Limestone View Homestay

We had the most wonderful experience at Limestone View Homestay. Dzung and his family were all so lovely and welcoming during our stay. The room was large and comfortable with incredible views of the scenery of Ninh Binh. The family were so kind, friendly and helpful during the stay. Dzung’s wife prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning and they lent us their bikes to explore the local area. Dzung provided lots of useful information and tips about what to do including visiting Trang An, Tam Coc and Mua Cave. He was always there to greet us whenever we arrived/ left the building. He also recommended local restaurants for the evening. Although we only stayed for 1 night, Dzung gave us full use of facilities for the 2 full days - giving us an extra breakfast on the day we arrived and letting us use showers later on the 2nd day after getting caught in the rain. He organised our transport onto the next part of our trip and the whole family gave us a lovely, warm send off. The experience was so happy and positive. We would absolutely recommend Limestone View Homestay and hope to visit again in the future! Thank you Dzung and family.

Beautiful scenery and located about a 10 minutes drive from the actual town of ninh binh. The service from the hosts was beyond excellent, if I could give more stars I would. One of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I have had!
Also one of the best coffees at breakfast I have had here in Vietnam. Great pancakes too!

Absolutely wonderful experience staying with Dzung and his family. Amazingly friendly, warm people. Clean, cozy rooms, one of the nicest beds I've slept on in Vietnam. Reasonable rates and close to some of the most amazing sights in Ninh Binh. Dzung was so knowledgeable of the best spots to visit, the best times to avoid crowds, set us up with a motorbike rental, and even had the bike delivered to the homestay. We knew the north would be cooler than the south, but we were not prepared for a cold snap that hit during our stay, we went into town to buy some extra layers for all the out door activities but we were unable to find gloves while shopping, when we came back Dzung gave both me and my wife pairs of gloves to wear and even ear muffs to keep my ears warm while riding around on our motorbike in 8 to 9°C weather. I can not recommend Limestone View Homestay enough. Also, Dzung's wife prepared us amazing breakfast every day. I'm not a big breakfast person, but I couldn't pass up her amazing pancakes, fresh fruit, and delicious coffee each morning before our adventures. When she found out I was a chef back home on our last day she even insisted on sharing some of her amazing home cooking for her family. Thank you for all your generosity, I wish you great prosperity. We will see you next time we come to visit Vietnam.

Me and my friend really have enjoyed our stay here. Dzung and his wife (the owners) are absolutely brilliant and have helped us out so much with planning our stay, organizing things to do and have been active on WhatsApp whenever we have needed anything. Absolutely perfect hosts, it has been a pleasure to stay with them.

We had the pleasure of staying at the homestay in mid-October for a delightful four-night experience, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. Dzung and his wife made our stay truly memorable with their warm and welcoming hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to ensure we felt at home, and their kindness and helpfulness added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also very clean, and it had great views of the surrounding landscape. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by Dzung’s wife.
The homestay is conveniently situated near some of the most popular tourist attractions, making it an excellent base for those who want to explore the area. The added bonus is the availability of bicycles at the homestay, which we could use for free. Exploring the surroundings on a bike added a sense of adventure to our trip, and it's a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the local culture and take in the breathtaking scenery.
In conclusion, our stay at this homestay was a memorable and enriching experience. We left with a sense of gratitude for Dzung and his family's genuine hospitality. If I ever find myself in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here and we recommend booking a stay at this homestay. Didn't stay at the homestay but my friend's bike broke down and Dzung (host) was beyond kind and welcoming. He took us in, served us some tea, coconut and biscuits whilst he called our hotel to assist us.

Dzung us a wonderful host, very kind and welcoming. He will make you feel like coming home. We had two nights and were able to explore the amazing landscape by bike, which is free in the homestay. The breakfast was delicious and made with love, also if preferred vegan or vegetarian.

I definitely would recommend booking this place and enjoy the amazing view from the rooftop.

It is absolutely an amazing place to stay. The location is very good to visit some of popular tourist attractions by a bike (You can rent one from this homestay). The host family is so kind to help you for anything. Such a lovely view from your room & homemade breakfast is so tasty. Had such a perfect stay at Limestone View Homestay! Dzung and his family took such great care of us and made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were great, the views were great, the service and generosity were absolutely top notch. We would definitely recommend that anyone traveling through Vietnam stop in Ninh Binh and enjoy their hospitality! Such a great experience!

