Great coffee! Every evening we would return from a long day and the sight of the nearby pagoda in lights on the water is stunning. I love this place!

Very good food, friendly, english speaking owners, we really enjoyed it! Also great to visit places nearby with bicycle (temple, mua caves etc.)

The room was really super, the place is located in the middle of nowhere but they have a scooter rental service. The food was a problem for us, cause we are vegetarian and tjere wasn't lot of choise, but its a common problems here in vietnam. I want suggest to the owners to improve the menu.

Good value with a great breakfast. Nice menu with normal local prices. The best part though is the family that live here! 3 months in SEA staying in guest houses/ homestays and haven't felt more welcomed than we did here.

Beautiful accommodation with most welcoming host... We had the 'family dinner' every night and it was always a bit different. The host puts so much effort and love into this place. Would have loved to stay longer.

Fantastic stay here! Our room was very clean and the sheets where soft. Very helpful staff, great food (try the fried pork) and super lovely overall. Would stay here again!
