Vinh Thinh Homestay

Amazingly kind and generous host! I contacted Juan at Vinh Thinh to book a room but there was no availability. He helped me to find a room at a discounted rate at his sister’s homestay nearby. I was travelling at the time of the lunar new year and despite me staying in a different homestay he invited me to spend new year at Vinh Thinh with his family. They plied me with beer and food and couldn’t have been more welcoming - such lovely people.

We have been traveling in South-East Asia for several months, and staying here felt like home for a while, which was amazing. The room is clean, quite big and cozy.

Mr. Hoan (the owner) is so good-hearted that it’s even hard to believe. He is happy having people in his homestay and I can assure his aim is not money. The day we arrived it was 10pm and he was waiting for us outside so we didn’t get lost. After getting in the room I realized I had lost my phone (left it in the bus) and he got in contact with the company and found it! Not only that, but he took me with his motorbike to where they had it so I could get it back.
He is someone you can trust, which feels amazing when you are traveling. I am so grateful that we stayed with him and his family. They are all great people.

Moreover, the homestay is prefectly located and you can rent bicycles, motorcycle and get a bus ticket for your next destination. The price includes breakfast, which is plentiful and delicious. If your bus arrives in the middle of the night, which can happen, they will wait for you and let you stay in the room for a very cheap price/fee.

You will be amazed with the landscape of Tam Cốc (Ninh Binh), no matter how the weather is, and THIS is the place to stay!

The nicest place we’ve stayed in south east Asia. We checked in at 4am and the owner was so kind and welcoming and made us feel at home. The family were so kind, helpful and wholesome. The breakfast was so nice we had pancakes, fruit, an omelette, coffee and juice every morning. The beds are so comfy and the hostel is decorated so nicely. If we come back to Vietnam we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great homestay. The whole family is very friendly, making sure we had a great experience. Rooms are pretty big, comfy bed, airco (although I missed the fridge ) . Breakfast was very good. It is located in a quiet alley a few meters from the main road. Highly recommended

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It was one of the best home stay experiences we have had so far in Asia. The room was great and we were able to rent a motorbike no problem. We got to share a nice Saturday evening with the owner and some guests where the owner gave out rice wine. The breakfast was delicious and the whole family extremely kind and helpful. If I’m ever in the region again I would definitely come here again!

This was probably the best homestay we had in Vietnam. The breakfast was very delicious, bread, egg, fruits,juice - we were very happy. The family was lovely and super generous for us, they even gave us supplies for our night bus journey and drove us to the bus station. We are very thankful and had an amazing time. We also booked a motorbike, did laundry and they organised the next bus for us. We totally recommend this place 10/10 :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Vinh Thinh Homestay! The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The owner and his family were so friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner was also incredibly helpful in arranging motorbike rental and providing local advice. We liked it so much that we ended up staying an extra night! Highly recommend this homestay.

Tam Coc Vinh Thinh Homestay exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner and his family were so kind and hospitable, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was great. The breakfast was delicious, and the owner was incredibly helpful in arranging motorbike rental and sharing local recommendations. Stayed an extra night cause we liked it so much

We were so happy when we arrived at this homestay! The owners were so lovely and accomodating. We were given breakfast and coffee in the morning, had a lovely view of the river and were able to use bikes and mopeds. The room is also super clean, comfortable and has so much character (dynamic lighting and traditional Vietnamese design). Not to mention has its own bathroom, tea station, fan AND aircon. Sad we didn’t book more days here, but would definitely come back!!!

This place is a lovely accomodation, the staff were so welcoming and willing to help with anything at a moments notice. The room is cute and feels spacious, with attention to detail and dynamic lighting variations and is very clean same goes for the bathroom. The hosts provide nice facilities such an air conditioner, fan, kettle, mugs, glasses, tea, a coat hanger, table and chairs. The location is perfect being a minute walk off a side street right from the main strip. Only gripe is that we aren’t staying longer!

The stay was way above expectation, the owner is so nice and accommodating. He was able to provide tips about all the questions we had, breakfast was awesome, he did our laundry quickly, and the room itself was clean and perfect for us. Would stay here again!

The accommodation is super clean, the breakfast excellent and what about the hospitality of the family who manages the establishment, just exceptional. In addition I had a problem in the mountains which required hospitalization the person who runs the establishment takes care of me as if I were his family it's just incredible I recommend this establishment !!! And above all, do not hesitate to chat with the adorable and attentive family who will help you on your trip.

Tam Coc Vinh Thinh Homestay was an excellent choice for our stay in the area. The location is fantastic, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The owner and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, and the wifi worked perfectly. The owner was also very helpful in arranging motorbike rental and bus transfers. We would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.

really comfy and clean bungalows! perfect location right in town. great breakfast of banh mi and pancakes, all the staff really lovely even dropped me to my bus on his moped! would recommend

This place was simply perfect. The location is very good with a plethora of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Mainly, the family who manages the place are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The owner allowed us to check in at 4 am and let us go straight to the room to rest for the night. Anything we have needed they have sorted for us at the drop of a hat. They even give you advice on where to go to make the most of your time in Ninh Binh and organise transport to these places if you need it. You feel so welcome to stay here, I simply cannot reccomend enough.

We had a fantastic stay. The host family is very nice and caring, total opposite of the pushy atmosphere in the rest of town. It felt like family, even more with the nice kids around. The rooms are very clean and had good ac, breakfast is really big and very tasty with fresh juice, fried eggs, omelet, pancakes and fresh baguette. Laundry service is also very good and fast for reasonable price.

We stayed during the mid autumn festival and were invited to a delicious barbecue to celebrate with the family. I guess that doesn't happen every day, but a good indicator for the hospitality you can expect when staying here. We would totally go again.

Awesome place to stay when you are in Ninh Binh. Stayed for 3 nights and everything was kinda perfect. Good breakfast, very clean and modern rooms and a very lovely family! :)

This is a lovely, clean, friendly and very central place to stay in Tam Coc! The family who own the homestay are so helpful and lovely to stay with and even let us shower after checking out before our overnight train to Hue! Our host gave us a map of the attractions in the area and told us where we should go each day which was a big help!

The breakfast is really tasty and fresh and the motorbike rental, bicycle rental and laundry are all great value for money!

Had an amazing experience! The owners are very nice and caring. They welcomed us extremely well and helped us plan the days around Tam Coc. Their place is very clean and the breakfast is amazing. Location is great since it's in the middle of the village. They also have bikes to hire for a very good price. Would definitely recommend!

Wow! Best welcome ever! As I arrived, right away gave me a juice and plate of fruits. Stayed for 1 night and got the best experience. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was excellent! Drove me to the bus station at a rainy evening from they're will! The best hosts that I have met in Vietnam!!!
