Halise Home & Retreat Ninh Binh

- Located in a valley, close to some famous tourist spots such as Hang Mua, Trang An….. , this is a perfect place to calm your soul, enjoy the peaceful nature of Ninh Binh.
- Rooms are clean, neat, full facilities with the lovely waterlily-pond view (it is recommended to come here in April-May, the pond will be covered by lotus). Staffs are friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable, breakfast provided.
- Friendly puppies would be your companions in the time you stay here 😸
- One tiny minus point is the wifi connection is not good, and the 4G mobile is poor as well (maybe because of the mountainous region), so it is not so suitable if you wanna come here to working remotely.

My favorite homestay and accommodation. It’s so serene and beautiful with the mountains and pond as the view from your room. Can’t ask for more than that, it is perfectly showing what Ninh Binh is about. I also love that they have conditioner in the bathroom. They provide free bicycles, highly recommend to use it and ride to Hang Mua viewpoint, the sunset is amazing. I don’t ride a scooter so this is a great perk!

We had dinner there once as well. The food was good, especially enjoyed the goat soup, a signature of Ninh binh. Not so much of the chicken, it was a bit dry for us. Service was good but it takes time to cook the food, approx 20-30mins wait.

Great place to stay in Ninh Binh. The room is very clean, has a lot of light during the day, very peaceful. Imagine being surrounded with nature and family pet. They offer delicious breakfast ( for free). The staff are very friendly and thoughtful. Makes me feel like staying at home.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at HaLi Home with my girlfriend. We arrived at 4.30am from Phong Nha and the team allowed us to access the room early for check in.

They also had their premium room available and upgraded us to stay there for 2 nights. The only aspect that needs improving is regarding the walls dividing the rooms. They were very thin and you could hear the other guests in the room next to you speaking (highly suggest the owners to insulate the rooms for sound proofing) but we found the bed super comfortable and nice and airy and it didn’t bother us.

Breakfasts were very tasty and they had great dining/lunch options. It’s beautifully located in the rice fields and close to the boat tours and also the walk up the mountain. Highly recommended - thanks again for making our stay special! (Oh and they also gave us some chocolate to celebrate Valentines! :))

If this place is available - book it, you won’t regret it!

For the price we paid, it really worth it. The view was amazing and breakfast was pretty nice :) toilet was clean and had hot water :)

Amazing location on a beautiful lake and surrounded by cliffs. The rooms and communal areas are all finished to such a high standard and the staff were lovely. On the checkout day we stayed for a late train and the staff brought us complimentary fruit juice, offered us use of the showers and were incredibly accomodating. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely perfect stay here at HaLi Home! Our accommodations were spotlessly clean and comfortable and cozy. The food was more than delicious and presented to us in artform fashion, always perfectly arranged. When we wanted to take an adventure they found us English speaking tour guides willing to walk and hike the mountains with us. Bicycles were available for us to see the surrounding neighborhood and a car service was there for us to travel back to the airport! None of our needs went unanswered. Lovely place to stay 10 minutes walk from the climb to the views. Rooms are clean but walls are thin you can hear everything from next door. Service was a little slow but that's down to the wait staff not speaking English. Reception staff very helpful.

My train arrived early in the morning in Ninh Binh so I was at the hotel long before the possible check-in.
I was offered a free breakfast and I was allowed to go to my room an hour earlier without asking. Check out was also possible an hour longer than usual at no extra cost.
The facility is beautiful and well maintained.
It is outside Ninh Binh and Tamcoc, at the foot of the limestone rocks.
Free bikes and rentable scooters are available. The staff are very friendly.
Breakfast is also very diverse.
The location is perfect and the price is right here.
I will remember this accommodation and recommend it.

Great place to go to get away from city life and stay in mountains. Host Anh is really helpful and told us few interesting place to go to.

We have been to hali home and enjoyed our stay so much. We were welcomed so friendly and during the whole stay the stuff was extraordinary kind and supportive. They even let us shower after checking out. And gave us a cake for free as it was my birthday. The rooms are perfectly clean and new and the whole scenery is beautiful! We would recommend this place to everyone! A hotel with heart!!!!

After our original Airbnb nearby turned out to be deceptively listed, my partner discovered this gem of a place where we stayed for 2 nights. The people working here, Mr. Cao, Ms. Hien and others. Reflect the Vietnamese hospitality that has really impressed us. They will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a good stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, tranquil place with super friendly people. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Breakfast is great, scooter and bicycle available to go to tam coc in only a couple of minutes. Highly recommend, would come back again!

The most wonderful time in Vietnam! From the rooms and food, to the people here, everything was phenomenal. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were made every single night. The bathrooms were great and spotless as well. I felt completely comfortable everywhere in the room. The breakfast was delicious, especially the banh my and the fruit! Lastly, everyone at this homestay was so lovely. They were the warmest, kindest, most caring people I have ever met. We went on tours all over Ninh Binh for two whole days. Each day, our tour guides were so knowledgeable and kind. They showed us all the sights of the area and helped us learn so much about the area. The drivers to and from the different tourist attractions were always on time, arriving with a smile on their face each day. If you are thinking about staying in the Ninh Binh area, STAY HERE!! I could not have asked for a better time in Vietnam, all thanks to the lovely people here at HaLi Home. They mad everything so simple, going as far as arranging airport transportation even at 5:00 AM. Lastly, Mr. Cao was the kindest man in Vietnam! He took us all over the city and helped us out with everything and anything we needed. He even bought us a box of candy on the last night here! Please do yourself a favor and stay at this lovely place! You will feel so lucky to have spent time in this wonderful country with these wonderful people!!!

We were a group of 6 and we all loved our time here at Hali Home, we didn't want to leave. Staff could not have been more helpful. Views were breathtaking. The facilities in the shared room above standard. Bikes available to cycle to Mua cave and safe road to Tam Coc. We only wish we stayed longer than one night.

We ended up staying over a week here, longer than we originally were planning to, because we loved it so much. Everything is perfect, from the kind staff, to the clean rooms, delicious food, to the gorgeous property right next to the mountains. 11/10 stars.

We felt extremely lucky to have chosen Hali out of the numerous places in the area. The rooms are even better than in the pictures and the food was amazing. Riding the complemently bicycles around the local area to visit attractions like Hung Mua and Di sản Tràng An was easily one of the highlights of our whole trip.

Hali Home was such a wonderful place to stay near Ninh Binh! The rooms were comfy and spacious and clean, and they were on a little pond surrounded by mountains. Such a calming and beautiful spot. The breakfast was delicious and the food at dinner as well. Mr. Cao was so helpful! He helped us get a ride to the airport early in the morning when our flight was changed and offered us a breakfast to take with us; he also arranged various sightseeing trips for us nearby, which were fascinating and beautiful, and took us to the Cuc Phuong national park. We are so glad we chose to stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a place to stay near Ninh Binh! Thank you so much.

The friendliness and professionalism of the workers. Always taking care of you and offering whatever you need. The rooms are awesome, with amazing views, the best way to enjoy the Nihn Binh region and it’s just 5 minutes away from Tam Coc and next to the Mua Cave. The food is also very good and they have available at the hotel the option to order taxis and motorbikes at better prices and they also offer bikes for free, which is highly recommended as you have a lot of places to visit nearby.
