Trang An River View Homestay

Really nice location (surreal), situated outside town along a minor river. Ideal for cycling/scooter to the nearby attractions.

Room was great, good shower, comfy bed, secure and clean. Food was really good, we are there numerous times. Recommend eating out near the river 🙂

The staff are attentive, friendly and extremely accommodating. I forgot my camera one night and it was waiting for me the next morning behind desk. They offer bikes and scooters, and also refreshments to buy.

Massage was also really good, I'd recommend!

Really clean place with delicious food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. You just needed to ask the staff for a pen or something and they would lend you one. Great service and the breakfast was delicious. There were plenty of options and I especially liked the pancakes. The dinner was great too. Everything there was so good.

Thanks for everything! This is the best place I have ever stayed when traveling. They really take care of people and make the effort in order to make sure people are really enjoying themselves and feel comfortable. All the facilities were really clean, good breakfast, bikes for free, excellent staff.

I stayed here for a night while riding south from Hanoi. The homestay is located in a beautiful area, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I met other travelers here and had a pleasant time socializing. Breakfast and coffee were included with the room as well!
I would return here if I find myself coming through the area once again :)

Excellent location right in the mountains. Great cheap food with free breakfast. I forgot some stuff in the hostel and they arranged for it to be brought to me in my next stop. These guys are great!

Lovely family that hosts the guests with a small dog. Very good value for money in a quiet, natural place that invites to chill after a day out. We loved staying in Trang An River View Homestay and definitely recommend to do so to others!

Our stay at Trang An River View Homestay was amazing and exceeded all expectations.

The location is right in the heart of the breathtaking scenery of Ninh Binh. You'll get to wake up to the beauty of the riverside and green surroundings. They also have a wharf overlooking the river, which was the perfect spot to unwind and relax.

The on-site restaurant serves up delicious and affordable food. They have everything you could need from water to treats like beer and ice cream. It was super convenient having everything right there!

You can also rent scooters at a reasonable cost and bicycles for free, which made exploring everything in the area easy. We rented a scooter for 1 day and they gave us a map and guidance on how to get to everything we wanted to see.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and professionalism. They even went the extra mile by providing us with a bag of snacks and water for our train journey free of charge!

I was super impressed, and can't recommend this place enough for anyone who is wanting to visit Ninh Binh 🙂

Very good resort with excellent staff and service. Stayed for 3 nights and loved every bit of it. The location is awesome, away from the city and very peaceful. The staff is very accommodative and help to complete every request we had. Since we are vegetarians, they even agreed to heat outside food and provide cutlery etc. We rented our bikes as well from them to roam around and the only issue it the road leading to the resorts are narrow and filled with potholes which will be troubling on a bike or even car.

Our stay at the Trang An river homestay was nothing short of amazing. From the warm welcome to the incredible food, we felt like cherished guests throughout our time there. The added bonus of complimentary bike rentals and affordable motorbike options made exploring the beautiful surroundings a breeze.
One standout feature was the stunning pool, nestled in the midst of nature. It provided a refreshing and relaxing escape from the heat, with breathtaking views all around.

This was one of the best and most well run accomodations that my partner and I have stayed at in our 6 month long trip around Southeast Asia! The family & staff that run it were incredible - so kind, friendly, helpful and very organised.

On top of that, the grounds are beautiful - so much greenery, and the deck looking out over the water and limestone karsts was a highlight for us. Perfect for an afternoon drink and snack to watch the sunset!

The location is away from the busy tourist area of Tam Coc which we really loved, it felt like a haven away from the crowds. There were also still plenty of places around to eat at (mostly other homestays and a few cafes) and all of the food we tried at the accomodation's restaurant was delicious.

We also hired a scooter from them for the day which was very convenient and were given a map and recommendations of where to go which was great.

Last but not least, the room was perfect! Plenty of space, very clean and quite private since it was a little bungalow.

I was really, really impressed by our whole stay and it was probably some of the most relaxing days we've had. If we are ever back, we will definitely stay here again (ideally for longer than the 4 nights we had this time)!

Super location to stay for a few days, quieter than Tam Coc but great views, rooms and restaurant. You can get free bicycles or hire a motorbike for the day for 100,000. Pool table and swimming pool and they can change money if you’re running low on cash.

Stayed here for 1 night and it was great. Food was excellent staff were very friendly and helpful. Bike rental was reasonable price and easy.

We stayed at Trang An Riverview Homestay during Oct 2023 and had a lovely experience. This homestay is beautiful and in midst of nature. Its even beautiful than the photos posted here! Their food, service and location - everything was excellent. Thu Giang helped us with all things. She shared lots of info and also helped to organize our trip to Cuc Phuong National park. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Ninh Binh in future!

Please note: 1) Their approach road (1 km+) is quite bad and full of potholes. Its the inconvenience you will have to bear for such a beautiful location :) . 2) You can ask you queries or even book the room by contacting them directly on whatsapp. I suggest you book this way. 3) They provide scooters on rent but pls check the brakes etc. before renting, as some scooters are not in good condition.

Extremely friendly staff. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice lodging and pool. Great view of the river. Will definitely go back again.

Amazing location, sitting between limestone cliffs. There is also a lake on the property with a dock where you can walk out to the middle and enjoy the lotus flowers in bloom. Rooms are clean and large. Staff were quick to help us with anything we needed. We used bicycles from the property that were free. Motorcycles also available (unsure if there is a fee to rent). Cabs are more expensive than Grab. Breakfast wasn’t anything fancy but sufficient.

Beautiful spot, so much so that we even extended our stay here. Great base for exploring the region. Lovely rooms and amenities, staff very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing piece of the world!

We've stayed almost 3 days here. Excellent guest service and the beautiful surrounding. One of the best vacation that we've experienced by far thanks to this beautiful home stay. Food were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for your excellent service. Will be visiting there again soon.

Such a cute place to stay. Very scenic and the hosts are so sweet. Making sure you are taken care of for sure. Helped me book my bus and also gave me a goody bag for my journey. The food was tasty as well!

Here for lunch while touring Ninh Binh. Good service and food. Try phở it’s not bad.
