Bai Dinh Bamboo Coffee & Restaurant

We decided to drop by this shop when riding a motorcycle around the Bidinh temple and we’re glad we did. The fresh fruit juice was super refreshing without added sugar and the condensed milk coffee is just made in traditional Vietnamese way with the metal screen filter. Owner was so nice and they have 3 beautiful friendly dogs if you like pets. They also run a farm stay so it would be a nice option if you’d like to stay in a quaint area and enjoy ninh binh.

First place in Vietnam to serve us a proper ca phe sua da (coffee with condensed milk and ice with that little metal strainer on top of the cup) and it was delicious and refreshing! If you are anywhere in the area around the pagoda or boat tours, it is worth the excursion through the picturesque countryside to come here.

What a find we stumbled across when searching for a lunch spot on the way to Bai Dinh Pagoda! All the food was spectacular, we had the popcorn chicken, fries, sweet potato fries and the tofu in tomato sauce with rice. All we would order again and the popcorn chicken superseded that of KFC by a truckload. The fries were particularly noteworthy, being some of the best we’d had in a long time. The tofu in tomato sauce also had exceptional flavour and we would definitely order again. The staff were lovely as well, going above and beyond to make us comfortable as we arrived dripping wet from the rain and they offered us towels and blankets to dry off and stay warm! The iced yoghurt drinks was scrumptious and refreshing. The restaurant also had the cutest dogs and the puppies were absolutely darling.

I went to Bai Temple then came here to drink coffee with you. Delicious Vietnamese cafe, friendly dogs.

Both the drinks and the food were amazing. I would 100% recommend the restaurant and would even go back!
