FUJI OMAKASE - Japanese Restaurant

This is the greatest restaurant I have ever been too. The food and service is unbelievable. I cannot stress enough you need to visit this place! Admittedly it is expensive but it is worth every penny. Please come here you will not regret it

The chef was fantastic, made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome. Kept us laughing all night and was very polite. The food matched the service as everything was impeccable. Would definitely go again just to talk to the chef.

Came here last night, was the only customer at 5pm... loved the experience. Small joint that seats 10 and service was great. The chief is against western culture sushi so no cream cheese and anything else your sweet tooth wants. Just put that piece of fish in your mouth without soy sauce or Wasabi. I see people put one star talking about expensive and tasteless fish? First of all, if you don't know what omakase is... it's the experience of seeing the chief making each piece a la carte for you. If you go to masa in NYC you paying $1k usd for their tasteless fish. Most good fish from Japan are tasteless...with a hint of sweet. that's why bad fish is fishy! People need to go to a buffet or something if you complaining about little amount of food. Or go down the block and get a bahn mi sandwich for .40 cents usd before coming.

It’s hidden on a main road so when you enter the zen vibe is perfection. The chef with his exceptional skills guides you through a menu of pure magic. His story telling is charming and the offerings mouth watering. With the extra dollars.

Great chef interaction - Fuji's instructions on how to eat the sushi and explanations of the food, its origins, and its seasonal relevance were an incredible experience.

This was as traditional as you could get - no salmon to be found, a fact that Fuji prided himself upon.
The flavours were unique, each bite was distinct, and the blends of smoky, salty, umami, and sweet enhanced the wonderful atmosphere created by this unassuming restaurant. The decor was wonderful, the staff were polite and the main attraction - the chef - was front and centre, as it should be.

Very luxe and modern decor. 2 Menu choice for individuals - higher one obviously for better and more expensive ingredients. Today’s special was Wagyu A4, along with the usual mix of sashimi and sushi , tempura and chawamushi. Overall good quality

The owner chef is v friendly and he speaks Cantonese too!

Unforgettable time. Never expect to find such Japanese gem in the middle of Saigon. The restaurant offered a lot more than a 5 star experience. The chef really knew how to work all my senses with his experience and enthusiasm (the man speak several languages). If you don’t come here while in Saigon, you’re missing out biiiig time.

I went to Fuji during Valentine's Day 2023. Loved the food there. The chef + owner was also very friendly and he enjoyed telling us each dish he served.

Such a cute space, cozy atmosphere, staff are attentive and friendly, quality of the fish are fresh, flavours are phenomenal. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend!!! The chef is so talented and skilled in the art of omakase ❤
