Hospitality to a very high standard. The rooms are new and clean. The breakfast was good. I like the bicycle rental service. The family is very friendly and we felt very welcome in their home.
The father is running an embroidery business. If you like you can see the work in progress and also purchase some of the very nice products.

Initially we only wanted to stay one Night. But because the whole family at Tam Coc Craft Homestay is so lovely, helpful and friendly, we decided to stay longer. This was the best Homestay we stayed in during our Travels in Vietnam. You will feel at home the second you get there and never want to leave again! The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable.

Lien (not sure of spelling) was a great host as well as her father- such kind, sweet, welcoming people. Her son is the sweetest, cutest boy I've met in SE Asia- would always bring me little flowers. The baby is very cute, too-- loved them! My 'lake view' room was very clean and modern (its a new building). Not really a lake there but still a nice view. Breakfast was very good. If they offer to make you dinner- definitely take them up on it- it is delicious and you will try many different things. I paid 90,000 (great deal for the amount of food given) and shared it with 3 other people staying there. Plenty of food for us all. There was a bad storm and the power was knocked out for @an hour, Lien brought me a candle- I really appreciated that. I was also able to borrow an umbrella. I rented a scooter from them. It rained hard all morning so I did not start the rental time until 1:30pm. The next morning, I used it from 9:30-11:30am and returned the key. I assumed it was a 24 hour rental (like every other rental I've done in SE Asia) but I was charged for 2 full days rental. So just be sure to understand what time the scooter needs to be returned.

The entire host family is super friendly and unbelievably accommodating. The free breakfast in the morning is delicious and includes a drink, entree, and fresh fruit. The rooms are impeccably clean with hand embroidered linens and art (the father is an embroidery expert and we got a free gift at the end of our stay!) and they have bikes and motorbikes for rent. They were even able to accommodate our super early morning (even said 5am was fine) motorbike rental. We had dinner with them one night at their restaurant Dang Quang and the food was tasty and we even took a few shots of apple wine with the family. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to everyone else. Thank you!

A lovely gem of a place! The owner and her family were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, and spoke very good English. I felt very at home here.

The homestay is ideally situated for Tam Coc - just a hundred metres or so from the main square/coach drop off. The room itself was clean and modern, with A/C and lockable bedside cabinet and wardrobe. The embroidered bedsheets and room decorations are all made locally (hence the 'craft' homestay). Breakfast was excellent, with a range of options including omelettes and pancakes, coffee juice etc. Bikes are available to hire for 50,000 dong/day.

Overall this homestay represents excellent value for money and the owner and her family were a delight. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, welcoming place to stay in Tam Coc.

We loved absolutely everything! But the most amazing was the family running this place - during our 1 month travelling in Vietnam we have never met such warm, carrying, honest, hospitable and friendly people! Initially we wanted to stay there 2 nights, but at the end we stayed 4 and if only we could, we would stay longer :) Lien (the host) speaks very good English so we could talk for hours with her and her father! :)
- the homestay is opened only since 2 months, so the rooms are brand new, fresh, super clean, beautiful and comfortable. I have to also mention, that during the winter it is cold in the North Vietnam, that's is why we were super happy to discover that the air-conditioning has also an option to heat the room, whenever we were cold after coming back to our room from the trips, we run it for max. 3-5 minutes and the room became very cozy and warm.
- the location is great, very close to everything, they also organized for us a motorbike to rent
- great wifi connection
- Lien is a fantastic cook, she makes the best spring rolls in the whole Vietnam! :) I really enjoyed her meals! And the pancakes were yummy! :)
- during our stay we were invited by the family to join them during the dinner which was very sweet of them, thanks to this we could experience real hospitality and Vietnamese culture, ask many questions about Vietnamese life
- the most lovely bed sheets we have seen in any hotel, hand embroided by the family business. They showed us the workshop and demonstrated the process of hand embroidery - really really beautiful work!).
- one day after dinning out in the city my husband got sick, this are always stressful situations especially while being so far from home, but the family took care of him as if he (and me too! :) ) was their family member, we felt really spoiled there ;). They especially cooked for him food that would help him recover, organized medicines, offered a lift to the hospital (but was not necessary) and were always checking if we are fine and if we need something, for that we are very grateful, because we felt like at home there.

I would recommend this homestay to everyone, especially to those, who want to experience real hospitality and sleep in very good conditions. <3 I hope we will one day come back :)

Delightful homestay far enough away from main road to make it quiet. Very new (only open a few months), host speaks good English. Can hire bikes and motorbikes from them to get around and see Tam Coc. Definitely would stay again

A very nice place with a great location, 3 min walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops. Our room was tidy with a big and clean bathroom. A very warm family will make you feel welcome, they also helped us with the transportation to our next destination :)

Very comfortable bed. Price not too unreasonable for a heavy tourist area. Owner speaks some English. Breakfast was acceptable. Many thanks for loaning me their bike to ride to the temple nearby when I didn't want to ride my bike there.

Just WOW! It's family managed place, eelcoming hosts. The helped us planning our 2 days stay and got info about the places to see around. Good breakfast, super comfortable beds and big rooms, super clean, we rented bikes through the place and helped us book a goos sleeper bus to Phung Nha with reasonable price. Central location .
Would recommend the place for sure!!

One of the loveliest places we stayed in Vietnam. The facilities are great, but more importantly we were made to feel part of the family. Thank you Lien, Loan and Thanh!
