I and my girlfriend have only one day in Ninh Binh, so we really really want to have a good tour organizer. After carefully researched in Google and TripAdvisor we contact with Liem. He very professional and conscientious our questions about Ninh Binh. We meet together at his homestay - Tam Coc Cherry at 7:30am, after greeting and quick inform we start... First, we go to Trang An grottoes with 3hours in a boat, landscapes is fabulous. We very lucky when did boating earlier when less tourists in river. After Trang An we went to Mua cave and hike up to the top of mountain, the view is very very nice. Noon time we eating Vietnamese food together at local restaurant with hosts - friend of Liem, the food is very tasty and fresh. More highlight for the trip when in the afternoon we cycling in very very authentic village where we didn’t see any tourists. In the way for cycling Liem introduces for us a lot of thing about daily of local people, history religion in area and Vietnam. Highly recommend

We joined the tour with Liem who took us first through the scenic and traditional countryside away from touristic routes by bike. Then we took a nice boat trip with a local farmer. We continued our trip to the a pagoda from which we enjoyed the sunset in this one of a kind landscape. Really a must do in Tam Coc if you don’t want to take the normal tourist routes. Perfect trip with a lot of insights in culture and the life in Vietnam.

We had an amazing trip with Li am !! We went to less touristy areas and more authentic places and it was really nice!! The view point and the cruise was really special and Li am is a great guide really kind and nice and knows to spick English fluently .

I took the tour around Tam Coc with Liem, which was great as you get to see a side only very few tourists see. A very authentic, simple tour. There was a bike tour, a boat tour and the brilliant view from the Pagoda.
As I also wanted to see the Wetlands and the Cuc Phuong National Park, Liem basically created a personalised tour for me and took me on his motorbike. All for a fair price. You can tell he has experience in touring tourists around, yet he is not pushy and knows the balance between informing you and let you enjoy the surroundings.

Liem was a great guide and was able to provide us with many intricacies into Vietnamese culture and lifestyle. He was very knowledgeable of the area and the country. We were able to do a very authentic tour through the country farms.

We went on this bycicle tour on the first day we arrived in Tam Coc. It was the best choice for a short trip in Tam Coc. The scenery was magnificient and Liam was a wonderfull guide. He knows a lot about the area and Vietnamese history in whole. The little boat trip he took us was miles away from tourists, in 3 months this was the most chill place I witnessed in South East Asia. I highly recommend the tour to everyone.

We spend here 1 night and we have really good time. The owner of the place upgrade our room for the delux, he help us with all the information about the sight seeing around and even took us to a free authentic tour in the villages and explain allot about history and the culture. He was so nice and welcoming and make our experience more than great! Highly recommended

We had an amazing bicycle tour around tam coc including a boat tour very rustic and authentic tour in an area with no touristss but us which is really which is really hard to find in vietnam one of the best experiences we have had in vietnam highly recomended

We attended a tour provided by Liem. He is a great guide. He shows us the life of locals. We cycled through the nice beautiful nature. The tour is a great option how to know this area. I recommend it!

We stayed at the home stay for one night and took a trip with the owner. The home stay is very clean and nice and owner was great. He took to some beautiful places that no tourists get to. Highly recommended, amazing experience.

Bicycle tour + boat trip + sunset from mountain top! Liem took us on a bicycle tour through quiet unconventional areas with locals, through absolutely beautiful mountains and paddy fields. He had in-depth knowledge of rural life and agriculture, and we had great chats about authentic Vietnamese life. The boat trip helped us feel closer to nature than the popular touristy Tam Coc boat tour. We last climbed a rocky mountaintop with Liem that gave gorgeous views of the sunset.

I contacted Liam as a recommendation from two Dutch girls I met in my hostel in Hanoi. I was having trouble finding a good tour at a reasonable price and was unsure what would be the best way to travel solo. That is until I messaged Liam on WhatsApp and he broke down every detail of the tour for me. He offered to pick me up from my homestay but I met him in Tam Coc instead. We then hopped on a bicycle and travelled through a remote village where he taught me about the local funerary traditions and economy of the town. Afterwards, we came across a local woman who took us on a quiet boat ride through the rice fields with the most incredible views. She offered for us to stay and relax in her hammock and play with her kittens and puppies. I had mentioned an interest in exploring some caves since I hadn't gotten the opportunity to do so prior to arriving in Ninh Binh and Liam took me to one of only two cave pagodas in the area. The stalagtites and stalagmites along side the altars of worship were incredible. Finally, we took a hike up to Bich Dong Pagoda and hiked to the top of the mountain where we took incredible sunset pictures. This tour is a must for anyone and everyone trying to experience the quiet serenity and beauty of Ninh Binh.

Maybe one of the most authentic tours ever done. The guide, the bikes, the tracks, the trails and the landscape.
He explained a lot of things and answered all questions.
After a crowded time in Hanoi we experienced the first time the silence and the sounds of nature in Vietnam.

Please, please do the tour with Liem. The tour takes around 4 hours and includes a bicycle tour through tam coc nature landscape, a boat tour where nowhere else is going. So you’re just by you’re own. It is really romantic. After this you can if you want habe local seafood catched by the local fisherman. When we were there he has really cute puppy dogs :) to sum up for 150k this is a tour you will definitely remember compared to the regular touristic tours :) thank you once again Liem!!

uthentic tour, easy and chill. No tourrists, we bycicled through nice landscapes and liem explained some things about the area, then authentic boat tour in a quiet river and tried the local rice wine. I also stayed in his homestay, Liem is a really nice guy will help you in everything you need and he has good english and the room was good, big and clean

Liem's local tour is absolutely wonder. For an excellent price, he takes you off the tourist track by bike and boat. His English is excellent. I whole heatedly recommend this tour!
