Minh Khoi Restaurant and Foods Banh Mi

I ate here three times on a two day stay in Tam Coc! I tried the oatmeal, noodle soup and egg and veg banh mi, as well as a mango smoothie and hot ginger, lemon and honey tea. I loved all of my meals! The staff are so friendly and accommodating and you get incredible value for money. I would highly recommend!

We had a great dining experience at Minh Khoi restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious! The bread for the Banh Mi sandwiches was perfect and light, and the fillings were so flavorful. A perfect Banh Mi sandwich!

Also, the beef pho, goat lemongrass and chili plate, and pork and chicken skewers were very tasty.

If you’re in Tam Coc, make this one of your stops. You’ll really enjoy your meal!

We grabbed a quick breakfast and some lunch to takeaway for our train ride, we were in a rush and the lovely lady serving/cooking was super quick with service and everything tasted amazing. It was also the BEST coffee we have had so far in Vietnam. Definitely recommend this place for a yummy breakfast/lunch!

Great casual spot. Visited twice and is often pretty packed! It feels very family run which is nice, staff are all friendly and food is nice and quick. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We first eat brunch here and ordered fried rice with tofu and vegetable noodle soup and it was awesome! The fried rice was just amazing. Best fried rice I have ever tried. The pho is also good, it has simple taste but really good. For dinner we ordered tofu and mushroom, veggie bread and it was also really good! For breakfast we ordered steamed vegetables and it was also good. The sauce they give is unique and I love it. Mango shake is also good. Overall, very good experience! Highly recommended. 💖

Best restaurant in Tam Coc, maybe even the whole province!

The food was amazing, with lots of delicious vegan options as well.

We enjoyed vegan meals every time - so much variety! The tofu options were really delicious, I think in Vietnam they use silken tofu, which is more smooth and soft than in the west - totally recommend!

I also recommend the Vegetable Pho and the Vegetable Stir-Fry Rice! Super delicious, best Pho I've had in Vietnam yet!

I can see why they have such high ratings! I went for dinner and got the Pho Bo (beef) and it was delicious. I overheard the table next to me say this was the best banh mi they ever had, especially for the fair price. Will come back tomorrow for lunch :)

not my first time here and it’s still a great place, food and drink quality has been consistently good for 4-5 years. Banh mi, pho and other local dishes are tasty, milk coffee is huge.

Delicious family run Vietnamese food on the main strip of Tam Coc. We were here for three days and went three times, each time ordering something different, it did not disappoint! If you are in Tam Coc, make sure you make this a place you visit.

The food was amazing. We tried the pho and the spring rolls and they were both really tasty. The staff was also really nice.

Amazing place! We have been in Ninh Binh for 4 days and have eaten here everyday. Every single thing we’ve eaten has been great and the service is awesome. Really good prices too! Also really good atmosphere as well in a great location!

Really good Vietnamese food with a very huge variety of dishes and beverages. And very cheap too! The service is so nice and attentive. Highly recommended!!!

Can't get enough of the food from this restaurant! Can't vouch for them more! The owner is so Amicable. The food is so delicious that we ended up having every meal (2 lunches , 2 dinners) while we were at Tam coc. came back to home and Already started missing there food here . Highly highly recommend!
Do try their Bahn mi, Chicken and pineapple dish with rice, Pho, Bun Cha , Coconut coffee and Egg coffee. All are delicious!😋

I had a pretty good experience here. Food portions here are generally large. The staff are welcoming, and you have the option to sit inside the shop or outside if you prefer to do people watching. I got myself a mango smoothie (40K) to cool off and this was pretty good. I also got myself a Bun Cha (70K). The meat patties were small and round, which is different from what I'm used to in Hanoi. But it generally made eating much easier since they were bite-sized. The bowl was also chock-full of vegetables. I also got the spring rolls (75K for 6) which were well-fried and the vegetables inside were still crunchy. Definitely would recommend this place. In fact, the restaurant got a lot more crowded at 12 noon, so drop by earlier if you wish to avoid the crowd.

I came back for lunch the very next day at close to 2pm, and they were still pretty busy. I got the grilled chicken banh mi (30K), which was filled with chicken meat. When the server asks if you want it spicy, all they're doing is adding chilli sauce, which isn't very spicy. I thought there could have been more vegetables in there for better balance. I also got the rice rolls filled with chicken and vegetables (60K). This was filled with a lot more vegetables and was pretty delicious.

We have visited many restaurants in Vietnam, but this one was the best one. Every food we have ordered was really delicious, good spiced and there was plenty of good quality meat. The coffee was also tasty. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic little restaurant! We came here for every meal during our stay in Tam Coc for many reasons. Food super tasty and big portions! Staff very kind and accommodating. The highlight for us is that they were very baby friendly, with a baby chair and toys to keep them busy! Also our baby here really enjoyed food! Also felt quite clean! Only the bathroom could be improved, but overall super recommended!!

Great food!! Finally a place to try vegetarian pho, and it was delicious. So many other Vege dishes too. Staff were super friendly as well.

I was a bit sceptical about this place as it was opposite all the booking offices but it had really affordable prices and great food. The staff was really helpful and helped me enjoy my pho and bahn mi to the fullest and accommodating for my special requests.
