The Refinery Restaurant

It's very French style. It's a historical building. It used to be a restaurant converted from an opium factory. It's an affordable French food. The waiter recommended it enthusiastically. He also said that we ordered too much to pack, but it's just right for us haha. Let me go back to France.

Outstanding dinner at The Refinery restaurant. We dined on 23/12 and arrived at the restaurant earlier than my booked timing for dinner. The manager was kind enough to offer us a table despite arriving early for our reservation. We took full advantage of the happy hour promotion and ordered several cocktails and beers before ordering dinner. The cocktails were excellent, although a little pricey compared to other bars around Ho Chi Minh. The food was also great. We sampled several dishes including pastas and the steak. The steak was superb and well cooked exactly how I requested for it: Medium.

I also want to thank the waiters that took care of us during our meal. Although they did not speak English very well, they had a very good sense of reasoning and hence, they could understand our requests very easily. Props to the management for training the staff very well. I will surely return when I'm back in Ho Chi Minh.

Lovely French restaurant tucked away in a courtyard through a little archway. Great ambience with relaxed service. Best confit of duck I've ever had (even in France). Husband loved his fillet mignon. Even the dressed lettuce leaves were delicious!!

I love the open air vibe here, the food is good with reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful! If u come for happy hour and get 30% discount, it will be a great choice for an afternoon joy!

An outstanding and affordable restaurant with family vibe for who is looking for fine food experience with a medium budget. This place really made me miss the restaurant I worked in Canada.
The food is more about traditional european so maybe you won't be surprised. However their quality, their finest, their freshness are impressed. You can really feel every vegetables they used in the stock of their soup (we have a carrot soup and pumpkin soup), the pumpkin is remarkable, nothing fancy but really tasty. The homemade fettuccine is perfect, the thickness, the length,...are spot-on. I realized that the flavor of everything is already adjusted to fit with both the foreigner and the local people which is great also, not many place can do that successfully.
The service is simply the best service I ever experienced in Vietnam. The waiters will keep their eyes on you every minute to make sure everything is okay, even when you stop eating for too long.
Totally, I will comeback to this place if I have a chance. This place will give you the best experience ever in a restaurant, way better than the famous brand and chain restaurants we already knew in Saigon.

By far, one of the best restaurants in Saigon. Classic French bistro in the heart of Asia. A wonderful collection of bistro classics, many with a subtle Vietnamese twist. Great wine list, superb cocktails and friendly yet truly professional service. Big shout out to the manager, such a lovely, knowledgeable gentleman.
This is a must visit!

Came here for dinner. We had chicken, fillet mignon, sweet heart cocktail and tiramisu. Very good quality and reasonable price. Should have taken photos of the food but i forgot. Nice staff member who offered me a salad because i did not want mashed potato.

What an amazing experience...great location and superb ambiance, good food and very nice cocktail choices. The service was outstandingly good and fast. Pet friendly outdoor setup. We had forgot our doggos water bottle at home and staff was very nice enough to organize a pet bowl of water. Best to reserve a table since after 8pm it starts to get crowded. Will be visiting again soon.

Must must come by and have their chocolate pudding! Similar texture to brownie. Warm base with icy vanilla ice cream on top that somehow makes it more tasty. Super chocolaty with rich flavor(but not to sweet). Pls try this one if u need dessert energy. I believe that I will be back to Refinery soon!!!

Overall the experience at The Refinery was really good. We were greeted at the entrance with smiles and cordiality. Food and drinks were really good along with the service. We really enjoyed the dinner and we will surely return again.

A fine dine restaurant where food is cooked to perfection. Love it

The food was delicious! Ordered the duck thigh confit with mash potato, it was cooked to perfection, the duck just melt in your mouth. The complementary bread were so crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was impecable, Matt the manager was so accomodating and friendly. A must try if you are in Saigon.

I've been to The Refinery contless times for our anniversary. The atmosphere is unique, food is delicious and service is always on point. Recommended!

My husband and I are from New York City and this restaurant was the best ! we had French ham and cheese sandwich with fries and salad. It was so delicious.! The best thing I had in Vietnam!

This place is in a place where they have a few other places to eat and it has outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. Romantic atmosphere with low lighting... A delicious Italian menu and food was great !!!
