Ninh Binh Bungalow Homestay

A wonderful place away from the dusty city. The location is not too far, in perfect accessibility. The rooms are clean and pleasing to the eye, lined with wood and bamboo. All the most interesting places in Ninh Binh are nearby. There are many great places to eat around, the locals are very friendly, as are the price tags. The family itself that took us in was simply wonderful. Very kind and hospitable people. They made sure we were comfortable. The girl speaks English. I recommend choosing this place if you want to have a good rest and choose a good location close to tourist spots!

This place, in the countryside, is the best place if you want a quiet place, near-nature place, helpful people and a really great quality food place where you can find real quality of local food and sleep in a bamboo shelter with your own shower room and the best quality service near bạn định temple and pagoda , near trắng an boat tour and far from the city <3

A very pleasent stay full of local flavors!
Getting there by walking is nearly impossible, unless you are staying several days and can take your time. We walked for about 8km from the bus stop and as you may know Vietnam is not really walker's friendly so we decided to get a taxi, luckily, Thao (the host) got us one in a matter of minutes (thumbs up to her!). The surroundings are very charming and the landscape, enhanced by a beautiful blue sky, is just what everyone needs! No need to worry about transportation as you can rent bycicles and bikes directly here.
The food is prepared by both hosts, sometimes by Thao and other times by her husband. It is a good, balanced and tasty home-cooked meal, be sure to give it a try! Their kids are cute and well behaved too.
Personally, the bungalow was a bit lacking in the cleanliness department.
All in all, a very charming family and a nice experience!

Wonderful place ! The family that owns the homestay is very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The place is very intimate, in a quiet neighborhood and the rooms are super clean (and cheap!). It's only 2kms away from Bái Đính temple. It's a bit far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc BUT they offer motorbike (100K) and bicycle renting (50K) which is very convenient to go visit the surroundings.
Highly recommend!!!

Incredible host here! Thao is super accomodating! Vibes here are super chill even with the small children playing around at times:) it's amongst the cheapest single rooms I've ever gotten! Foood is also great and cheap considering prices in ninh binh🥰

Lovely little place, the hosts were amazing, the food was superb and the rooms were very big and clean.
Close by to the big pagoda and the lake.
The best Food we had in Vietnam, were both vegan and the hosts made everything to suit us, and there was always plenty of it.
Really cool place highly recommend.

my partner wasn't feeling well, so we spent a few extra nights here and had a few days of just hanging out at the homestay, they were very friendly and concerned for him and helped us where ever they could. the breakfast was sometimes a bit odd for us but typical for vietnamese, but when they served eggs they were quite good. the dinners are yummy as well. it's a bit expensive to get too but taxi... like 300k vnd. the wifi is quite good as well.

An amazing escape from the noise of the city. This homestay is beautiful, with lots of green grass and singing birds. It's less than 30 minutes to Ninh Binh by motorbike, and very close to the pagoda, etc. Tao and her family are lovely, and the food here has been some of the best we've had since arriving in Vietnam. I would recommend this homestay for sure!

Absolutely fell in love with family of Thao. I had wonderful stay and good rest after my traveling north Vietnam. I felt like home and it comes so natural. Thao has sweet daughter who is playing and laughing all the time. It seems they really look after me. They took me around for free, gives good advices about attractions around and how to save money around. I honestly recommend. Rooms are at high quality.

This place is Amazing!!! At first it may seem hard to get to but this was totally the right move - it’s really close to the places you want to visit in the area(Bai Dinh Pagoda & Trang river) the drive is spectacular chance to see the nature this rural are have to offer!!
The Bungalow itself have everything you mite need/want and whatever you mite need.

Thao and the family are amazing as well and would arrange and help you with anything with from dinner/lunch/breakfast(Vegan or not)/coffee to Motocycle rental.
Their garden, house pets and the atmosphere is, again just amazing.

Most defiantly would love to come back

Thao is a lovely person and has a lovely family! Besides the excelent food (hands down the best vietnamese food we had ever tried), abundant dishes, beautiful and clean bungalows; you gotta love the family. They are so kind and always looking out for you. We had an amazing time and its crazy cheap. Thao also runs a free english school for the kids in the village and you get to help them practice!
I would go back a thousand times!

Considering the price, its the best place to stay. The host is very kind and the food is so good too.

Great family, amazing shower, fantastic fried noodles.

Best place i stayed in Vietnam so far! Thao made my staying there pleasurable and i would not leave if i could.

Wake up in the morning in the middle of the garden, listen to the birds singing is awesome. Friendly people
