Western Bus Station

This station allows you to travel to/from destinations in the Mekong Delta area. It can be extremely crowded, especially in the evening (when I arrived from Can Tho). This bus station is very big, so get here in time to find your departure area, when going anywhere. If you are travelling to Can Tho, you can get your ticket directly at the ticket office at the front of the area, as there is a bus leaving every half hour.

We took a ride from Saigon to Can Tho and back with a sleeper bus and it was a very pleasant experience, very comfortable way to get somewhere. Was cheap also. The busses have WiFi, but it is not the best/fastest.
The Futa busses also offer a free transfer from the arriving point to your hotel or at least to a point near you hotel.

Very large bus station, can be overwhelming at first, but once I found Futa bus’ corner, everything was very easy. Futa bus is very organised with screens displaying busses with their departure times and licence plate number. Also super handy with complimentary hotel shuttle transfers.

The future means of transport Im thinking about is a flying car. It looks like a normal car but it has wings and it can fly in the sky. The car will have solar panels to catch heat from the sun and generate power. Therefore, it will use the solar energy. I think it is a big invention which is good for environment and save energy.

The bus station is pretty efficient and easy to navigate. There's a ticket booth and different routes and providers to choose from. The busses that I road in were cool and comfortable. We all get our own reclined chair pod to ride in. They are stacked 2 high in 3 sections per row. Each section is separated by a small hallway. One provider had shades that could cover your personal space. It was nuts!

HCM Western Bus Station is really crowded, many buses arrive and deliver people everytime. There are many trips to the western provinces along to Mekong River Delta, and to the east tourist attraction also like Nha Trang, Dalat, Muine... Be careful with your luggages and carry-on properties in crowding places.

I always use the bus station to and from Can Tho. This time I arrived there at 2 am. The Futa bus ticket office is open at this time. I purchased my ticket for the next bus at 3 am. I walked to the area my bus leaves from where there is a great cafe always open. Got a drink and snacks, and they also have a toilet to use (french style!) If you need to find out anything ask the guards in blue, they will help. There are many places to get get drinks and food within the bus station and also just outside. They are cheaper outside. There is also a Circle K opposite the ticket offices. The public blue buses that run within HCMC can be found behind the ticket offices on the right side. They all park and leave in the same area.

Best place to catch a public bus traveling to Mekong Delta. Tickets are $53000 one way. Takes about 2 hours depending on traffic. Buses don’t have aircon or wifi BUT it will have genuine locals who are not afraid to help you in any shape or form. You can buy food from street vendors. I highly recommend this experience over any tourist tours. I only regret one thing and that is not peeing before hopping on ;-)

Traveling with Phuong Trang Sleeper Bus is very comfortable. It’s hard for English speakers only but the staff in generally helpful.

Your Grab can’t go inside, the taxi drivers will beat him 🫣

Good, clean and helpful. Big bus station, many different bus, and transfer to everywhere. Many restaurants with different foods on different hours as all these buses from different places in Vietnam. Clean , more visual or audio announcement, and counters for direction, bus plate, times, etc in English or Vietnamese language. Also, monitor on destination, departure time, bus plates and so on in both English or Vietnamese. Carefully, carefully carefully ... children, elderly and pets on high traffic in bus, vehicle and people when is off sidewalk.

It’s better now than few years ago. Everything is in order, when you want to go with coach, but the ticket at the ticket booths after the entrance. Always crowded though. City bus station is inside.

Surprisingly, this place has the fastest wifi I've seen in Vietnam at 70mb/sec download speed and 30mb/sec upload. Connect to S-wifi.

Nice and clean waiting area with Air Conditioning and food vendors.

Highly recommend. It looks cramped but it's not for medium height people as myself. Free water bottle and face washer. Aircon worked well, privacy and sun curtain. The guy translated we'd be making a lot stop for toilet/snacks.

It's wonderful place where we can take the vehicle.
