Quán Xô Bồ Coffee & Tea

I was just walking down the main street here exploring Ho Chi Minh City when a Vietnamese man greeted me with a genuine smile and asked if I wanted any coffee. I asked if he had tea, since I was thirsty but it was a bit late for coffee for me, and he said he did and pointed me at his shop. Feeling the good vibes I decided to go in for a tea break. Inside was very pleasant and clean. With the help of the man's friendly wife and staff I ordered the mango fruit tea (pictured) and then sat down next to the coolest cafe cat named Shopee (pictured). The tea was very refreshing with chunks of fruit. Their family has a farm outside of the city where they grow avocados and they offered me some with a condensed milk dip (pictured) which was perfectly ripe and delicious. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Definitely a great place to stop for a rest with coffee/tea and a snack.

The highlight of this place is the butter toast and the whipped egg cream. This is my go to place to take a date (better to go here during off hours because it DOES GET CROWDED especially on the weekend), and usually they love the egg coffee here. The egg coffee here doesn't have that weird eggy smell that other places have and is more custardy, hope that makes sense. Seriously I've tried so many places for egg coffee and Quan Xo Bo remains at the top... other drinks are alright. The thit nuong stuff is pretty good too but kind of overpriced. Bathroom can smell sometimes but tbh I'll put up with it cos the egg coffee is so good... lmao

Nice view, delicious egg coffee (it's their signature). If you want to sit outside, remember to stay away from the A/C condensing unit.

Egg Coffee and Salted Chilly Pepper Pineapple Tea were good. The balcony view was nice and relaxing. The walk space is a bit small though.

The egg coffee here is the best in Saigon especially with the banh mi

Staff was kind enough to let us in after close so that we could have a view of the NYE fireworks on their balcony.

Drinks are delicious. I love the Breads with Cream. Price is affordable.
