Yen Binh Homestay

Amazing homestay in Ninh Binh. The owner is kind, generous and friendly. Despite the language barrier, we spent an evening drinking green tea and communicating through google translate.

The accommodation itself is beautiful, clean, romantic and close to the attractions. We rented a scooter from him and explored.

Food was tasty, generous portions and fair prices. 10/10 would book again!

Choose here because of great reviews across platforms and I can confirm all the nice words are true! The host is really caring and helpful. Rooms have basic utilities, but exceptional clean and safe. We'd spent 2 days here and met no inconvenience here. The only backside is the distance from the centre, the path is hard to find if you're not familiar. But overall I think this is the best place for retreating among nature, highly recommend!

I just wanted to get some rest in a peacefully place. This house is absolutely fabulous : the view, the pomelo’s from the garden and most of all… I’ve finally found where to can🏃. In this little peace of heaven, Mr Yen Binh manages everything, from the beginning until the end of the day, good VN tea included and typical dishes too. Thanks Mr Yen, it was really nice to meet you!

One of the most difficult review to write. Position absolutely perfect for visiting everything in Ninh Binh.
Exactly in the middle.
The homestay is at the end of a street completely isolated between fields.
Nice garden where is possible to relax on two hammocks.
Simply room with everything you need.
The big problem is the communication.
Only the man speak quite English.
Google translate is fine but not easy overall.
The man is a farmer and if he is not at home you have to wait.
For us this has been the only problem.
We give 5 stars because they are very helpful and literally very kind.
They stored our lagguage and let us have a shower out of time.
We appreciated this very much.
Is also possible rent motorbike.
Very useful thinking about the position of homestay and locations of the main attractions.

This is by far the best experience I could have asked for in Vietnam. The host is so friendly and cannot do enough to help you. He will show you around, introduce you to local people and produce and treat you like family. The property it surrounded by gardens, rice fields and mountains in a secluded corner only about 5km from town. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable. They will organise everything for you from tours, transport, food and drink. His wife makes the most amazing meals and everything you eat and drink he grows and produces himself. I cannot say enough good things about the place and this review and photos do not do it justice for what an amazing experience the stay has been.

Great place to stay in Ninh Binh, it is surrounded by awesome rock formations and rice paddies, and is situated on a beautiful farm, we actually thought the atmosphere was better than the surrounding areas.
There are only two rooms so noise is very minimal and you can have a really peaceful experience. The rooms are large and clean, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. His dinner that he makes for you is delicious, authentic vietnamese food and from what I understand he grows his own produce in the garden out back (its an amazing garden)It was probably the best meal I've eaten in Vietnam after living in Saigon for 6 months. He was also helpful in providing a scooter for us to explore the area and booking our limosine(only 150k) back to Hanoi.
Highly recommended if you want a unique stay in Ninh Binh.

This real homestay is own by the the most kindly people I have ever met. We came to Ninh Binh to see beautiful landscapes and we end up sleeping in the middle of it between the mountains. They have scooters for rent so you can get anywhere in the area. Food is also amazing.

Where I do even start ? We arrived to this lovely Homestay around 4am and the owner of the house welcomed us with the most lovely smile, some coffee and a little conversation in a while his wife prepared our room, the room was perfect clean and tidy , breakfast is tasty and different every day, they offer you all the time tea and for dinner local rice wine which is amazing we had dinner one day and it was absolutely delicious and huge. I really recommend this Homestay far from the city with stunning views and lovely fumily. They are farmers so you will eat every single vegetable from their garden which make this place unique.

This amazing little piece of earth is situated around 5 kilometres outside of Ninh Binh on the countryside and is sheltered by enchanting mountains. The attractions of the surroundings are easy to reach by bicycle or scooter, which can be rented at the homestay. Most importantly, Hai and Hailong are the loveliest hosts ever. Extremly kind-hearted and friendly couple with the goal to make your visit as pleasant as possible. They are really gifted cooks and most of the delicious food is either out of their lovely garden or their farm. Just finger-licking. Even the home-made rice wine is a treat. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. There are also hammocks for relaxing and enjoying the amazing garden and mountain view. We warmly recommend this homestay and would like to thank the lovely couple für the beautiful time.

Great mountain and rice paddy views from all rooms. Clean bathroom, green garden with lots of trees, fruit and vegetables. Extremely nice and friendly owners. Definitely stay again when getting a chance to visit Ninh Binh.

Tranquil, peaceful and lovely homestay. The view is nice and you go through rice field on the way to the place. The owner is nice they dont speak English but you can use Google voice app to get by. Good price for the room. We also asked for dinner as well which was more enough for two people. Place probably hard to reach except if you have a motorbike. It is close to Buffalo homestay. Instead of turning right to Buffalo go straight and its the first house on the left. They have wifi, hot shower and clean bathroom. Overall happy with their service and room.

Small cottage surrounded by nature. Absolutely beautiful in early morning. Clean & comfortable. The host was super nice & attentive. You should listen to his recommendations for food & drinks.

Beautiful , authentic VNese farmer family experience. The meal was nice and I loved the garden view. Just a little hard to find as the steet has no name and house has no number on it. The owner was extremelly hospitable and he can get you there easily, just need to let him know

If you want to experience the famous paddy fields of vietnam,staying among them.. this is the place for sure.. fabulous home cooked meals,rice wine,Hanoi beer and scooty rides for the day..unforgettable experience !

Everything about you the place is excellent for a relaxed break in traditional Vietnam. Do use Google translate to communicate with the owners, who are the most welcoming people who show great generosity.

Really nice place, the views are amazing, the service is very good, the owner is very helpful and try to do everything to make ur stay confortable, the breakfast is delicious. the room very clean, the bed confortable and you have a water boiler, free tea, free coffe and more.... i highly recomend this place to relax in contact with the nature!
