Such a fun place! If you can handle a kayak that's what I would recommend doing! Wife and I rode in one and I was able to paddle us both with no problems. I do feel like a lot of the people that chose the kayak did not know how to steer so it may feel like bumper boats at times! There is a big boat option where you don't have to paddle so that is an option as well. We got to see monkeys so that was pretty neat. What a beautiful place, if I wasn't on a tour I think I could have spent at least half a day here!

Absolutely gorgeous, a must visit when visiting Hanoi/Vietnam. You can make it a day trip or take a cruise, see the great scenery, visit the amazing cave and you can kayak the Ti Top Island in the bay.

Kayaking offers freedom of movement but requires 1-2 people to paddle the kayak.
Boat ride is being paddled by the locals, which seats more people but offers very limited freedom.

It all depends on what you intend to do. Sunscreen and UV-proof cap is recommended as weather can be extremely hot

Lovely experience. This was part of a tour we booked and our first stop. You get to decide what boat type to take around and we decided the paddle boat. Very relaxing. Saw guava trees, caves, monkeys not to mention the stunning view!

My family had a wonderful time at Hang Luồn scenics, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Ha Long Bay. I was amazed by the scenery of the limestone mountains, the clear blue water, and the lush green vegetation. I enjoyed kayaking through the cave entrance and exploring the hidden lake inside. I also saw many monkeys, birds, and fish in their natural habitat.

The staff at Hang Luồn scenics were very friendly and helpful. They provided me with all the equipment and guidance I needed for kayaking and sightseeing. They also told me some interesting stories and legends about the cave and the bay. The service was fast and professional.

The only downside of my visit was the price difference between tourists and locals. I had to pay a higher fee than the Vietnamese people who came with me. I understand that this is a common practice in Vietnam, but I wish there was more transparency and fairness in the pricing. I think this would make the experience more enjoyable and satisfying for everyone.

Overall, I highly recommend Hang Luồn scenics to anyone who loves nature and adventure. It is a must-see attraction in Ha Long Bay that will leave you breathless and amazed.

Coming to Luon Cave, in addition to admiring the natural beauty, you also have very memorable experiences of halong bay. The most interesting activity to mention is kayaking to explore Luon Cave. On a beautiful small kayak, chatting and watching the wonderful scenery is so romantic and poetic. A kayak is usually for two people with two oars, you can freely control the kayak amidst the immense waves of Ha Long Bay.
As members of the 15 strong Indian group , my team and myself went to Hang Luon Cave this morning as part of an overnight visit to Halong Bay.

The cave - or large lagoon - is reached by boat (or kayak) through an underwater cavern - and is a very popular attraction. One of the interesting aspects is that a troupe of monkeys can often be seen near their feeding station!

All in all a most enjoyable experience.

Absolutely beautiful fabulous as a boat trip must do if visiting Vietnam book before you arrive or when you arrive doesn’t matter service and price won’t be much different

STUNNING 😍 you can choose between the kayak which is for two people, but you get really wet! or you can choose the bamboo boat that you don’t get wet at all, but you are sharing it between 10 people! We chose the bamboo boat, and it was amazing! Super relaxing, highly recommend! 😍

Part of Halong Bay tour, you can do kayak or row boat that the company has a staff to row. The scene is pretty, very peaceful. It is worth the tour!! It was great. Make sure to go with hat and sun protection. July was very hot.

Beautiful and splendid natural beauty, kayaking around this feels like walking back in time. Soo many mind blowing views and scenery is just in unbelievable

Cool little experience with great views. Your choice of kayaking or a bamboo boat, will take you through a cave and into the inside of a hollow karst island.
The inside is tranquil and cool, with great up close views of the cliffs and jungle. If you arrive early in the day, the monkies will come down for a feed of bananas that the guides put out.

Hang luon would be 1 of the itenaries whether you choose route 1 or route 2 of your hai long cruise. You need to rent a boat, motorboat or a kayak to get around the area. Suggest you group up people in ypur boat upto 6 people and get a row boat. It pay the same whether you are 1 to or 6.
It is a good place to chill after cave and walkabout and breath taking view of lagoon. Should not missed it.

It's hot even in May, so we recommend wearing a hat.
