Hang mua central homestay

We were only here for a short time a month ago and I am so happy we stayed here. We had an unfortunate journey on a bus, where a long trip with an early arrival had a bag with a passport left on the bus. When we arrived the owner quickly figured out we were trying to figure something out. He took charge, helped to locate the bag, and arranged for its transportation back to us (it made it another hour and a half away). Without him we would have been hooped. We are forever great full to him and his family!

Very nice place to stay! Delicious breakfast, very helpful owners and amazing view from the rooftop. I stayed for a week and I loved it! You can also rent a bike or a scooter to go around.

I've enjoyed my stay here. Extended it. Walking distance to restaurants and famous locations.

Only downside it's a bit of ninh binh and getting a taxi can be hard. Be prepared for 100k each way and no bikes so plan accordingly if heading in

We ended up spending a few extra nights here because we loved it so much. There are many options in rooms and they are very clean and nice. The best part about this homestay is definitely the owners. They are wonderful, kind people and are happy to help you out. They arranged us tickets to Cat Ba Island, have bicycle and scooter rentals, laundry service, and have incredible food! It is amazing. Especially the breakfasts which are complimentary. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

An incredibly well located homestay. You are under 5 minutes from the Hang Mua caves here, and are centrally located to all the areas attractions making it easy to get anywhere if you rent a bike (which is also reasonably priced here). We were in the bungalow room which is a well sized and functional room with the biggest bed I've ever had. Room was clean and stayed bug free with lots of space to store and hang your belongings. The whole family is friendly and helpful and even with a bit of a language barrier we felt very welcome. The included breakfast is great, particularly the Pho, and if you get the opportunity to eat on the roof take it because the views up there are incredible. Overall Ninh Binh has been the favourite region of our trip, and this homestay is the perfect base to explore from, would really recommend staying here.

Highly recommend staying here when in Nin Binh. The owners were very warm and helpful with providing information and facilities. The stay is very nearby to Mua Caves which can be reached by walk. We rented out bicycles from the stay itself. The Trang An was 4kms from the stay. The stay owners also helped us with travel booking options to Da Nang including the cab to bus station.

We stayed here for 2 days and even though the owners can’t speak much English, they tried their best to answer all our questions using a translator app. The owner cooked really well! We ate 2 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner and they were all very good. Try the crispy rice, it’s so good! We love the fried pork too! It’s a very authentic homestay that let you have a glimpse of local life and we enjoyed our 2 days here. If you are lucky, you might be able to see the owner catching fish in action. We ordered the fish for lunch the next day.

What an amazing home stay! Definitely the best stay of my trip so far! Rooms are very nice, good location and every amenity are your finger tips! The hosts are so kind and very helpful! The food is incredible and they are always willing to help you with any question you might have! These people definitely deserve 5 stars! A memorable stay for sure!

Very nice homestay to spend a few days in Ninh Binh. You can have breakfast on the roof (work in progress for the rooftop) in front of Hang Mua viewpoint and rice fields. We stayed in the room with the view and it was so nice. Bed can be hard if you have back issue (but it’s typical in Vietnam). Bathroom is very ok. Shoutout to the food. We tried 10 different dishes and all were delicious. You can rent a scooter to discover places around.

The host's family is very kind, nice and friendly. They cook really good food and willing to help us whenever we need. I truly recommend you guys to have an experience here!!

The Host uses a voice translation app to communicate. Very friendly and helps you with everything. You can also rent bike and motorbikes here as well as eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Excellent place to stay in Ninh Binh area, perfect location, comfortable rooms, and the restaurant serves great food priced fairly. The free breakfast every morning is much appreciated.

We have found the perfect place! Lovely and friendly hosts, super clean rooms with a great quiet location. Just in front of the room you will see growing herbs and fruit trees. Local shop is located few meters from this place, and you are able to buy everything you need. Local food restaurants in a walking distance, but you can have a dinner with family as well. We are absolutely mesmerised with this place.

We absolutely loved our time here. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our time with their delightful children (we especially enjoyed playing UNO with them after dinner). The family also appeared to be very respectful of those who were just seeking to get some relaxing time with minimal interaction.

The homestay is very recently constructed and offers high quality bedding and showers. This was the best value of a hotel/homestay that I slept in during my 2 week trip to Vietnam and it was on par with other hotels that cost 4 - 5 times as much.

The homestay itself is very conveniently located in a place that is both away from the hustle and bustle while being only a short walk or scooter ride away from restaurants and the main tourist attractions such as Hang Mua, Tam Coc, Trang An, and the main pagodas/temples.

We stayed in another hotel nearby (a series of thatched roof shacks mentioned in the lonely planet guide) and enjoyed our time here at the Hang Mua Central Homestay much more due to the friendliness of the staff and family as well as the much more convenient location. The homestay also offers great laundry service (which can't be said about the other location we stayed in) and you will be sure to get your clothes back dry in a convenient amount of time. The family and their staff also helped to arrange a fair priced scooter rental and a very cheap taxi ride to the train station.

The free breakfast that is included in your stay is very good and the homestay also offers a great lunch and dinner menu at more affordable rates than can be found at other homestays/hotels in the area.

In summary, this hotel offers a great value, modern amenities, and an amazing view of Hang Mua and surrounding rice paddies while also offering the opportunity to interact with very friendly people. Staying here was one of the best parts of my trip.

Located in tam coc. Best if you want to cycle around. Family run homestay. Cooks good food also. Enjoyed our stay here.

Rooms were nice and clean good pressure on the shower, homecooked food by the owners was really nice we had several meals here really enjoyed them, cheap scooter rental and checks the bikes before you ride every time you return, can also book buses taxis and trains for you even gave us water and banna for the trip and makes sure you get on the bus
May not have best English but tries his best and understands our rubbish Vietnamese
