Tam Coc Bungalow

This was one of the best stay in our Vietnam trip. This property surrounded with mountain . Quiet and secluded property. Owner Linda is really helpful .everything is very close to nature .Beautiful flowers and in addition it was like butterfly garden (we saw beautiful varieties of 🦋n best part was lotus pond .well maintained property. Loved this stay. Would love to visit once again in future.

We loved this place so much we added an extra night. It's peaceful and the gardens are beautiful. Love the location, it's a stone's throw to the Tam Coc river and a few hundred meters to the main strip. The family who owns the place is so great and the breakfast is delightful. Thank you!

My best friend and I only meant to stay in tam coc for two nights but once we got there we fell in love with the halong of the land and stayed a week and Christmas there !!!! Staying in the hostel made this trip even better. Not only is it just a bike ride away from amazing scenic views but the dorm rooms are the nicest I have ever stayed in with duvets that make you never want to leave your bunk which is perfect for the colder winter nights. If you can afford the small extra price the private bungalows are also beautiful and allow you to still enjoy the hostel vibe with a little slice of peacefulness too. We did this for Christmas day and it really made our time from home extra magical !!!

The host family in particular Sam and his brother were so welcoming and you really feel like it's a home not a hostel. They made christmas day away from home truly special !!! The food and drinks there are a great price and so much nicer than many of the hostels we have stayed in. The breakfast in particular was mouth watering and with a lot of variation at no extra cost.

Also I want to make a special mention that contrary to some of the reviews I have seen, at no point did anyone actively push us towards going on their trips at the desk. On the contrary Sam and the team were very honest saying where you can get to by bike without paying tour prices so you can travel on a budget but also advised on the best times of day to ensure you enjoyed your time wisely to see the most of the area.

Honestly can't say enough positive things about the family and this beautiful hostel. We are coming back to stay next year and hope to stay as long as possible!!!!

Everything was perfect. I took a rest for 4days in this peaceful Hotel thanks to super kind and accommodating host and his family. The room and restroom were clean and cozy. They also offer delicious breakfast. I strongly recommend honey and lemon ginger tea as well as bread with mango jam which was so nice.

I stayed the last 3 nights and loved it. Very good Location. Shops, Restaurants and Cafés just 3 min away. In the other way 3 min to be in nature and silence. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good service! Rooms are modern and clean. I will come back here!

Our hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The home stay is family owned. Truly a nice and serene place to stay. Breakfast is complimentary with an option to select food and two drinks.

They offer laundry services, motorcycle rentals, transportation services etc.

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and very clean with comfortable beds. There was an awesome pool and they had complimentary bikes to take out for the day. Its also in a prime location near the bars and restaurants with easy access to sightseeing. Overall is was everything I would expect from an upscale western hotel.

Very nice place to stay in Tam Coc. Wonderful people and sweet welcome when we arrived. The bungalows are stand alone so nice and quite. The pool was great!

This place is so good
Best location right on the river. All the staff are amazing super friendly and the beers are so cold. The pool is located right at the bottom of a cliff

So peaceful and quiet place, in a wonderful setting. We had an hotel switch at the last minute and we don’t regret it one second.
The amenities are good, bed is comfy, and there is even a mosquito net.
But the best part of this hotel is the owner and his family : they did everything to help us any time we needed something. They truly care about their guests and you can feel it in how warmly they welcome you at the Rocky Bungalow.
Note : it is not situated right in Tam Coc, but you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel so you can easily move around.

A perfect stay in Tam coc! The host was so kind and helpful ensuring we knew the best places to visit during our stay. The room was comfortable and clean and in a great location only a small but enjoyable walk to bars and restaurants. Super helpful staff and was able to rent a bicycle and scooter from our home stay. A bus was booked for us and we were taken to the bus stop by scooter and given a bag of goodies for the ride. Would recommend staying here it was a beautiful place to stay.

What a nice familiar place to stay!
A family owned business and feels authentic and local.
Ask for help and it will feel like they will give you more than you can imagine. So so friendly! In love with the location also, next to a cave where you can take a boat ride inside. If you want to rent a motorbike, they will arrange it for you. Everything is so easy.
A place to definately visit again.

A charming place right next to a small cave. very friendly staff, they helped with every problem. always smiling and hard working. Possibility to eat on site is a big plus. Delicious Vietnamese coffee! in the evening it gets magical by illuminating the cave and all the trees with lanterns! like in a fairy tale! I heartily recommend ❤

Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. So peaceful. They have free bicycles which are perfect for exploring the area. The owner is so helpful, she arranged a motorbike rental for me and accommodated some very last minute requests. Definitely recommended!

We stayed here for two nights and were so happy with this place! The owner/manager was so helpful from beginning to end. She coordinated motorbike rentals, laundry service, and an overnight bus from Ninh Binh to Ha Giang — all for fair prices. The location is perfect: very close to town without being so close that you can hear all of the noise at night. And the breakfast was good and abundant.

Friendly, helpful host family, pool area great for hot days. Accommodation is good value for money (facilities are rather basic, good for backpacking couple). Offer services onsite like motorbike rental and laundry, whiche are a bit more expensive than downtown but comfortable and hassle free. Close to Tam Coc Centre, calm location. Many thanks to the host for having us!

Side note: Rent a motorbike and do the boat tour in Trang An, well worth it!!!
