Hoalu Ecolodge Homestay

Our hosts were so incredibly kind and welcoming, and were EXTREMELY helpful when assisting us with organising busses/other accommodation. The views are breath taking and the whole hostel has such a homely atmosphere, and the breakfast/coffee was delicious! It did get quite cold so just be sure to bring warm clothes with you. Definitely recommend staying/visiting, thank you for taking such good care of us 🧡

The owners family is super kind and helpful. The property is amazing and beautiful. The free breakfast is spot on and better than some of the major hotels in the cities. I was here during the rainy season and flooding was an issue. But the owner offered to move my room if anything was an inconvenience.

Very welcoming staff with a great all round feel. We as a couple loved it here as it was just out of the town and a bit more into nature. Not touristy and very good for relaxing. Good air con, outstanding pool, good food. Breakfast included. Special mention to the family sit down meal we had on Friday to meet other guests in the hostel. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

I highly recommend staying here! The atmosphere and the staff are very friendly, the terrain of the homestay is extremely beautiful, you get a pool in the middle of very steep and gorgeous mountains! I also loved the food, the smoothies and the included breakfast. Our room was perfect as well, great AC, a big bathroom with a nice shower and very comfortable beds without a top bunk (the 5 person dorm). Thanks for the stay! :)

The lovely lady upgraded us to a private room 😊 the food was cheap and yummy. The pool was clean and great to swim in and the pool table was put to good use! Thankyoy Hoalu Ecolodge 🤍🤍

Good location and I have to thank the hotel staff for bringing me my wallet that I left. Only bad thing to say is that the sheets were a bid dirty and the food was a bit cold otherwise fine for the price

Beautiful setting, very helpful staff. There's a free Pool table in good condition. Plenty options of good food in the restaurant and breakfast (included). They also rent scooters. Hopefully we will come back some day!

Really nice place- beautiful surroundings and great facilities. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. I would recommend getting scooters to get around though!

this place was great.

we rode motorcycles for 10 hours and stayed here and what a difference the peace and quiet made. the bed was comfy and provided a great night of sleep to wake up and ride another 10 hours.

the food they served at the restaurant was adequate and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

The place is really nice, the food they serve is really good (we did breakfast and dinner). They also rent motorbikes for a cheap price, and help you organizing the day or next trip (they planned our next trip to Sa Pa).

100% recommended to everyone.

It was worth every penny paid and even more. The staff is extremely hospitable and warm, they try an help you with everything possible. You have motorbikes and scooters available for rentals, they help you book your Taxi/bus to your Next destination and are generous enough to lend their bicycles for you to explore Ninh Binh.

The whole team seemed well in sync and ready to help. Attentive towards your queries and prompt in dealing with all your needs

The room was well maintained, though it was a small space but it was done in a tasteful and minimalistic manner.

Food, the breakfast is on the house and the portion sizes are quite good, you are offered variety of breakfast option to choose from (all so delicious)along with fresh cut fruits and coffee/tea.

I would highly recommend people to visit Ninh Binh and most importantly book with Hoalu Ecolodge Homestay only!

Loved this hostel. Good sitcon. Amazing pool and views. Loads of frogs in the evening around the pool you can touch and watch swim. Helpful staff. Can get bus’s directly from hostel

I love this place. Highly recommend for everyone . Cheap price for the room and service here. Helpful staff always help me with any my question and everything I need. They give me some advice to visit some attraction tourist. It was great. I will come back here for sure

I'm so happy that I decided in last minute to stay in this Homestay and not in the busy Ninh Binh. The area is awesome around the homestay are limestones, lettle lakes and fields.
The ownerfamily and Lan is sooo kind, helpful und friendly. I booked a dorm but they gave me a privatesingleroom, that I don't have to stay with men. So nice. Every morning they offer a good breakfast, you can choose from a lot of different dishes. It is included in the room. On the last evening they invited me to a familiydinner and the cooked everything vegeterian for me. Wow...it was sooo good!
They have a nice Pool, billiard and hamocks and so good soaps, conditioners
You can also rent scooter for a good price, bicycles and tours and busses to Halong Bay...

Very friendly and funny staff. The food was delicious and the free breakfast had great options. They do their best to make you feel welcome.

I've stayed here twice now and it's am absolutely wonderful place. It's the perfect weekend getaway from Hanoi. The staff members are awesome and very helpful. The family dinners are delicious and fun, rooms are clean and affordable, and the views of the surround area are unbeatable. Definitely stay here!
