Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the 5-star hotel and resort in Ninh Binh, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The breathtaking views, impeccable services, and a diverse, high-quality buffet breakfast made my stay unforgettable. The restaurant impressed me with its excellent Vietnamese and international dishes (recommended the crispy rice with crab soup, so special and it’s the typical dish from the area) . Above all, the well-trained staff added an extra touch of hospitality, making my experience truly exceptional. A special thank to: Ronald the manager, Harry the help manager, Lucy from the reception, and all the staff from restaurant, You made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing hotel, especially for families. The staff was so kind with us and our children. Our kids would play with the staff and laugh with them. The rooms were clean and spacious. Location is excellent. The breakfast was great. Price was good also. Highly recommended for your trip. It's well located for trips in the area, with bicycles available on site, even with child seats! They helped us plan our adventures in the area as well!

Harry , the front office manager checked us in and was able to communicate with ease in English. He was extremely helpful and suggested where we should go . We were surprised though that foreigners are not able to rent a car to drive around when we asked Harry to help us book - only motorcycles and bicycles!!!
We were surprised when we checked into the room and saw that the hotel had a nice surprise in the room for us as we are celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary in Ninh Binh !!!
Hotel staff are very customer service oriented and that’s what makes the stay even more enjoyable!!!

I also want to thank you Harry for his excellent service too! He was with us and arranged transport to send us to the hospital when my mum was not feeling well. Harry explained to me patiently on the prescription of medicine due to language problems with the hospital staff.

The staff was extremely accommodating, professional, and friendly – this was the best part. The rooms were also in excellent condition and quite pretty with nice views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here which contributed to a great experience in Ninh Binh!

Really good service, the rooms were spacious and fairly clean. I wish it had an exhaust in the bathroom. The staff were so friendly. We were here on Christmas eve and tried so hard to create a homely environment with good food and carols by the staff. It was truly wonderful. Thank you for looking after my family.

We had a nice stay at the Hidden Charm
hotel which is a good base to explore Ninh Binh and the surroundings. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, only the shower was a little leaky. Very nice outdoor garden and pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

We went on a boat tour and made our way to the Bird Valley park, which both were also extremely nice!

The hotel is located central to most attractions in Ninh Binh. The service you get from the hotel staff is most impeccable. There is a young cheerful handsome guy (Henry) who goes out of his way to assist all four of us elderly ladies whenever and wherever he sees us. He is at the carpark helping us unload our luggages, he is running to press the lift button for us, he is at our room, checking that we are settled well, and even at the dining hall helping out. We have our blind friend among us and she was assisted by Henry frequently. A trainee waitress at the restaurant, Trinh Tquynh Trang is very friendly and helpful too. Thank you for giving us a wonderful stay at your charming hotel.

The hotel is very premium in term of rooms and the interior of the building but for the location is quite quiet and peaceful since it is located around plantation and mountain area.

The hotel is situated close to Tam Coc scentic site where by you can do biking, ride on a bullock cart for 4pax, we have a fun trip in Ninh Binh, overall we enjoyed our stay in Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel.

Great location near everything within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Our stay here was great. The room was spacious and clean. They have beautiful water lilies pond outside. Breakfast came with our stay and it was okay. Not much of a selection but it was a lot better than most hotels on our trip so far. The restaurant food is pretty good and the portions is big. Thanh, the manager, was super helpful. Over all the staff here are very accommodating and sweet. They were mostly young adults.

I would definitely come back and stay here if I ever return. One things that would stop me from returning having nothing to do with the hotel. It is the pollution here. It’s almost unbearable for me. Ever evening everyone burn their trash. If it’s just plant waste it might be okay, however it’s plant, plastic and who know what. The whole area is full of smoke. I could feel my lungs and throat burning by some type of chemical.

Excellent service from the hotel staff. They helped us to arrange a private driver for a whole day and we could rent motorbikes from the hotel. The free bikes are very convenient as well. For my wife’s birthday, they brought a personalised cake to our room as a surprise!

The location and service was really good. Rooms were average, nothing special about it. The place was child friendly and provided with baby cradles. Staff were friendly and helpful. The backyard has got a nice lotus pond that's good for photoshoots. It's located close to lots of restaurants and pubs.

Nice 3-4 star hotel in Tam Coc located just a short walk from Tam Coc town. Gorgeous views of the paddy fields and mountains from rooms facing that direction. Breakfast was a good spread! Room and lobby are nice and comfortable (especially the bed!). Some defects in the toilet but other than that, all good! Oh, service by the few guys at the front desk was great - helpful and very polite!

This hotel presents good value for money. Staff service is consistently excellent-good. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a good range of European and Vietnamese food. The room themselves are pleasant and well decorated.

Finally, the location of the hotel - just a relaxed 5 min walk from the shops of Tam Coc - as well as some of the areas attraction - was excellent! The counter staff spoke excellent English and were happy to provide guidance and advise in relation to our day trips.

One minor room annoyance -
I found the aircon in our room a bit weak though (not very cold and low airflow) and woke up in the middle of the night to a stuffy room . The ac red indicator light was flashing but switching the aircon on-off appeared to restart airflow - however it never got really cold or refreshing. However, we found it acceptable. However, you may not find it acceptable if you are accustomed to a colder climate.

Overall I am happy to recommend this hotel for your stay in Ninh Binh.

We absolutely love this hotel, the accommodations are top notch, beautiful and clean, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, the views nice, pool clean and inviting, free breakfast buffet is not enormous but very nice and tasty, the location is very close walking distance to Tam Cốc boat harbor and town where there are restaurants, excellent in-room high speed wifi, good air conditioning, tasteful room decor with good functionality, and its peaceful here so we got good nights sleep every night.

We highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if ever back in the area.

The hotel staff are absolute legends!

First, the rooms are nice and comfortable with a tub and shower. There is a spa, pool, and restaurant onsite. Laundry service is available and there is an ATM in the front.

Down the street there are cafes and restaurants. At the end you will find a rowing excursion that will take you around rice paddy fields and through caves.

We had an accident from an excursion that required a hospital visit. The staff were so kind and understanding. A lovely lady came along with us to the hospital to translate our needs. They took care of us back at the hotel with room service and checking in on us as well. The last day of our stay, we woke up late and missed breakfast. I was a bit devastated because I needed to eat something for my medication. The phone rang and they offered to bring breakfast to the room without me asking. This was absolutely kind of them!

The staff made our stay very memorable and we will be back when we are in good health.
