Aravinda Resort Ninh Binh

My family had a great time at Aravinda, We plan to come back soon. Tet holiday is comming, the hotel was full fill by decoration of Tet. My children like it a lot and take a million of picture around.

The wife and I spent 2 nights here.
The staff were great and very welcoming.
The location is quiet and peaceful.
It’s not too far from restaurants and attractions.
The views from this location are stunning.
Free pedal bikes to ride and a small fee to rent a motorcycle.

Can highly recommend this hotel. We stayed there for a week and it was the best. Nice staff, amazing surroundings and we just felt so welcome.

If you want a calm vacation close to beautiful nature, this is the place :))

OMG, the view from this place is fantastic! If you want a nice break from the city, I highly recommend this place. It was off-season when I checked in, so I was the only one staying at the resort, but I didn't receive any less from the staff. Great place!

This is a five star resort tucked away in Ninh Binh. It will always hold a special place in my heart, as my wife and I stayed here for our elopement. The accommodations are luxury, the staff attentive, and the food delicious. We are vegan, and while the breakfast for vegans was basic (bring some peanut butter and you’ll be set), there are ample options for dinner which we would be happy to be served in a fancy restaurant (our favorite being the bean curd spring rolls). Omnivores and vegetarians will also be pleased by the extensive menu and well-trained kitchen. For our elopement the staff went so far as to scatter our bed with roses and set up a candlelight dinner by the pool. There are a ton of bicycles available to pedal into the small town 5kms away, so no need to rely on a taxi while you’re here. Thank you, Aravinda, for making our marriage so special. I hope that people continue to support this picturesque vista of a resort.

They serve decent food...

We had an amazing stay at the Aravinda Resort. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and wonderfully designed, and the people could not be friendlier and more helpful. They were extremely responsive via email before our trip, and everyone bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We particularly enjoyed getting to use the complimentary bicycles to explore the surrounding area. We are already very excited to find an excuse to come back to this magical place!

Very close to the bird valley, which is a treat. You can go to most of the famous spots of Ninh Binh from here. The room is very well designed and furnished.
We came during the post quarantine time so the place is really nice and quiet.

Although the price is rather high, food is not really recommended but great local restaurants are right at the end of the road.

The resort is small but very well designed resort and rooms. Service was good and friendly but a bit slow. Food was surprisingly good, we recommend dining here. Location is very close to Thung Nham, you can borrow bikes to ride to Thung Nham. Overall highly recommend!

Really nice place. Staff is super polite, garden is beautiful and the pool is really nice with the view to the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend that ;)

Heaven on Earth!

Let's start off with the fact that Tam Coc is amazing, at last, a relaxing atmosphere.

We ordered the lotus classic room for 2 nights, and in the last minute contacted the hotel to change the dates, they only had the higher category(Countryside Deluxe) available for the dates. We decided to upgrade and not lose the opportunity to be there.

On the first night we had a problem with the bath, which we couldn't fill, because the stream was too weak and not hot. We asked the reception manager to assist us. The day after, Nigha (reception manager) told us they are moving us to a higher category room (Valley Field Executive) which is basically the same room, only bigger. This evening we managed to use the bath :)
Because we enjoyed the stay so much, we decided to book another night (3rd) in lowest category, at the end of the day when asking the staff when should we move, they told us to stay in the same room, because they don't want to bother us with moving (now that's what I call good service)

What else can I say...

The resort's architecture is amazing, beautiful rooms, great amenities, best breakfast in Vietnam in my opinion (only the coffee is not good at all - you might wanna bring your own).

Oh yeah, and there's this nice ritual every evening, that when you leave the room, house keeping comes in, make up your bed, placing a story on the bed, and lights the aroma lamp (lemongrass oil).
I gotta say I loved it. :)

The resort is located in the most relaxing location, outside of tam coc town, 5 min scooter ride(120k p/day from hotel), or 10 min bicycle ride(provided free! by hotel).

The hotel's resraurant is also very recommended (twice we forgot that it's about to close, and the kept it open for at least an hour just for us), we tried the banana blossom salad, the stir fried Chicken, Papaya Salad and the Pho - all were very delicious.

The staff was amazing! opening the doors, bowing and always smiling and happy to assist in what ever we needed. Only down side, it seems like only some of the staff knows English, luckily the ones who do, kind of there 24/7 so whenever we had problem communicating with someone there was someone else to help.

Hope you will get the experience as we did.

This is a 5 stars review with some caveats.

The positive: Aravinda is a stunning hotel some 10 mins drive (and 20 mins bike) from the center of Tam Coc. If youn strike good weather the pool is amazing. The breakfast is simple but delicious. Some of the staff will also bend over backwards to make you happy.

The negative: Some of the facilities are not as published - the spa is closed and there is no Yoga. Everything is expensive by Vietnamese standards -- the restaurant (while delicious) is one of the most expensive we've been to in Vietnam. The rooms are OK but nothing more than that - the more expensive bungalows are not worth the hefty extra charge.

Despite the downsides this was a terrific stay in a relaxing and beautiful spot. A relaxing Haven in the very touristy spot that is Tam Coc. Generally reccomended.

Cute and family-style small resort with modern amenities, a nice pool, environmental focus and tasty breakfast. It’s a bit outside town but worth it.
