Sao Sa King Bath

A wonderful, relaxing soak after a cold rainy day of hiking around temple sites. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ninh Binh.

We highly recommend this experience! It was so nice and peaceful to relax in a large soaking tub with herbal fragrances and enjoy some tea following our previous hike to the top of Mua Cave (500 stairs). You control the temperature of the water for the tub. Following the soak we were able to try apricot wine made on sight. We loved it so much, we were able to purchase 1L to bring home with us. We also learned the history of the bodhi tree and were able to see beautiful artwork made by the leaves of the tree. Recommend this experience- very relaxing and nice!

My husband and I love herbal hot tub so much. Best herbal hot tub ever. If you were tired and body ache, you should come and try . We went here in 2018, ordered more herbal concentrated herbal liquid bottles in 2019. And this year we came back. I totally recommend everyone come and enjoy the herbal bath here.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with these. My first time ever going to a “bath.” I don’t regret it one bit! From the appetizer tea and Guava snacks to the aroma of the essential oils in the bath. I shared a 2 person bath with my girlfriend and my friend had one to himself. And 6’1, the 2 of us fit comfortably in the bath and enjoyed our time. There were some school children present to learn botany, and as children are they were a bit noisy, but I had brought my Bluetooth speaker to listen to calming music. You can control your own temperature in the bath and stay as long as you like! (Or are able). We even bought some soaps and oils after our bath from the gift shop. These baths were one of our highlights! Would definitely recommend it

Totally worth it. If you're staying in Tam Coc, rent a motorbike and make the trip (it's super easy). Closes at 5:30 so try to get there at 4:00pm at the latest!

In today's cold day, the herbal spa was a very pleasant experience.

Ly was a nice host and gave us a short presentation about the herbs (including live samples of some of them) and her husband's project before we took the bath. The bath was nice, warm (we poured some more warm water later), even quite big for just 2 people. Be careful to put all your clothes into the provided bin - anything left on hooks (touching the wall) got soaked :) The food was a couple of pieces of pomelo, dried banana pieces and many packaged sweet snacks (not bad, just the description seemed like we will receive something home-made). On the other side, the tea was perfect. Would drink it all day! They also called a reliable taxi with good price for us which was a nice touch. Overall, relaxing experience.

PS: They didn't push us tu buy any of their cosmetic products so thanks for that as well. (And that is also why we bought some, in the end.)

Amazing family run herbal baths! Highly recommend stopping here after visiting Bai Dinh pagoda as it is just a few minutes away. Also worth the trip just for this destination alone. Products are very well priced and make nice gifts as well as the ingredients are harvested locally.

awesome day at the spa. you get a tour of the People's Co-operative herb farm where they grow all their botanicals organically then end the day with the nicest big roman bath filled with herbal tea of soothing herbs you just saw growing. dark brown aromatic water so healing and soothing after all the hiking and climbing around Tam Coc/Ninh Binh... I thoroughly enjoyed my soak in the giant tub (would easily fit 8 people)

they also sell their own tinctures and balms. I bought some herbal toothpaste that is my new favourite. Very cool place! Power to the People!

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Ninh Binh! The bath was relaxing and rejuvenating and we loved learning more about the herbs and how Sao Sa King Bath and the products they create are supporting the local community.

A must-visit in Ninh Binh. Interesting tour and very relaxing bath.

Une belle expérience de bains aux herbes ( On peut comparer cela au Onsen au japon) ou l'accueil fut fort sympathique. Situé proche de la pagode de bai Dinh, il peut être intéressant de concilier les 2 après une longue visite du site.
Un thé à l'arrivée et une bouteille d'eau offerte pendant le bain d'une heure. Après le bain un vin d'abricot maison succulent.
Pour une heure ils vous en coutera 150000 Vnd pour une petite baignoire ou 250000 pour la belle baignoire en pierre carré.
Une très belle expérience que je conseille fortement.

17h30 sẽ đóng cửa nên nếu muốn trải nghiệm nên đến ít nhất trước 15h30, dù thời gian tắm tối đa là 2 tiếng nhưng khi đến vẫn cần chờ 1 chút để nhân viên chuẩn bị.
Bồn tắm rộng rãi, khá kín đáo, rèm cửa trong phòng tắm nên làm dài thêm.
Trong phòng có sẵn khăn lau và đồ bơi cho ai cần.
Khi tắm có thể thêm nước nóng nếu cần, dược liệu thơm, không gian yên tĩnh.
Ngoài tắm thuốc, ở đây còn bán các chế phẩm từ dược liệu như xà phòng, dầu gội... còn có thể đăng ký tự làm xà phòng, hay tham quan hợp tác xã (cần đăng ký trước)
