If you want good quality bicycle (Trek), come to this place. The owner very accommodating.

The only place to buy Surly bikes in Saigon, good range of Trek bikes and Bontrager parts and accessories. The shop specializes in Surlys and Treks, the boss lady Mai is knowledgable, generous and will do a deal if pushed. I have bought two bikes here and also recommended a friend: the customer service is good and after service is generous.

Saigon Cycles is great! They have a very helpful English speaking staff and a decent selection of specialized cycling gear (e.g., panniers). It is rather expensive though--basically the same prices as a cycling store anywhere in the West.

Google seems to think they are closed, but they are in fact open as of March 2014, but their address is different from the one on Google.

They are located somewhere near the intersection of Phạm Văn Nghị - Bắc
and Phan Khiếm Ích in Tân Phong neighborhood.

有點沒落的感覺

Nice lady but clueless about bikes. Couldn't figure out how to take off one pedal and lost ball bearing ring when picking bike for flight. Going to closet me 25 bucks to replace. Thanks.

More expensive than motorbike services. Spare parts eg tyres (made in VN) cost 4 times than common price.

Inept & Useless - Don't bother.
Unless you go in to buy something off of their shelf (which is way overpriced) don't waste your time trying to get any mechanical service done.
I took in my back rim to get a flat fixed. I told them to just replace the inner tube. a week after that and after no call, I call and they say sorry, it'll be done tomorrow. Ok. Waited another 3 days and just went in to pick in up. No done yet. They hadn't even touched it. Said sorry, tomorrow. Not likely. I took the rim unfixed and will simply take it to the Martin 107 shop in District 4.

Worst experience ever. Went there to ask if we could borrow the pump to pump my son's bike. The Vietnamese lady on duty was super rough on the bike and yelled at me and my son for no reason. I had to take my 4 year old son who got scared outside of the store and told her to NEVER yell at a child. And they constantly block the sidewalk for their bikemeets.

Probably the most useless website i have come across. No prices and no way to add things to buy. Always beware shops that hold back prices in Vietnam - they are looking for an opportunity.
