Rose's Gara Bar & Restaurant

This quickly became one of our favourite places to have coffee. Iced coconut coffee here was amazing, so much so that we came back again. Complimentary bottled water (large) is a lovely touch. This was one of my all time favourite Bac Siu’s too! Only negative is we wished it open earlier!

Absolutely loved this place! Rose, the owner, is a very nice person who went the extra mile by giving us tips on what to see around the area. The food and coffee were incredibly delicious. To add to the charm, they have a very cute puppy and a rabbit. The restaurant also offers a variety of games like darts, making it a fun and entertaining spot to spend time. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming back for a few days in a row. I definitely recommend this place for a great time!

Great chicken burger, nice fresh bun. And a super mango smoothie. Practiced my putting while I was waiting for my food. Rose is such a friendly lady. Helped me plan a place to visit.

If you feel like you want a good salad western style, that’s the place, specially after eating the whole mid-travel lots of vietnamese food, the salad was very nice! And the vege options (tofu tomato sauce was good) too. Rose was also very lovely and gave us advices for traveling around! Go see by yourself and enjoy!

Once again google reviews have recommended the best food in town. And rose is so lovely! My partner and I sat in with some games and had probably one of the most satisfying burgers in Asia.

She used our Google Maps and showed us several areas to visit and explore in the surrounding areas. She was very friendly and helpful!

Rose took care of me personally and was so incredibly kind. She showed me the best spots around and made me THE BEST coconut coffee I’ve ever tasted. 10/10 recommend. Absolutely lovely

It’s a cute little place to take a rest and eat something. The food is very delicious the staff is nice and they even have card games to play while you are waiting for the freshly cooked meal! We loved it here and recommend it to everyone! It’s not expensive and you get a lot for what you pay.

I love coffee very much, but it has to be prepared exactly the way I like it. in this restaurant I found my favorite coffee in Ninh Binh. The guys cooked it the way I wanted for the last three days, I drink drinks at lunch, only in this place.
You can also play darts and mini golf here. There is free parking and most importantly very kind staff!
I don’t know whether it’s always like this or not, but for all the time I’ve been here, many foreigners come for breakfast and lunch, because it’s very tasty. Thank you 🖤

This place can easily be accessed from the main road. We walked from our stay around 8.30pm. This was one of the few restaurants that was open. The ambience is very welcoming, a lot of board games, puzzles and other things to keep you distracted while rose prepares fresh food. The beer is cheaper than food. ;) The seats and tables are recycled from tyres . The place is well lit and the food is delicious

Happened to cycle by this restaurant and damn are the burgers good! The coffee is perfect as well (not paid to say this at all). You seriously have to drop by if you're otw to mua cave as their service & food is really worth every penny! Very homely food served by awesome owners 🥳

Nice place to casually have a meal. I got the vegetarian fried rice (vegetables, tofu and egg) it was a big and tasty portion. The service was good, the waiter was friendly, he offered us bananas and water. They have board games and WiFi. It is a 10 min walk from the Mua Cave.

I visited with my husband in February 2023 this cute little place. Vietnamese coffee was out of this world as well as the snacks we had at very affordable prices. The owner is a nice young girl who is a lot of fun and does all things with her hands, not just the food but the decoration too. The place is very eco friendly as is the owner's mindset, something rare for Vietnam that needs to be encouraged.
Very much recommended. Clean and safe food which is our priority in Vietnam. Tastier than the other two eateries situated closer to the entrance of Mua Cave that we tried before we stumbled upon Rose's Gara. We ended up having drinks and food there every day during our stay in the area.

Great place with delicious food! I went there almost every day in Ninh Binh and I love the vibe. There are vegetarian options, very tasty and good value of money. The owners are very nice, there are also many board games to play. Highly recommended!

Amazing service, the owner was so friendly and welcoming (even gave us free water and fruit). The food was beautiful (we ate here every night of our stay). The board games add a really nice touch to the atmosphere

DON'T PASS BY...STOP!!! First, Rose is the most delightful woman and host with very good English if that is important to you. We had the fresh spring rolls with chicken two different times and they were excellent. My wife had the falafel burger which comes with french fries/chips. She is not a vegetarian and absolutely loved it. We had large Hanoi beers, $15k each. Every time we ate here we were treated to two bananas and a large water at the end of our meal. How awesome is that when you've been on a bicycle all day. Rose has plenty of games to play while you relax with your friends or kids. There's UNO!! Three dart boards. I can't express enough how Rose's is a special place I feel you will enjoy. There is scooter and bicycle parking here. A very clean restaurant, bathroom. You will be treated very well here. The falafel burger was $80k, the fresh spring rolls with chicken were $50k.

We came because of a recommendation and am so thankful.
I’m not a vegetarian, but loved the falafel burger so much that returned the next day to eat it again.
The ambience is cool, colorful and they have lots of games (chess, cards etc) to entertain during a beer talk.

The people were too kind, we needed money and they took us by moto to an ATM and even treated us with some watermelon as dessert. The price is really good as well.

Really cute place with nice ambiance, quiet music, fun board games and good food (many vegetarian options!). We especially enjoyed the fresh spring rolls with chicken, coconut coffee and also her ginger tea is the best in the valley.

Super lovely owner. She gave us lots of cool tips for our trip and the food was great.
We also got to play board games!

Special mention for the fact that she organises events to help local students practice English with foreigners.
