BLS Spain Visa Application Centre Ho Chi Minh Vietnam

Had a good experience with BLS Spain in Ho Chi Minh. The staff was helpful, polite and explained clearly my questions.

em trai nhân viên làm việc chuyên nghiệp và nhiệt tình. Tư vấn và xem hồ sơ khách kĩ lưỡng. Dịch vụ nhanh chóng. Mình làm visa schengen 1 tuần có.

1. No signage on the building to guide.
2. Very unprofessional office set up - a guy in T-shirt accepting applications like he’s at home or doing a part time job - shame representation of a diplomatic mission.
3. No consistency between the information on the website - in terms of submission documents - Vs what the guy accepting applications said at the appointment. They seem to randomly make up their criteria.
4. photocopy service I was told was broken at first but then acceptable later. I hope they photocopied what I asked for to add to the dossier of documents submitted to the embassy.
5. Charged me for sms service - I never received any sms on status of application.
6. No clarity on timing of decision - between 3 weeks and 45 days according to the guy. One expects Europeans to have better standards.
7. Payment was only bank transfer which is good.
8. Biometrics taken was quick and the girl at that counter was courteous.
9. The office is a dingy little room with no signage or Spanish flag or anything to make it seem professional. Not even a sign in the elevator or any directional guidance. No tokens for waiting or queueing - I was the only one there.

Overall compared to VFS, BLS is average and amateur at best.

I’m awaiting the decision of the embassy and crossing my toes they don’t hassle me more for papers when I lived and worked for a global company in Madrid for many years and now just want to go back to visit old friends and colleagues.

Unfriendly staffs, the way they talked like they were mad about something. Especially the guy with glasses was really rude (Trung), I saw him yelling at another guest that came after me. Not sure if they were at the office all the time because I had made several phone calls asking for informations and no one picked up the phone so I had to call to Hanoi office. And the most unrespecful thing was he threw away one of my document that was supposed to send to the embassy, which I paid almost 1 million for the translation service. I just found out after receiving the email from the embassy asking for supporting document. Also, when I came to receive my result, the envelope was already opened. The worst customer service ever, I paid for their service but they made me feel like they offered it for free.

They didn’t update any required from the stupid of embassy of spain. embassy of spain only accept document that has chop even you’re from another country not from vietnam wasted my time and my money.

Can't contact them to ask if application can now be picked up.
