Thung Sen Tam Coc Glamping & Restaurant

This is a beautiful place with delightful short trails, viewpoints, and small caves to check out. Lovely food and adequate cabin style accommodations in a quiet, peaceful, and relatively natural setting. The staff were all pleasant, helpful, and informative and seemed well provided for by the business. A guitar was available in the restaurant for casual playing before or after a meal. It is great when your accommodations and the environment around happen to be the highlight of your stay in an area.

This is a must visit restaurant in Tam Coc. Everything is awesome here. The food is too delicious. We ordered roast goat meat and the meat was juicy and properly cooked. Don't forget to order coconut coffee of you like coffee. Apart from food the ambience is beautiful and quite. I would suggest people to visit during the day time when there is sunlight to capture the moments.

We cooked 4 dishes overall and really enjoyed the whole experience! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly, laughing and joking with us!
The bike ride to Thung sen was also very fun and the place is very idyllic. It would be good to go during the day to enjoy the scenery also.

I didn’t take the many positive food reviews at face value, and didn’t think much of the pictures of the seating area, but thought it’s a really nice walk through nature to get there, so we gave it a chance. We ordered some vegan dishes, and also in total 3 of the fresh local goat meat dishes, and fresh fruit juices. It was some of the best version of these dishes I’ve ever had in my life. We came back the next evening for seconds. Good memory!

Came here for the cooking class and it was great Mai was amazing at explaining the recipes and ingredients as well as instructing us on what to do. We loved the personalisation to make the meals vegetarian and the chef was great at showing us what to do (and helping us when we messed up) the food was amazing (best spring rolls in Vietnam) and there was so much of it we could take it back for our dinner. The location is also amazing and made for a great walk there and view while eating! (Also had amazing smoothies)

Don’t miss this place for amazing views of the unique nature. Just the bike ride here and back is probably the best we have seen in the area, and also easily walked from Tam Coc.
There’s a path through the restaurant all the way to the river on the other side that we found very cool!
Didn’t try the food, and regret not finding this place earlier. Just had coffee and ginger tea which was very nice and served by attentive staff. Highly recommended to stop by!

Best place ever. I went there by chance while discovering the area with my bike. The scenery is absolutely amazing. It is so peaceful and quite! I went there every evening during my stay in tam coc. Amazing drinks and food. The service is warmly welcoming and the cooking class offered directly from the staff was a great finisher for my trip. Thanks for the memories!! 🥲

Tho we didn't stay here, we ate a lot of meals here. Outstanding food and one beautiful setting.
If we were to come again, we'd definitely stay here.
The staff are so lovely and place so peaceful, a bit off the beaten track too.
I've not been to a better restaurant in the 6 days we stayed here.
And you have to try the mountain goat, it's a local specialty and absolutely delicious

I went there for the free viewpoint and I was more than amazed! It is actually a whole walking trail loop with several sideroads and ladders. Sometimes you have to climb and crawl a bit. After the walk, you can have food or drinks in the beautiful restaurant (which I did), but it is totally optional.

The food we found in the most places in Ninh Binh was not focussed on good quality Vietnamese food. I expected nothing from this restaurant but my mind was blown away by their delicious foods. It tastes as good as it looks on the picture, maybe even better. I can not speak about all their dishes (the variety is huge) but based on this two dishes alone I was amazed. One point of attention for the restaurant: reaching the viewing point that the restaurant advertised with, and which route to take there, could use a bit more clarification. The viewing point felt a little bit unsafe to reach as well. Also it would be nice to get a warning that there are many caterpillars on the viewing point. The ones of a type that if you brush by them, will give you a lot of itch. Other than these small points of attention I am nothing but positive about this place!

Me and my friend participated in cooking class there. It was amazing! She is vegetarian, so she went with vege cooking and I did meat & fish. Food is extraordinary, staff is super nice (perfect English). The location is stunning - hidden at the end of road which creates magical experience.

Cute cafe and restaurant in a spectacular environment. We had 2 smoothies which were delicious. After we finished we had heavy raining for a long time and got suddenly cold so the staff offered everyone warm tea for free. Even without this nice gesture I’d recommend it but this was adding a little extra for the kindness of the staff.

Beautiful setting amongst the mountains, just 3km from Tam Coc on a picturesque road. Food was delicious so many interesting Vietnamese choices. A lovely place to visit.

We had lunch at their restaurant few times and the food was delicious! Highly recommend eating at their restaurant and the place is wonderful and peaceful! A must visit.
However, we had some issues with the room we got and left after one night.

We signed up for their cooking class, family of 3 with a 9 year old child.
We had a blast and they were so kind.
Our son was able to do everything, including frying and sautéing.

We had amazing food and a wonderful time making it with everyone

We stumbled upon it while cycling in Tam Coc, and it was truly beautiful with delicious food and great drinks.

The Ice Cream is a dream.
Best Avocado Ice I've ever had and the Passionfruit Ice is as good as the Avocado.
The view is stunning and the service more than friendly.
Met a couple from New York here and they told us that they stayed here for a few days and loved it.

It is located at the end of a beautiful bike path, offering a variety of delicious local dishes.

Just talking about the view, it's already worth it. Their kindness should be acknowledged for offering free tours and access to restrooms.

For the restaurant; lovely place. We had egg coffee and spring rolls which were both very good.

There is also a viewpoint nearby which is worth checking out while you are there.
