This place is simply soulful. The attention to detail is what made it so unique and worth the price. The bedding, towels, and robes were all cozy. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes and chefs who cooked eggs on the spot. Views from the king room with balcony facing the mountains were spectacular. I checked in on my birthday and the staff sweetly treated me with a surprise gift. There was plenty of hot water for a bath.
The free bike rentals were possibly the nicest, most comfortable and modern bikes in town. I hopped accommodations in Tam Coc frequently because everything was booked up, and this was by far the best stay. Everything felt lovingly crafted and high quality, and I regret that it was so popular that I was only able to book one night-I wish I’d stayed longer!

It’s a very beautiful Hotel, with great rooms and exceptional aesthetics. We also had dinner there one night and the foods and drinks were great! Only downside is that it’s quite poorly soundproofed. You can hear neighbours singing karaoke, cleaning staff and other guests early in the morning… so bring some ear plugs and you‘ll be fine!

What an absolutely stunning piece of accommodation. This is only rated a star hotel but it's got the details and service of a star. Upon arrival you are greeted with a drink and check-in was hassle free. They even bring all your luggage up like royalty.

The room was amazing, massive and luxurious with an amazing view of the countryside. I booked the biggest and top room so I can only speak from my experience. Everything was meticulously decorated to align with their theme of embroidery and it was an absolute joy to the senses. Had some of my best nights sleep due to amazing bedding and how the room blocked out lights. Only one thing was that you can hear other rooms moving chairs around but other than that it was perfect.

The location is super central and amongst all the restaurants in Tam coc and most of the major attractions in Ninh binh, they even give you bikes and we just rode around to everything which is easily accessible to most of the things you want to see and do in Ninh binh.

I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel with an amazing view. The staff is very kind, they have decorated the room for our honeymoon and made me a sweet gift for my birthday. Do not hesitate to stay at this hotel at Tam Coc!

Very nice hotel near the center. The room is large, the decorations are nice and beautiful in detail. I will stay here if I come back. Only one thing is the way to the hotel is quite small, and my car is quite big to get in. And the cake was not good, should improve.

Lovely hotel with clean pools (the water was so cold for my taste, it was about 29 celcius that day). The room has great view. Large and cozy. No tv but not a big deal. The glass wall to the balcony was so clear that my wife tried to went to the balcony by hitting her head to :( 🤣.
Breakfast was good with lot of choices.

Note: the entrance road is quite small and it hard to recognize the place at first time.

Without any doubt this is by far one of the best places I have stayed at in this part of Asia. Le clos du fil is a small and unpretentious boutique hotel, mostly ran by ladies who also ran the attached embroideries workshop.
Besides being spotless clean, with spacious and well-equipped rooms, as well as child friendly facilities, we loved the staff. Their high sense of hospitality and customer attention made our stay absolutely exceptional. They also offer embroidery classes, which is a great add-on activity for children.
Last but not least, the restaurant is very good, with a variety of Vietnamese and western options and drinks.
Overall, I 100% recommend this hotel and we’ll surely go back!

Very nice and cosy boutique hotel, we stayed 2 days and enjoyed the time there. The staff (Nga, Ngoc, etc.) and the owner are very friendly, we took and embrodery lesson (Tam Coc is weel known for it) and visited the factory. The hotel is calm and very well located, bicycles clean and good, food international and embroderies everywhere, amazing! We stongly recommend.

100% would recommend staying here. Beautiful hotel and the staff is super friendly. There is so much attention for detail in everything: the interior, the plants in the garden, the food, the service. A peaceful place right behind the busy street. Lots of things to do in the area. We decided to stay one night longer :).

Room is so beautiful. The view is amazing. The pool was so refreshing in the Vietnam heat. We were exhausted from lots of touring and decided to stay in a order from the hotel. It was awesome! Just chilled by the pool, drinking fancy cocktails, enjoying the delicious food. This place was a perfect little haven!

Small hotel located near Tam Coc Bich Dong . Rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture in the room is meticulously designed, especially those made of fabric. The food is delicious. Suitable for holiday weekend. If we come back, we will still choose this hotel.

What a great hotel! You can see that they paid attention to every single details and everything was great. The room was very spacious and the bedding 5 stars. Very clean hotel and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast was marvellous and fresh!

If I could I woul only change one thing: the chairs in the dinning room! So so so noisy, it's terrible.

Right now staying at this gorgeous hotel with amazing beautifully and tastefully decorated rooms and bathroom. We booked 3 nights but extended with another 3 nights. We booked the suite wich is a very spacious room with two balconies and an awesome bathroom with a bathtub you can only dream about.
Very clean, soo friendly staff, great breakfast buffet and beautiful pool area. Just a few steps from the main street but very quiet. So ideal location. Free good bicycles.

This hotel was beautiful, tranquil and full of amazing embroidery. The decor was lovely and the staff very thoughtful and attentive. I would have preferred to stay another night here but we had already booked our next hotel in Hanoi. I would highly recommend this place and we used the free bikes every day.

Amazing hotel! Definitely worth a stay when in Ninh Binh!

Very good morning breakfast buffet, but the evening restaurant did not meet the expectations (go elsewhere in the city for dinner).

Wonderful Hotel with great service. We loved to consequential implementation of embroidery. Great views from the upper rooms (well, if the city would look nicer), excellent choice at the breakfast menu and a very good restaurant in the evening. Personal was very helpful and friendly. Can fully recommend.

The stay in the hotel was comfortable and the room was clean! You get to choose your breakfast everyday for free at a time you prefer. The receptionists were all very helpful to tourists and you can call them easily if you need help at anytime, including calling a taxi and ordering food. They have a swimming pool and even have embroidery workshops available.
Tam Coc boat tour is right opposite the hotel.

Most importantly, I met into a snatch theft incident and the hotel owners and receptionist were concerned enough to come down personally, go through the entire process and be at the police station with me.

If I'm ever here again, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed here for one night as part of a short trip to Ninh Binh. The room was clean and comfortable, it's well located in the small town and they offer free usage of their bicycles to get around. The breakfast buffet is not the best, but good enough. Unfortunately, the pool is too chilly to use during winter, but should be an awesome place for a dip during warmer months.

This is the second time I visit this hotel. Relax and comfortable as always. The hotel is cozy and clean. Rooms are spacious and some have nice view to the mountain area around. The design is good as they care in every detailed. Staff are helpful and really nice. The breakfast buffet are not too much dishes but really good quality. If you visit this area for Tam Coc sight seeing or Thung Nham bird park, this hotel is highly recommend.