Had a great 3 days here. The room was clean and huge with fantastic views. The breakfast was large and delicious. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, sorted us out with some scooters and a taxi to Ha Long Bay once we left. Overall a great stay and highly recommended if you are in the Ninh Bình area.

Great stay here, the hosts are so welcoming. We arrived early off a night train and they gave us breakfast and let us check in early. On the last day 2 of us were sick and they rearranged our taxi and let us check out late. Room had comfy bed, stunning views and was very clean. Great location for cycling to attractions.

The stay at lime house was amazing. We initially only stayed for 2 nights but extended to 3 nights. Anh Dung and his wife, the whole family are just beautiful kind hearted people, very generous. We had many conversations about Vietnam culture and the special thing here is his family has been living on the same lot of land the house was built on for 300 years - a beautiful legacy. The rooms were very clean, breakfast is delicious. On our last day we had home made pho and it was the best one we’ve tasted in Vietnam “cảm ơn chị” 💜
In the future we would definitely come back and stay here. The location was good as it was close to the main attractions, bike ride away.

It is a very convenient base for us to visit Di sản Tràng An, only a 2km ride on hotel provided bikes.

So many other positives to list: the rooms are very clean with everything (hot water, wifi, aircon) working good. The views from room, dining area and rooftop are spectacular. The breakfast is amazing with banana pancake, eggs cooked to order on fresh bread roll, 100% juice with no sugar/water plus some fresh cut fruit - for me the best I have experienced in Vietnam.

And lastly but not least, the hosts are so warm and supportive of our needs. If coming back to the area, we will definitely try staying here

The best place to stay in Ninh Binh! Dzung and his family are the kindest people you will meet. They are genuine and friendly and so helpful. We had a beautiful stay here and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The view is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, rooms are spacious and clean with comfy beds. The rooftop garden and pool are beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here - it was a highlight of our trip! Thank you Dzung for such a great stay.

The place is wonderful, the rooms give a great view. A bit off Tam Coc and Ninh Binh, but we had free bicycles and could easily get there (10-15min), on the road you will be able to see a part of a rural Vietnam which is something you cannot easly experience in other cities. You can also do a boat tour in the area.

Dzung and his family are the most amazing people that I ever met, full of energy and always smiling. We asked so much and they always did their best to satisfy us, even beyond that.

Dzung also took his time to explain the best places to go on his hand-drawn map, you can trust him on it, he knows what he is talking about.

Zhong and his dear family are some sweetest, sincere and helpful people you will meet. The hotel itself is nicely situated near the main natural attractions of Ninh Binh, and is surrounded by excellent family restaurants specialising in local delicacies. The hotel, and the individual rooms, look our over spectacular views of limestone hills and the valleys which separate them. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are all quite spacious with a sizeable balcony. The homemade breakfasts are also fantastic great. Lastly, Zhong goes out of his way to ensure your comfort in every respect :) Will be coming back !!!

We had a wonderful stay. Very convenient location for bicycle trips. Room was spacious and sparkingly clean. Pool on a roof has great views and also was very clean. On top of that Dzong and his family, they are truly amazing, so welcoming and interesting to talk! Would love to come back

Could not ask for better hosts. Beautiful, well maintained rooms with private washrooms. The view is spectacular! The free use of bicycles is a plus; so much to explore in the area.

Dzung and his family were extreamy welcoming, and helpful. They have very large tiled rooms with balcony and bathroom. Make a delicious breakfast and provide bikes, maps and lots of information.Dzung also organised a car and train booking

Only stayed for one night but it was one of the best home stay/hotel experiences we have had. Dzung was extremely welcoming and helped us to quickly plan an itinerary for the short time we were in Ninh Binh. Gave us excellent recommendations and was very accommodating in every single way (providing bicycles, waking up at 4:30am to provide us with a motorbike so we could see sunrise, cooking us dinner + breakfast at whatever time we liked just to name a few!!). Rooms were excellent condition and all very newly decorated with a lovely rooftop pool as well. The view is incomparable and we were lucky enough to be upgraded for our one night to a very spacious family room on the top floor with a direct view of the limestone mountains. Location was perfect, very easy to get to all the main attractions by bicycle and motorbike.

Can not recommend this place enough, thank you very much to Dzung and his family for making us feel so welcome! Hope to come and visit again one day!!
