Viet Anh Homestay

The VietAnh Homestay sincerely deserves all the praise it receives.

Despite arriving in the midst of Lunar New Year celebrations, we were welcomed like family and were treated to a festive lunch with all the Home Stay residents.

We had the opportunity to rent bicycles to explore the city, and it was also possible to book excursions and taxis/buses with our hosts.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfasts are absolutely delicious (you HAVE to try the banana pancakes!).

If you're sensitive to noise, however, it might be a good idea to bring earplugs. A few animals in the neighborhood are early risers, but that’s also part of the experience. 😊

All in all, we recommend this Homestay without hesitation. Thank you to the whole family for your warm welcome!

Me and my partner have stayed here for 3 nights and loved every second! The owners make you feel so welcome and can’t do enough to help, the breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in south east Asia and the rooms are lovely, spacious and clean.

I can’t recommend Viet Anh Homestay enough for anyone coming to Ninh Binh!

The loveliest family is running this Homestay. The breakfasts were yummy and the rooms and bathrooms were big and air conditioned. We had an in-house massage and cooking class which were super cheap and really nice! You can also rent bicycles and motorbikes from the Homestay. They have two puppies which were really cute although one was a bit bity haha. Everything was really great value and would definitely stay again.

This place is the nicest place that we have stayed in our 3 weeks of travel in Vietnam.

Viet Anh feels like home, and our wonderful hosts made us feel very welcomed and comfortable for our time here.

The rooms are lovely, with a comfortable bed, and they're nice and cool even in the 38 degree heat. The pool is clean and sheltered, and the courtyard is nice to hang out in.

Our breakfast was made fresh for us each morning, would definitely recommend the tomato scramble.

The location is good too, very close to the main street here, and if you're not a scooter-person, there's plenty to see within cycling distance on a push bike, or to walk to on foot. Hang Mua is only a 20 minute bike ride away, and it’s beautiful in the afternoon for sunset.

I can’t recommend this place enough. We have had the nicest time.

My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable time at this homestay. The family is extremely friendly, accommodating and they have a beautiful home. I would come back any time. You can also rent scooters, get your laundry done or rent a bus through them.🩷

My wife and I LOVED staying at this homestay with this very sweet family. The owners are constantly smiling and ensuring the guests feel welcomed with their kindness and warmth. Our room was very spacious and clean, plus it had a very nice hot shower that was a treasure during our cold days in Northern Vietnam.

They offered great food, including keeping us warm with their homemade ginger/honey tea.

Best Homestay in Tam Coc!! Especially the hosts, they will make you feel like you are at your home only, super hospitality. The hosts are such an amazing people, they personally look into all your need and help you in each possible ways. While returning to Airport they also came with us to dropping point to drop us. Such a gem of person!!

We stayed at the Viet Anh Homestay for 2 nights and we were so surprised by the unbelievable nice treatment and hospitality of the owners. They always welcomed us with a bright smile and helped us to organize our itinerary for Ninh Binh. Moreover, they bought us tickets for our next destination, Phong Nha and drove us to the bus station, waited there with us and checked if our luggage was placed into the bus. The yard inside of the house is so beautiful and they also have a beautiful swimming pool. The location for all the sights of Ninh Binh is perfect 👌 We thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home 🙏

We had a great time here! Location is good, near the center of Tam Coc. The room was big and clean. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help. We had a nice family diner with them. Thank you!

This homestay has one of the sweetest families. We were immediately welcomed with smiles, from both Cong and Phuong, the husband and wife duo who run the homestay. Our room was very spacious and clean. There was also a full supply of water bottles available (be advised you will be charged for any water bottles taken). The shower may have been my favourite because it had a long supply of hot water (luxury after a number of our previous accommodations in northern Vietnam had limited/no hot water).

The homestay offers bicycle and scooter rentals, laundry services (50K/kilo), and they can help arrange transportation to your next destination.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay with Viet Anh. It has a great location, the family are so kind and go above and beyond to help, and the rooms are comfortable. If you're thinking of staying in Tam Coc, this is your home away from home!

Nice staff. Rent bicycles. Clean place. Cute and pretty garden inside. Scent of pomello flower is everywhere. Got massage here from 'Lan'. She was So good. I think 1 hour body massage is most cheap in Vietnam.

We get to see lot of smiling and welcoming faces in Vietnam. In our trip, Phung and Chong smiles are memorable. They made us sure that we stayed comfortable and arranged tours and transport.

This is a wonderful new Homestay in a friendly village just a short walk from Tam Coc. The rooms are arranged around a small courtyard, next to fields overlooking the beautiful countryside. All have a big comfortable bed, AC, fan, a fridge and strong Wi-Fi. The bathroom is spacious and clean; soap, shampoo, super-soft towels, hair dryer and even toothbrushes and razor are provided. There is also a small pool to swim in. The host Doan is wonderful and a great cook. The food was tasty and she served it with rice she had grown herself.
The Homestay offers bicycles to explore the scenic area around Ninh Binh. After busy Hanoi this was an ideal place to relax for a while. We can highly recommend this place.

It's a peaceful and quiete place. Phuong and her husband are wonderful host. Breakfast is perfect with sweet pancakes. They make all the best for a perfect stay. Thank you very much.

Easily the best place I’ve stayed. From arriving early at 4am and the host walking to us to fish us out of the street, the always smiling faces, great food, and even driving us to the bus stop and waving us off. This should be the first place to look to stay when visiting Tam Coc/Ninh Binh

What a beautiful homestay in Tam Coc 😍. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Nice sitting area outside, facing garden. Phuong and Cong are excellent hosts. They went out of their way to help us with all our travel needs. Cong is a fantastic cook. Loved his pancakes and noodles. We booked for a night and stayed for 4. The location is nice, with Tam Coc lake and boat tour office about 500 meters away. The homestay also has vehicle rentals, currency exchange plus travel bookings. There will soon be a swimming pool. We earnestly recommend the stay.

This is the most soulful and friendly place in Tam Coc. Amazing owners, grandma and their little puppy Tun-Tun. The room are clean and comfortable, there is everything needed for daily life. You can order food, motorbikes, bus tickets, tours and many other things in this homestay. This place is quite and charming with a beautiful garden. We had a really great time there and hope to come back soon.

This place is amazing! Hosts are super friendly, I think the most friendly people that we ever met. All family is the best! The Lady cookes the best breakfast - just try her pancakes :) her husband is perfect partner for pool (which is free) and Vietnam Mama is sooo cute ❤ even during rain you can enjoy relaxing in this homestay all day.
Beautiful room/bungalow - big and clean with super hot water and hairdryer, air conditioning, WiFi working perfect, pretty garden with banana palms 🌴 and good price! Also location is very good - close to main Street and region attractions but in a very quiet area.
