Love this place. We stopped here 3 times during our stay in Tam Coc. The desserts are delicious, the egg coffee is divine and the Caesar salad is the perfect home comfort food. Cocktails are fabulous too - the pineapple ginger smash was very tasty and definitely morish without being sweet. The vibe is chilled out with blankets to keep off the chill while sitting in a booth by the pool relaxing to Western hits.

Our family of 5 were in ninh bin for a few days, this place was excellent food, if we had stayed. A few more days we would have gone back. The burgers were good, service was good and the kids loved the shakes they said they were fancy :) highly recommend if your in the area to check it out!

Excellent food. Known for its burgers 🍔 and pizza 🍕 but had the surf and turf. Very good. Highly recommend the sangria. One area of improvement would be the wait staff. They are very friendly but need to pay more attention to the tables. The chef/owner took my order, which is cool, but his waitress needs to pick up the pace. Overall, great. Would go back for the menu.

FYI, they are open for breakfast but only regular menu. No breakfast options.

Very surprisingly one of the best burgers we have ever had! Also the fries were definitely the best we’ve had of the whole trip. Staff was great, not too present but just enough. They also kindly offered extra bacon on the side which we didn’t order. Would definitely recommend the place! It was very quiet - just like the rest of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh at this time of the year (end of August), the seating was cosy and the ventilation was great despite the heat during the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone craving Western food. Thank you to the whole team ☺

One of the best restaurants in Vietnam we‘ve been to. Sure it’s a tad more expensive than eating locally, but if you’re craving for great burgers and a cozy atmosphere it’s a must visit.
Staff is really forthcoming and food was prepared really fast.
Will definitely come here again!

Fully loaded falafel burger, loved the avocado & pumpkin in it. The chips were really good too & they had Heinz tomato sauce on the table which was a win. Loved the vibe of the place too!

Our daughter visited here and said it was epic, so we arrived in Ninh Binh and tried it ourselves. We met LaLa who was the manager and she was awesome, with very good English. LaLa was training Hung, who was new and so embarrassed, but tried really hard to talk in English. The venue is fantastic and the food really good, with lots of choice, the pizza is very good. Would recommend this place to all visitors, warm welcome, good food and fantastic location, what more do you want!

What a wonderful place to eat and chill! The staff is very friendly and hardworking and in the evening they lit a fireplace which made the atmosphere (although it's great already: lots of wood, plants, an open space, beautiful straw roofs) even nicer. Would definitely recommend coming here if you're around. 10/10

Not traditionally, but so good! Loved it to have something different after eating traditional food every evening (also really good). Pizza made in their own wooden oven and helped by a native English waiter. Thanks!

One of the best restaurants in Vietnam! Ate there three times because it was just so delicious. Amazing pizza, hamburgers, schnitzel. And the highlight is their desserts (Nutella pizza and the cheesecake were my favorite). A little bit experience but definitively worth it! Located a bit far, 12 - 15 minute walk from tam coc center.

It’s one of the best western food restaurants in Vietnam (not including big cities 😉). For all the road trips in Northern Vietnam, it’s not easy to find a restaurant like Chookie. The is very good. The vibe is nice. The employees speak English well. High recommend!

After reading the reviews we decided to go to this place to have a good hamburger. I was not let down at all being from the states it was a good hamburger And good homemade fries also. They have an excellent local beer called NADA which is very cheap also 😊

Not bad for a western style restaurant in Ninh Binh.
Reasonable price, taste not authentic but acceptable.
Recommend.

Hands down one of the most atmospheric restaurants I have ever been to- not just in Vietbam or Asia.

Probably the best cuisine in Tam Coc, nice and relaxed spot. Good service, draft beer and good cocktails as well. I tried the ceasar wrap and was fenomenal

The place is clean, the food was great, the coffee was wonderful, and the staff were awesome they went extra mile to even book a private car for us to reach hai Duong. They even served us a slice of blueberry cheesecake on the house for taking long to serve the food. Great service great people.

Delicious food!! We both had falafel burgers and it was delicious. Good portion sizes. Also had the Nutella banana pizza to share (it's very big!!) - fresh dough and baked in a stone pizza oven. The staff were wonderfully attentive and the service was quick. We will definitely be coming back!

Prices are good for western food and atmosphere.
Comfortable seats and nice open environment.
Friendly staff.

Wonderful place to chill for a bit and to enjoy relatively unique dishes for Vietnam! Although we love the traditional Vietnamese food, it was really nice to have some different meals. Also a very chill place to wait for your night train from Ninh Binh train station and very kind staff!
