Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City

Well appointed, modern hotel. Rooms were spacious and spotless.
All staff went out of their way to look after us including helping with my need for gluten free food.
Not central but a cab ride to the centre is $5au and they do have a shuttle service.

We had a 2 night stay at the Equatorial which was a fabulous experience. Right from our arrival the reception staff, bell boys and restaurant staff were friendly, warm, accommodating, and could not do enough to help us. The Rooms are stunning, immaculately clean, well maintained and everything worked so well. TV's have international and english and Korean channels (which suited me), the wifi was super fast. Rooms were very quiet and luxurious to rest in. Bathrooms - wonderfully maintained, super clean and lots of accessories. Towels were clean, warm and thick so wonderful after a shower! Everything works perfectly right down to the added bonus of a proper sized kettle to make tea/coffee (supplied in every room). Each room has a fridge and free bottles of water. For tea/coffee lovers, the vending machines on floors 5 and 7 have a variety of drinks but most importantly they have proper fresh milk cartons that allow you to really enjoy your tea/coffee! Prices are very reasonably priced for a hotel and there are lots of stores nearby (including a mall) if you want to buy additional supplies for your room/fridge.

I took my niece (teenager) for a walk down the street (turn left after you leave hotel and a 10 minute walk straight down that street brings you to a roundabout and a mall that has a variety of stores but most importantly has some great restaurants and a playzone with claw machines, electronic games, basketball games, etc. to keep a teenager/child entertained. Not sure which of us had more fun but I won several prizes from the claw machine and my niece had so much fun there. Ground floor also has a bakery with very tasty treats which we brought back to our rooms!

Hotel is in the business district but lots of local stores all around so you still get the whole vibe of the city but with the luxury of the hotel to relax in after a busy day of touring in the area!.

Staff are really at the top of my list for their courtesy for foreigners, their ability to converse easily with English speaking guests and their absolute commitment to you enjoying the hotel and all the facilities it has to offer. The Chit Chat Restaurant has a brilliant menu that can satisfy adults and kids with everything from steak (which my niece had twice) to fish/chips, pizzas and a variety of other foods (local and Western tastes catered for). We also enjoyed breakfast which was amazing in terms of the wide verities to cater to every taste bud and nutritional needs. I had the best omelets and bacon as well as croissants (as good as France) and the freshest of local fruits. Cereals, Asian and India options were also well catered for - it would be impossible not to find something you like here. So well presented and catered! Hot tea, coffees, juices, etc. all available as part of the breakfast menu!. For the kids, there were waffles, pancakes, chocolate sauces, peanut butters and tons of other tastes that kids and teens want so you can't go wrong here if you're travelling with your family.

Highly recommend this hotel - its five star quality but tourist budget friendly. A beautiful establishment but one that also makes you feel you fit in while travelling as tourists who didn't back for posh-ness or for evening dining at a higher level. You felt comfortable and accepted in casual clothing!! Loved it - would feel very comfortable and safe in this area again in the future!

Amazing hotel with great rooms, excellent amenities, superior customer service, and exceptional value. The onsite restaurant is outstanding, and the morning buffet breakfast is one of the best that I have ever had. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping provided me with excellent service during my stay. The front desk staff was exceptional, and they were always ready to help whenever I had a request. This will definitely be my hotel of choice for my next visit.

Good service and very well kept property. You don't have to wait for the lifts. The rooms have been renovated and have all the modern amenities. They have a good spa in the property. i tried the in room dining and it was very good. Breakfast is good and has all the essentials as well as options to cater to international travelers.

Comfortable and stylish hotel. Nice spacious room with large shower cubicle in the bathroom. Open air pool (25m est) with sunloungers. Restaurant and bar OK but better and cheaper food in roadside restaurants in the area.

Stayed here during weekend with my family, I really enjoyed the facilities and services here. Guestroom is newly renovated, so it is clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I and my family had lunch at the restaurant, disum is so good with various choice.

The Equatorial Hotel was wonderful for our 2nd stay (10 years later!). It is basically a 5 star hotel but without the price tag of the hotels in District 1 - which is a more boring touristy area.
There’s a fantastic street food market that we ate at several times in “flower street” 100m from the hotel (fabulous flowe stalls also). Great buffet breakfast but even better is the beautiful big pool, nice gym (hardly anyone ever there) and friendly, attentive staff.
We stayed 3 nights in an upgraded room with balcony, breakfast included and only about $150 AUD per night. We booked directly with the hotel. Bought 3 pairs of genuine Hoka & Nike runners from Saigon Square (350m from Ben Than Market where we did not bother to shop at) for only $160 AUD. Short taxi ride away.

I did not stay at the hotel, but I attended work meetings there. Staff were courteous. Food was decent. It is located in District 5, around 15-20 minutes to the city center

Went for lunch dimsum buffet at here. All dishes was really delicious. The waitresses here was nice and caring.
Note that the egg tart is good but the preparation time is while long

Its was very pleasure to book this hotel , as it's have many facilities. The room are so beautiful and decorative. Even it's having a good swimming pool.

In the centre of the city, there is still a big set up. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. All facilities are in good working condition. Food options are good.
During the visit, most of the guests are from a group tour and mostly from India

I had an appointment with my friend a few days ago. We had lunch at the Chit Chat at the cafe. I feel the atmosphere here is quiet and private enough to have a talk together. The service is good and the staff is kind, they quickly served us when we had demand for tissues.

My family and I had an amazing experience at this hotel. We got 2 rooms next to each other on floor 4 by the pool. While waiting for the hotel staff to clean out the rooms, they let us stay in another room which shows how great the service here is. We ordered room service and got a delicious steak and fries meal. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms felt luxury, the rooms were very clean and the pool was beautiful. We woke up early to have some food at the buffet for breakfast and the food was delicious - especially the fried rice and bacon. Although I suggest adding mashed potatoes to the menu as they would go well with most of the dishes.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service and the whole hotel in general. This was our first visit and we hope to come again. Thank you!

Very nice hotel the rooms and suites are very nice pool and pool bar is awesome. If you are a tourist like me this is one of the place you can consider family friendly, nice food, very close to markets and night food stalls. Very friendly staff and the sauna and steam bath is very nice . 🔥🔥

I stayed at Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam two times in 2023. I am happy and satisfied with the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was good. I am particularly thankful to Khoa who is one of the concierges of the hotel. He was friendly and helpful to me when I needed assistance on several occasions 👍.

This is one of my favorite place to organize a conference. The place suits disabilities also.
They offered my team nice ballrooms with good facilities (except the lights, a bit dark at ballroom lobby) and nice teabreak menus. Set menu meals were barely good. The staff members were really supportive.
