Hang Mua Bamboo homestay

Lovely homestay located very close to Mua Cave, one of the main attractions of Ninh Binh. The hosts are lovely and very smiling. While they don’t speak much English, they make very good use of Google translate and we had no problem understanding each other. You can borrow bikes for free or rent scooters for the day. The rooms are spacious and clean. Overall, we had a lovely time and felt very looked after!

We have just spent a few days here. Loved our room up on top with an amazing view of the mountains. Comfy beds. No elevator but they bring your luggage up in a mechanical system. Lovely family homestay. They booked us tickets for the bus and even drove me to an ATM. Thankyou

We had the most wonderful stay here. It is run by a lovely family, who may not speak English, but use a translation app prolifically to the point where there doesn’t feel a language barrier. Clean rooms and a beautiful, jungle like surrounding - I would highly recommend this stay. They give you bicycles for free to travel the main sites in Ninh Binh which are all super close and do a tasty breakfast. Can’t fault it for the price at all. Thank you Bamboo Homestay!

Excellent homestay with friendly & helpful people, clean room. The host cooks very delicious meals, especially Pho so you can order the food in the homestay for your convenience. They will guide you how to organize your trip, and also offer free bicycles to go around. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a day to experience Ninh Binh. Truly a homestay, is run by a very welcoming and helpful family. Language can be a bit of problem, but rely on Google translate for help. They arranged airport drop off, breakfast and motorbike on rent very helpfully.

The rooms are neat and clean. Rooms on 3rd and 4rh floor have a great mountain view.

This place is amazing. The hosts are so kind and generous. You can use their bicycles to access Trang An, Mua Caves and Tam Coc. They provide free breakfast and will use google translate to get over any language barriers. Best accommodation so far during our time in Vietnam and the perfect location.

The owners of this beautiful homestay are incredibly nice and prevenant. They don’t speak english but with google translate everything is possible.
The beds are really comfortable and the rooms have a beautiful view on the landscapes.
The location is perfect for the main attractions ( Hang mua cave, Trang An river, Hoa Lu, Bich Dong,…) and with restaurants and small markets just nearby + free bicycles

Super friendly family running this homestay. They are flexible and very helpful when it comes to questions and requests. The rooms are clean as well as beautifully designed and the food they cook is some of the best I've eaten in Vietnam. With hang mua as a starting point for your Ninh Binh trip there can hardly be a better alternative. If I ever find myself travelling here again I will visit again!

This Homestay is just Perfect.
The overall design is super nice. Rooms were clean. The view and surrounding nature just gives you the perfect combination between countryside and modern comfort.
Family which runs this Homestay is really nice. They put all their guests first. We sat down one evening and drank tea and talked with the husband.
Unbelievable how they built everything themselve from ground up.
They have a car and also offered us to drive us around for free. They have around 7 bicycles which you can rent for free. Breakfast is included. And you can order your food the night before. Food is delicious and you can taste the love they put in.
Location is super optimal. Hang Mua is just few hundred meters away.

Definitely will stay there again!

Wow, what an amazing place and a super family! They gave us so many kind surprises. The rooms are stellar as well. So comfortable and spacious, with the best shower I've had since travelling Asia. I can't give enough praise for the bamboo homestay. 10 out of 10!!

We have stayed in so many hostels and hotels whilst we have been on our honeymoon in Vietnam and Hang Mua Bamboo honestly was by far the best. They welcomed me and my husband with a wedding cake and celebrated with us and it was so special and kind. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy, even buying bicycles when we wanted to rent them. Thank you so so so much! Xxx

Food is homecooked and excellent.

Beds are huge and comfy. Good shower. Nice pool and great view from most of the rooms.

The owner is very accommodating to both local and foreign tourists. They provide everything that the visitors need with a big smile. My friend and I are so grateful that we're able to choose a homestay where we can definitely relax. It's highly recommended!

Room was excellent, this family run homestay was very clean and all the staff were very friendly. Would recommend this place over the other ones we saw.

Amazing place with some even better views of the mountains. Fantastic family who went out of their way to help us. Couldn't recommend it any higher. Will be going back.
