Den Long - Home Cooked Vietnamese Restaurant

We were on a short business trip in Saigon (21 Dec 2023) and I brought my colleagues to have our first dinner at Den Long Restaurant. The online reservation, done on the day itself, was swift and easy. When we arrived, our table was ready and the service was as friendly as I remembered from my personal family trip in Dec 2022.

We ordered 5-6 dishes to share, and all of them were delicious! Not too salty, or too sweet, the perfect balance of flavours. The crew even surprised us with a complimentary side dish (a new item on their menu) which was absolutely yummy.

All of us enjoyed the food at Den Long. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine at pocket-friendly prices, we highly recommend Den Long. We will certainly return again the next trip we visit Saigon!

Great restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine and good quality of the ingredients. I went here 3 times during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City and tried different dishes every time. I can really recommend it. I especially liked the pomelo Salad and the curry with frog.

Lovely food and experience. The dishes are quite special and we didn't see it in other restaurants. The interior is nice and comfortable. It's a Sat night, so maybe due to busy hour, food were served a bit slow, but it was OK, we didn't mind. The service was good overall.

Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! What a gem I found! Den Long is certainly lifts up to its name if Home cooked Vietnamese dishes. This place was packed when I entered and it was actually closing soon. And it’s packed with locals, so you know it has to be good. Ordered their grilled pork, pram pancakes and rolls and this place certainly deserves 5-stars all the way! Food was yummmmyyyylicious! And the portions are generous with the freshest ingredients. Prawns were big, crunchy and juicy! Certainly made my tastebuds dancing and a well worth it place to have a fully satisfied meal. Highly recommended!

We had a 10 dish feast, plus cocktails, for a great price, and every dish was absolutely amazing. The staff is easy to communicate with, and ensure you have a good experience. Highly recommend a visit!

Cozy family restaurant with impeccable tasting food. The pork belly was crisp and sweet, and their curry was just right. Perfect place for a stop when you’re hungry.

Great hue food. Fantastic dishes with a wide variety at a reasonable price. Unique local tonkin flower vegetables dish which we all loved. Many meat dishes were equally good and always accompanied by a side of salad. Fish soup was extremely comforting. Highly recommended.

Some of the best service in HCM and everything was perfect. Our group tried a little bit of everything from their menu, from the shell crab, baked oysters and eels on the rock to caramelized pork, grilled squid with chili and the frog legs with egg yolk sauce.
Everything is amazing, one of the most unique experiences we had. It's more expensive than most restaurants but the meal is definitely worth it.

The 2 stars of the meal goes to the garlic fried rice and the salted egg soft shell crab! A chill place with really good service. They are always smiling. Love it!

Located on a busy shopping street - so a great spot to pop in for lunch or dinner (I did both). It’s very authentic Vietnamese food, but made in a restaurant kitchen. A lot of seafood - Everything from rice paper rolls and salads, but also chicken, beef, pork and rice dishes all full of flavour. Very affordable price point. Great aircon, can get busy in the evening as very popular.

My first day in Vietnam and fortunately , visit to this restaurant due to good reviews on Google . Wow ! Food are delicious ! Service is the best ! I had a wonderful dinner time in here . Would love to visit again !

Comprehensive menu, fantastic food and very attentive staff. Our first authentic Vietnamese meal and we were not disappointed. Great flavours and served by attentive well presented staff, a must if you are in this part of town.

Reasonably priced, great taste and good service. The trifactor for any great restaurant. The dishes were well presented and portions were reasonable for 2 persons, but on the small side. So order a little more. They have many vegetarian options.

The dish sizes are really small. Especially when you visit as a group of 4 and 5 and out comes 3 pieces of ribs. How do you share that. The staff should advise the customer better. So order more !

The first time I came to Vietnam I chose this restaurant. It does not make me disappointed. Today is not too full, maybe because it's a weekday. The decoration, the atmosphere, and the service are nice. Especially, I impress the crab lotus fried rice. It is a little bit salty for me, but it's still great. Here is the wonderful place that I will come back if I have a chance.

I had an amazing experience. I am going to remember the food that I had for a long time. The food was of great quality and quite flavorful. the whole experience was amazing. the staff is polite and attentive.

Everything was great! Nice bowl of Bunbohue (could use a bit more spice), caramelized pork went amazing w the rice.

Fish sauce chicken was a tad bit old and salty, still good though.
