One of the very best places we stayed during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. The sweetest family and very helpful. Scooter rent at the homestay and really good pancakes and eggs for breakfast. And the location is just right next to everything you need, though it's not right next to the street. Perfect!

Tuyết is an amazing host. She is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with whatever you might need.

She’s also a great cook. She makes killer pancakes, delicious pho and yummy fried noodles. Breakfasts here are fabulous!

The location is perfect. This is a quiet oasis far enough off the main street to be quiet and peaceful, but near enough to have all of Tam Coc’s amenities immediately at hand.

The bed is comfortable and the A/C & heating unit is efficient and whisper quiet. There’s plenty of hot water and the shower water pressure is great. Wifi is exceptionally strong, both in the room and in the common areas.

Bicycle and scooter rentals are available for a very affordable price (VND 50,000 & VND 100,000 respectively).

The price is very, very fair - fantastic value for money.

It is an amazing Oasis far away from noice of the city. The owner Snow is so nice and kind, She will help you with everything you need. I felt like part of her family. The breakfast is big and tasty. Rooms are clean with hot water. Thank you! It was the best place In Vietnam! (Jana and Guille)

It's not about the place but the people
Although the place was also great but the highlight of the stay was this family
Not only they were helpful but genuinely made extra efforts to make your your stay memorable

Been to various hotels and places however, honestly this is the one I would like to comeback in future
The small acts of kindness shown by the entire family made my stay more warm and my belief in People even stronger
When I asked for warm water I recieved a a glass of Ginger herbal tea(No extra charges, just pure care)
waking up at 5 am in chilling 15°c to open the compound to waiting in the in the veranda for the my arrival the lady whose name I can't pronounce correctly so I won't was one of the kindest person I have ever met

If you are ever in vietnam and visiting Ninh Binh do go over to the place and give yourself a chance to experience humanity and selfless acts of kindness

P.S. The place is great and the location is best in Ninh binh with good cafes and restaurants just nearby

Mr Cau’s Homestay is wonderful (so good we ended up booking a third night here having initially planned on staying for two)

A lovely, peaceful location. Very close to the Main Street with restaurants, yet set back enough not to hear any noise.

The garden and pool area are very peaceful and well maintained / clean.

We stayed in one of the garden bungalow rooms which was great value and a great space for us. Not feeling ‘squeezed in’

Breakfast is simple - just boiled eggs and bread, an omelette or pancakes with honey or banana. (Must order the night before) All served with fresh fruit and your choice of drink.

Very helpful family helping us to book transport and help with laundry etc.

Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting tam Coc!

Beautiful house and sweet guest rooms with a swimming pool where you can sit and relax all day with beers.. The price is very reasonable. You also get free breakfast early in the morning as per your convenience timing.. They can also arrange a trip for you if you wish or you can explore yourself by bike or bicycle..

We loved this place 😍 The rooms were so comfortable - and the host Snow was so helpful with everything we needed. We will miss this lovely family and their wonderful homestay.

Incredible homestay. So beautiful room with swimming pool view. Perfect clean and facilities.
Location is just perfect, 5 minutes walking to the boat station and the center. Quiet place.
Very tasty breakfast with many options for main dish, fruits or juices.
The owner Tuyet is incredible kind and friendly as well as her family. She went above and beyond and make us feel like home. I could not recommend this place enough. Would definitely come back and stay longer.

Awesome family friendly Homestay close to restaurants convenience stores and bars... The host Tuyet and her family are very accommodating and friendly... Rooms are clean and comfortable... Breakfast is great... The pool is clean and refreshing after a day of touring around Tam Coc... They also offer a laundry service at a very reasonable price... Highly recommend Mr Cau Homestay and we will definitely return on our next visit... Enjoy

Gorgeous rooms with excellent sprung mattress beds, great showers and strong AC, in a quiet location close to everything. And there's a lovely clean pool! But the highlight was the family, especially Tuyết who arranged things for us with such kindness. They invited us to share an evening meal with them all, and even though we are vegetarians they put on an amazing spread. We were extremely happy with everything and highly recommend!

Absolutely recommended homestay. Clean and quiet, 3 rooms only, with a refreshing swimming pool and the most friendly and helpful host. 2 minutes from the village center, an excellent choice.

One of the best homestays we've stayed at in Vietnam. First class rooms, perfect shower, great swimming pool, all clean, as good as new and well maintained. And most of all, very friendly and real Vietnamese owners.

We enjoyed so much this lovely quiet paradise, that that we came back again. The owner and her family are super helpful and welcoming. I just wish I could communicate more with them as I don’t speak Vietnamese.

We loved our stay at Mr. Cau’s Homestay. The room was very clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and having a pool a true luxury for this budget traveler. What I mostly loved though was the kindness and helpfulness of the host and her sweet family — they couldn’t do enough for us. Despite the language barrier, we were made so very welcome and felt pampered from beginning to end. This is a terrific find in a fun town. I HIGHLY recommend it.

On ne peut que recommander cet homestay ! Un véritable coup de cœur pour nous, de la tranquillité à deux pas du centre et de ses restaurants tout comme une telle proximité avec l’embarcadère ! Nous avons pris une nuit supplémentaire et aurions aimé pouvoir de nouveau prolonger si nous en avions eu le temps. Les petits déjeuners sont succulents et en quantité importante, le lieu est très propre et les chambres spacieuses. Les scooters et vélos proposés le sont à des prix très raisonnables. Bref on a adoré nos trois nuits ici :)

Je ne peut que recommander cet homestay, la chambre est spacieuse et propre, bien agencée avec de quoi poser ses bagages.
La personne qui s’occupe de vous le fera toujours avec un grand sourire et sera aux petits soins pour vous, elle fait parti des personnes les plus agréables qu’on ait croisé.
L’emplacement est idéal, en retrait de tout bruit et circulation mais très proche des premiers restaurants et du centre ville.
