Excellent authentic Vietnamese food inside a colonial house. The restaurant has two houses opposite each other and each has its own decor and ambience. Food was superb. Portions were small but allow you to have more variety. Will definitely go back again. Last but not least, the pricing is relatively reasonable (compared to Vietnamese food that one pays in Singapore). Definitely worth going!

A must try! If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese, home cooked style meals - this is your go to place!

They have both Vietnamese and English menus for your convenience. Service is friendly, quick and they’re very professional.

Portions are small but perfect so you can get a variety of options without over ordering when sharing. This place will not disappoint!

Belongs to the architect Tran Binh, this venue is well decorated with a consistent taste and great attention to details to recreate the post -war era feel.

Menu is incredibly expansive with ingredients and open-end options for diners to choose from.

They claim 80% of the vegetables are grown in their farm outside of the city.

We had a great meal, ordered dishes from the menu. The bacon and lemongrass is fantastics. They also have pickled baby eggplants and cabbage.

While the objects and decor are nostalgic, the food that we had was prepared mostly in the traditional way, with a premium (still nostalgic) presentation with a generous use of animal fat for flavours.

The venue opens wider inside, however no lift and not easily accessible for disabled people. Some staircases are rather narrow.

We had a great time overall and would definitely come back.

Saw this restaurant being recommended on tiktok so we came down to try for dinner. Interior was very beautifully decorated.

Menu was very overwhelming so we asked the servers for recommendation as suggested on the menu. They spoke English so it was easy to communicate as we were non locals.

Food reminded us of home cooked food. Overall a hearty and enjoyable meals with a taste of Vietnam, would come back again to try other dishes!

Excellent service, great design restaurant by an architecture owner. They got Michelin 2023 award, very satisfied with the service, ambiance and music. They brought you to the Vietnam kitchen feeling in the year 1980-1990 if I’m not mistaken.
The price is not cheap but it’s really worth. Highly recommended!

This is a tourist friendly restaurant serving Vietnamese food with a very nice cosy and instagram-worthy interior. The staff speaks English, so it's easy to communicate. As its menu suggested, we asked the waiter to recommend dishes and the food was all tasty and delicious.
I particularly loved the fried spring rolls and Iced milk coffee.

Great ambiance, great location, great restaurant. The service is impeccable and the food is mouthwatering.

If you're a fan of lemongrass and garlic, this place is a must-visit. The vegetables are fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes are just right, making it definitely worth a visit.

My favorite restaurant in saigon. Yah, its pricey compared to other family restaurants but they serve good food here. The atmosphere here makes you feel like home. Drinks and deserts were alright. There are too many items in the menu so you might get lost and dont know what to order.

One of the best Vietnamese homecooked style restaurants in Ho Chi Minh. It doesn’t matter where you come from, you will definitely find something that suits your taste here. All the ingredients are carefully chosen and cooked to perfection.

I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. Not too simple nor excessive, right enough to be “in the place”. Good choice to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

We visited this restaurant twice and were pleased with our meals both times. The food was delicious, perfectly-seasoned and had wok-hei. The restaurant is housed within a villa that has seems as if time has stopped. Filled with Knick-knacks and photos from the yesteryears, it promises to take you back in time. The only thing that could be improved was the menu which could do with more pictures to make it more accessible.

Food was amazing, host was helpful with recommendations because the menu is quite large and varied. Had morning glory, bamboo shrimp salad, garlic fried rice and clay pot pork belly and a few beers, only cost 750k. Highly recommend for a nicer dinner. Go a bit earlier, place fills in around 6:30-7pm. Restaurant was impeccably clean, even the washroom was sparkling.

The only time I could get local food ! So glad to be able to dine at this unconventional restaurant. It has several levels ( 3 floors at least? Didn’t get to check it out) but the whole design of the restaurant is just so unique. I didn’t goggle much about this place, it was recommended by a friend . It felt like there was a rich history behind this restaurant. I’ll list down my favourite food, the crab spring rolls and soft soft crabs ! ( portions are very small so we order a couple more to share for 4 of us) We didn’t order much . there were 2 orders ( fried rice and morning glory) that took very long to come so we ended up cancelling it as we were too full from drinks and the fried food.

Was recommended by a non-local friend staying in saigon to have dinner here. The place is located along a small street, the interior decor is very balinese feel with water fountain and wooden steps. The food apparently is very local according to my other local Vietnamese friend. It seems like these dishes are what the local Vietnamese would eat at home. Overall food was pretty good. The chicken salad is a must order.
